For those who both want to take comfortable forest walks, swim, have an active outdoors with running, bike, SUP, cross-country skiing, etc., and be close to Stockholm City for shopping and bars. The cottage overlooks the forest, garden and the host's house, there is a swimming lake 100 m away, 5 min to bus towards Sthlm (about 20 min journey) and 15 min to grocery store, pizzeria and kiosk. Hellasgården's long running and ski tracks are within walking distance and you take both a car and bus quickly to use their entire frisksports facility.

Warm and spacious family home close to Stockholm

We had a wonderful week at Julia’s beautiful home. It was just two adults and our daughter, but there was plenty of room for more, and we comfortably hosted some friends with kids for dinner one night. So nice being able to walk out the back door into the woods and the nearby small lake. Our 2yr old loved the toys, flowers, records, and books around the house. I enjoyed the sauna in the basement and the views out of every window surrounded by trees and other homes but feeling very private. We cooked every day and found the kitchen very comfortable with all tools and cookware we needed. In short, this is a wonderful family friendly home and we would happily return here again. Thank you Julia for sharing your home with us!

I highly recommend this studio apartment. It was one of the cleanest Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in, and it had everything I needed — and more. Struan was very welcoming and helpful whenever I had a question or needed anything. I’d definitely stay here again.

Camilla is a very nice and helpful Host. Also the Appartment was very nice. Everything you need is there, it was even possible to rent Bikes from Camilla. There is a small beach nearby and the natur reservats can bei reached by bike or Bus, if you don't come by car like us. From the apartment it is possible to reach Stockholm old town in about a hour.

Tobias' accommodation is ideal for those who want to explore the city of Stockholm and at the same time enjoy the beautiful countryside around it. The house offers everything you need for a successful vacation in Sweden. Everything is as shown in the photos and actually much more cozy! We felt very comfortable as a family of four for two weeks! Tobias is a great, accommodating host! We followed all his tips and, among other things, discovered beautiful lakes around Älta. We fully recommend the place!

Really lovely and spacious villa in quiet neighborhood. Great decor and amenities needed. Lovely enclosed garden with large terrace and table tennis. Close to nature reserve and delicious swimming lake with several bathing bridges and diving towers, as well as the possibility of walking and running on marked trails around the lake. Helpful and friendly host. Everything was clean, neat, and ready for us. Short distance to Stockholm ( about 20 minutes drive). Definitely recommendable.
