Katarina is an amazing host who is kind, showed us around, gave us tips and was very helpful at all times. The cottage was magical, exactly as described. We spent the most of the time grilling outside the cottage with the lake view. It was a really relaxing weekend and we definitely recommend Katarina as a host! Lots of windows. Beautiful light. Very minimalistic atmosphere which gave a calm and peaceful feeling. Cozy front room with windows, daybed and surrounding views of boats passing by was perfect for coffee and relaxation. Elisabet is an excellent, responsive and kind host. While you cannot take a car there, they have two hand carts available to use when you arrive. If you don’t mind walking, it is a good walk with your suitcases in the carts from the ferry to the home and you’ll get a lot of wildlife, animals and things to see. We enjoyed the nature. Water everywhere. The sunsets were beautiful. Private beach to use (visible to everyone but not available). A sweet market just down the hill with almost everything you may need for a few days. A boat, kayak, SUPs and linens for rent—ask to reserve them ahead of your stay. We loved the experience.

Nice little cottage right by the water and overlooking the fjord. Simple standard but with everything you need. Paula is a thoughtful host who makes guests feel welcome. A plus is, of course, that our dog was also welcome. We'd love to come again!

Perfect location, surroundings very quiet and relaxing. Shopping is within easy walking distance, easy and quick to do to Stockholm by train. We had a wonderful time! Thank you so much

We’ve had an amazing stay with friends and toddlers. The house was perfect for cooking and social evenings. We had bad weather which means we did not enjoy the pool as we hoped to, but luckily we enjoyed the sauna with breathtaking views. Mikael was responsive and always helpful when we had questions. Wow!! Incredible house in Sweden, only 35 minutes from Stockholm. We wish we could've stayed longer in Naomi's gorgeous house which has a pool, sauna, trampoline, many board games and beautiful views all around. Our family of five loved every minute of our time here. Naomi was incredibly kind and accommodating, and was always quick to help when we needed it. Thank you Naomi, we hope to return again soon!!

Tomas was responsive and proactive. He made sure that we were familiar with the property and addressed any needs we had. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and cookware and eating utensils. The house was well decorated and provided a feeling of comfort. The home's design was fun and unique and the hot tub a perfect end for a busy day!

The place was even better than the pictures showed. Great price-to-value ratio. Would definitely stay here again, 10/10!

We came right before the season began, so things were extra quiet! The host met us at the bus stop which was a short walk away and VERY easy to navigate. He was so helpful when we wanted to go explore other islands and if something wasn’t in the rental space he got it for us! Also, I wish the states took note of FLOATING SAUNAS!!! That was such a dream!

All good, train station close to the house. Kayak included really a plus.

What and incredible an serene Place Surround by beautiful nature. We really enjoyed the beautifull and well equipped House and Garden, and definitley have to come back!

We had a lovely time exploring Stockholm from our base in the Green House. The house is bright, airy and well-appointed with lots of space for family relaxation. We really appreciated having basic supplies - dishwashing tablets, toilet paper etc - all sorted as it’s always frustrating having to buy these when you’re on a short holiday. Johan was a super friendly and responsive host, resolving a minor glitch with the wifi within minutes of us being in touch through the app. He also had great recommendations for museums to visit with the children. With little kids the house is a good 15 minutes walk from the metro and then it is an easy ride to the centre of Stockholm (we would recommend getting a 24 or 72 hour pass). The only thing to be aware of is that the house is *very* light in summer - not all the windows have blinds and it is light from 4am, so worth bringing eye masks if you wake with the light!

It's a corner of paradise for those who love nature. The calm, the softness of the place, the view, everything is relaxing and conducive to contemplation. We had a refreshing stay as we dreamed of. We'd love to go back! The house is functional and it feels good. There is comfort. The hot tub is an amazing plus. If you like peace and quiet, this is a place for you.

We enjoyed an absolutely relaxing weekend at Olle’s beautiful hut at the lake. Our plan was to escape city life and enjoy nature, which we could do perfectly in the cozy hut. The access to the water and a sauna right next to it was all it took for us to feel like home and we enjoyed the time a lot and we felt like home. Perfect for reconnecting with nature, enjoy the beautiful garden and the amazing company of our two lovely hosts. Very easy going people and are down for a quick and interesting chat when you wish to. Very thoughtful and welcoming!

We stayed 4 nights in this beautiful house. The location is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet. Nevertheless, Stockholm and some nature reserves are easily accessible by car or bus. However, we used the well-equipped kitchen and the grill, so we cannot comment on restaurants. From our point of view, we highly recommend a stay!

Lennart and Chicki's house is a stunning stay. The view is just amazing and sitting watching the boats go by was so calming and relaxing. it's not far to drive to Saltsjõbaden where there are restaurants and cafes and a supermarket. It's best to have a car to stay here. The fact that it's slightly off the beaten path is the thing that makes it so special. The house has everything you need - comfy beds, great shower, big outdoor area, nice kitchen. Chicki was great to communicate with. I highly recommend staying here. Thanks for the lovely stay 🙂
