Casa Palometa was a wonderful stay for a group of 3 fisherman for a 8 day stay. The place was as described and Keith and Abby were very communicative and helpful in giving advice and recommendations. Moises, the point of contact in Xcalak was also incredibly helpful and helped us procure fresh fish from local fisherman for dinner. The place was clean on arrival and had plenty of extra sheets, blankets and towels to accommodate our length of stay. I'd highly recommend a stay here if you're thinking of visiting Xcalak, especially if you want to fish. Lodges are always expensive but there are plenty of DIY fishing opportunities in the area and many guides available to hire freelance for less than average.

One of the most amazing stays of my life!! This place is like out of a relaxing dream as the name so fittingly describes:) Acxel and his team are amazing! The vibe is just what you want on a vacation; relaxed yet they are still very conscientious & professional. As a solo female traveler, they made me feel safe and at home. I even snorkeled for several hours by myself and always felt safe as their deck had everyone facing the reef so they could see where I was. I snorkeled day & night because the reef is unBelizeable haha! It is the perfect temperature and visibility; just teeming with interactive marine life! I can't say enough about how excellent this stay was and only wish I had heard about it sooner so that I could've stayed longer! Will definitely dream to be back one day! A corner of calm and beauty. The house is just lovely. Each space is tastefully decorated, combining the rustic with the cozy, the natural with the functional. You can see the care in every detail: from the furniture to the lighting, everything invites you to feel comfortable and in peace. It's fully stocked, we didn't need anything. The kitchen, the common areas, the rooms... everything is designed so that you can enjoy without worrying about anything. The rooftop is a real privilege: spacious, private, and with a view that offers memorable moments. And access to the beach, so close, makes every day a unique experience. A perfect stay in every way. We would definitely be back.
