Vacation rentals with lake access in Kou-Kamma

Had a lovely stay at Candlewoods Cottage. The place is well equipped, spotless and very close to the beach and lagoon. Access is easy and hosts are friendly and communicative.

If you're looking for a place in Plett for a family holiday with young kids (ours are 9 & 6) then this is a superb house. Nice safe and peaceful complex, communal areas are clean, the pools are great, and the house has everything you need. BUT please note the 3rd outside bedroom is actually tiny. It's a double bed, right up against the wall. My parents (Granny and Granddad) also joined us and no way they could use that as a bedroom. They can't climb over each other to get out of bed! So they moved into the 2nd bedroom and our kids slept on mattresses on the floor for 10 nights. The outside room is perfect for 1 teenager/adult. The house is well equipped, and lots to do on rainy days. It definitely needs some TLC and in need of a modernization but overall a good family holiday house in Plett.

The location is beautiful and it is so peaceful surrounded with fields and hills. The horses greated us daily! The house is spacious and the kitchen is well equiped. It was a very homely atmosphere, thank you Waldo!

Well what can we say, it not often you arrive at a place and it's more beautiful then the photos. the house is absolutely stunning, a beautiful braii area and very clean pool we all had so much fun we didn't even want to go out. Each of the bedrooms are absolutely huge, the views from the upstairs balcony are stunning of the golf course. the kitchen is absolutely fantastic, fully equipped and clean. also a big bonus was how quietly you could walk around the house which is really great when there are sleeping children. We will absolutely definitely be back on our next visit to Plett. Thank you for making our holiday amazing with the use of your beautiful home.

We had such a great stay at Goose Valley. The unit was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed — from a full kitchen, an inverter for an unforeseen power outage to the verandah where we could relax while enjoying the view and a Weber braai. We especially loved the direct pathway to the lagoon for our morning walks. The neighbours were welcoming, and Lizette was incredibly helpful. Can’t recommend it enough — we’ll be back for sure!

Fabulous! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the accommodation was spotless, comfortable, and great value for money. The surroundings are out of this world - leaving us breathless ... the sound of the waves breaking in the distance gives Christa's place the edge ... it was wonderful. We very much enjoyed four nights in this flat. It is in a very safe area and very straight forward to access and live in. The highlights are a beautiful view to the golf course, a very nice pool (also with a stunning view) and everything you need for a short stay.

A very comfortable townhouse on a quiet relaxed complex. Everything there needed for a family holiday. A good sized pool for adults and a smaller children’s pool both had wonderful views towards the beach and Beacon Island hotel. Beaches and restaurants within walking distance. A very good Spar shop 2 minutes walk away. Highly recommended. We hope to stay longer next time. Mandy our host was very attentive and a great communicator.

The apartment was a perfect two night spot for us - close to Plett and the lagoon and we enjoyed the secure location.

We had a lovely stay in this vey well-equipped and immaculate apartment, with beautiful views across the sea. Shirley was an excellent host and has gone to great lengths to think of everything one might need while staying there. There were lots of little touches which made our stay there easier and more comfortable. I wish we had booked for longer! I would definitely recommend this apartment and would love to stay there again.

This bungalow transported us to our childhood holidays. As a family with 2 kids, we were so comfy and just loved this spot. Comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. Outdoor taps to wash off all the sand. Cute kitchen with everything you need, and a cozy lounge for card games. Lovely deck with bright red chairs that we assume resemble the colour of the Loerie's wings, that fly past everyday. Quick and easy to walk to the beach and the kids loved riding their bikes safely to the shop for ice creams. Endless activities, walking, biking, fishing, hiking, swimming, paddling. Honestly PARADISE on earth. The lagoon is beautiful but we loved the walk over to the sea against that huge mountain where the otter trail ends. The turquoise blue ocean was incredible. We cannot wait to come back to our new favourite place!

Great spot. Kids loved the surroundings and the Ratex gym was a bonus for them too.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wilhut. An awesome cabin all around with plenty amenities, privacy, and a super proactive and responsive host; Dale. It is a great spot with a lekke indoor and an outdoor fireplace to keep warm during the colder days. Not too far from town either.
