Joy's place is such a lovely and peaceful retreat! You can really tell how much love and attention she has put into making it special. It's quiet and absolutely beautiful. Plus, the river is just a short walk from her place —perfect for a little adventure!

Len and Linda’s place is peaceful and private. Amenities are nice, just as listed— with extras for a welcoming touch. Although there is no common room, just bedrooms, the large porch more than makes up for that. It is lovely sitting out on the large wraparound porch both mornings and evenings. Although we ate main meals elsewhere, there is a barbecue and grills for cooking. The second bathroom in the garage is nice if you’re in the second bedroom and don’t want to disturb those sleeping in the primary bedroom to get to the main bathroom. And everyone loved the strawberry candies. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Thank you Len and Linda.

This was a gorgeous and cozy retreat. The space was very clean and comfortable and the hot plate worked well for cooking simple things. Well stocked little kitchen and I really appreciated the air conditioning since there was a heat wave during my stay. Most of all I loved the private feel of the space and the picture windows overlooking beautiful madrone trees. And it was just minutes from the East Applegate Ridge Trail, with dramatic and iconic views at every turn. I would love to stay again.

The host was incredibly welcoming, and the place was really comfortable! If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll definitely try to stay here again. Thanks also for the awesome recommendation to check out Ferns Canyon!

The space was quiet, spotless, and felt very private—even though it’s an addition to the main house. It was also in a convenient location, just about a 10-minute drive from everything we wanted to do in the area. The host was incredibly responsive and even let us check in early, which was a lifesaver in the heat. No issues at all during our stay. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Redding!

Nancy set the bar for comparing all other Airbnbs. Communication was great and proactive. Checking in/out was very easy. This place has every accessory that you need to make you feel like you are at home. The two rooms are large and spacious and uncluttered. The Jacuzzi was a treat with foliage all around for a private experience. There was plenty of room for my wife and I and there was room for 1 more if needed. There were games, puzzles and books. We had fun playing some cribbage which we hadn't done in awhile. There is a new smart TV and a gas fireplace to warm things up. It helps to have transportation to get around. There is plenty of parking available. The place is a short walk to/from the airport if needed. Even though it is close to the airport, you cannot hear any airplane noise from this house. I am concerned about letting everyone know how great this place is because I want it to be available next time I am in town. Thank you Nancy for making our stay so pleasurable.

This place was just what we needed. It was comfy and cozy. Sarah took the time to place out an extra bed for us and it worked out great.

Gosh this is such a terrific spot! Super comfortable and easy to find After we arrived we relaxed on the little patio right outside the room and it was a charming and peaceful place to have a beer. We were tired from previous travel and slept like babies for 10 hours - it is such a relaxing place There was coffee for us in the morning, which was a thoughtful treat We had breakfast at the potbelly cafe the next day and they had an amazing breakfast sandwich, so make sure to go there if you can :) Thank you Torrie for your lovely hospitality ✨

I had a very enjoyable stay. Everything I wanted to see was within an hour or less. The room was clean, the location peaceful. An added bonus was the Hammond Trail, just across the street. Ella was very good about checking to make sure if I needed anything. I highly recommend to anyone who is wanting to visit the area, and have some peace and quiet too. 5 Stars!

This place was exactly as described and pictured. The hosts were extremely responsive and kind. It was the perfect stop over on our journey through the PNW. It is located in a quaint neighborhood and we enjoyed a lovely evening stroll, it was super quiet and we felt very safe. Highly recommend.

As when I stayed here last year with a friend, Eric proved to be a very accommodating host. The place is small with a limited kitchen but ample for simple meals and a cozy stay. I am a walker and appreciate that the location makes for a pleasant ramble through a residential neighborhood to downtown or a detour to the upper end of Lilith Park. I also love sitting, eating, and relaxing in the garden area.

Kylie was amazing. So easy to communicate with and super friendly. Felt like chatting with a friend. She was responsive and helped with any questions we had.

This place is private and quiet. I recommend it because it’s clean and I felt safe and that is most important to me. The beach was close by and so were the Redwoods. I definitely plan to return when I have more time!

Very comfortable and easy… just what I was looking for. Private entry with clear directions made for easy check in. Plants and flowers surrounded the outdoor patio made it aesthetically pleasing. Very responsive and accommodating! I’m very happy to have found this place and the person to Airbnb from. Friendly, easy, responsive. Would stay again 100%.

Great space, cute and private. It had a small dinette area and everything you need. Small fridge, dishes, utensils, Keurig and coffee pods, etc The linens were clean and smelled great (I’m picky) :) Huge smart TV. Overall, great value for the space. Very sweet family. Thanks for having me.

Beautiful peaceful surroundings allowed us to enjoy the nature all around the cottage. Inside we found everything to make our stay very comfortable. Having a fast EV charger was a plus! We also appreciated the opportunities to compost and recycle. Fresh eggs from Rosemary”s chickens were the best!

Christina was an excellent host and her spot is exactly as described; peaceful, beautiful and scenic. She was very helpful in letting me know the various activities to do around the area. The pool and hot tub were fantastic and the massive oak tree as a part of our view was breathtaking. Highly recommend!

My sister and I traveled to Redding to visit our sick grandparents, it was a trip we wernt looking forward too due to the circumstances…but honestly coming home to this rental was what we needed. Clean, quiet, and just what we needed to decompress from our day. I would highly recommend staying here, Marc was a great host.

We had a wonderful stay at the Octopus Suite! It was plenty spacious for 2 of us, very clean, and had everything we could have needed and more. Karen was an incredible host - communicative and provided so much helpful information about the suite, the area, etc. There we so many thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The patio/firepit area overlooking the cove was such a bonus. We wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend if you want a quiet, comfortable place to serve as your home-base for exploring Brookings and the southern coast (and we went down to see the Redwoods too - so close!).
