The cabin was wonderful, right next to a super clear steam complete with ducks 😊. Very well outfitted, comfortable sleeping and great blankets! Very close to Crater Lake!

Very quiet and peaceful. Lots to do around Bend and we wish we could have stayed longer. Hot tub and billiard table were a great addition to our trip down the west coast. Highly recommend.

Peaceful place close to Lassen national park and mount shashta area. It’s a 10 minute drive to all restaurants in Redding. Highly recommend it!

Words and photos don't do this place justice. It's unbelievably stunning. We arrived after a long drive down the coast from Portland and just sat and stared the sunset and Pig Rock. In the morning, we walked the trails and drove down to the river. It's an incredibly peaceful and relaxing setting and we all agreed it was the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in. Kali was very quick to reply to text messages and as we were leaving we ran into Joe, who was super friendly and kind. The cabin isn't that far off 101, but you feel like you have left the world behind. Highly recommend and very much hope that we can go back someday!

We’ve stayed in multiple cabins & Alison’s Lassen Cabin exceeded our expectations. Clean, spacious, bug-free & very welcoming from the moment you walk in the door. Great location for getting to Lassen Volcanic National Park. You’ll melt into the bed after a long day on the trails. The cabin is stocked with the essentials you need to make yourself for feel right at home. The indoor wood burning fire stove was the cherry on top! All around, a perfect place for some rest & relaxation. Would highly recommend :)

I've just spent 4 wonderful nights in Caroline and Stuart's "barndominium", a converted carriage house on their wonderful property steps away from the short, charming street that runs through the center of Ferndale. I was alone, but I was excited to show pictures to my family, who was traveling elsewhere. "So aesthetic!", my daughter kept repeating. So true. Caroline and Stuart have thought of everything. If you are thinking of visiting northern California, whether to visit the redwoods, visit a college, or stop on your way north or south, stay here. You'll want to stay longer. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. Thank you Caroline and Stuart.

Wonderful place to stay for a short vacation. Close to everything with beautiful views of the valley. The airstream was cozy and warmed up nicely in the cold weather. Had most everything we needed and was clean. The bed was comfortable. Would recommend, especially if you are accustomed to staying in tiny spaces.

My family and I recently stayed at Paula’s Place. The home is exactly as pictured; very clean and spacious! Paula was great with communication and was very responsive. We were fortunate to see deer and horses nearby.. truly so peaceful! We hope to stay at this wonderful home again in the future!

Lovely place. The directions from the host are very helpful-our GPS alone got us close but not quite there. One quick warning-the bathroom doors are sliding barn style doors and don’t lock. This is absolutely fine if you’re with other adults-they stay closed if you leave them alone-but a child, or in our case, a small dog with separation anxiety, can leave you with some unexpected exposure that could be a little awkward. I was very glad we were meeting family, not staying with them. That aside, the cottage was lovely. It has a small fenced area that was awesome to let us and the beasties hang out off leash.

I’ve stayed at tons of Air BnB’s over the years and Dorothy’s place is one of the best! Any issues or questions that came up were answered promptly and kindly! Beautiful house on a beautiful property. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Great spot for exploring Eureka and nearby parks. Loved the 70s theme, free samples, and communing with the cats and goats. Place is well equipped and was very quiet while we were there. We didn’t get to meet the hosts, but they were great to deal with in the app. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks!

The home is located in a quiet neighborhood & easy to get anywhere in town. Good base for exploring the Redwoods. Super comfy bed, plenty of cooking utensils & home looked just like the listing picks. Would stay again if visiting the area.

What a magical retreat Amy and Miles have created! My 12-year-old daughter and I stayed a couple of nights before she headed to summer camp, and it was the perfect spot for quality bonding time. Maddie, their sweet brown Lab, greeted us warmly upon our arrival and kept us company throughout our stay. Amy was an exceptional hostess, leaving us a lovely handwritten note and thoughtful gemstones that made us feel truly welcomed. The separate cabins are both unique and practical, equipped with everything we needed. We loved discovering delightful touches like olive oil and flaked sea salt, fresh herbs, vases of cut flowers, and ice-cold Capri Suns that my daughter enjoyed! Amy and her lovely mom, who was visiting, graciously took us on a hike around their property, which was an absolute pleasure. They were both so knowledgeable and fun! I can’t wait to spend more time in this peaceful haven and explore the area further before picking up my daughter from camp. I’m truly charmed!

Really enjoyed the stay. Enjoyed the sunset and then heading in for a night in the cozy cottage. It just felt like home.

This stay had everything we could have wanted for an evening stop on a highway 101 road trip. Plenty of space to stretch out in a charming farmhouse with any amenity needed. We enjoyed our evening by the fire pit and were greeted upon arrival by a very friendly heard of animals. Fresh eggs and firewood upon request. Pamela was warm and inviting, thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful retreat!

Had a wonderful time , didn't spend much time in the location due to my daughter graduating. But the presuer of the shower amazing love love it.

Another 3 month stay in this absolutely beautiful "hideaway". Peaceful surroundings, easy access to the I5 corridor or the coast. Lots of wildlife walking around. All the accommodations you need for a long stay.

The Sweet Rose Cottage is more like Home Sweet Home. We have stayed twice and this is no doubt our favorite family home away from home! It is spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated. The beds are so comfortable and we love the linens! There are so many great details like the huge claw tub (great for soaking after a day of rafting the Rogue). Or standing in the kitchen looking out at the rose garden as the sun slowly sets. But the very best is making coffee using the wonderful Juro espresso machine and sitting on the beautiful back patio watching the sunrise as it lights up the farmland. Magical!! We can’t wait to come back. This home has it all!

My family and I stayed here during our trip to see the redwoods. Ferndale was such a beautiful place, and the house was lovely. The hosts were so friendly, and arranged to drop off freshly baked cookies, cheese and cream from their dairy. My girls loved the hot tub and walking to see the ponds. The house was well stocked, and so beautiful. We wished we had a little more time to have been able to fit in a tour of their dairy and more time in town to visit the lovely shops and restaurants.

We absolutely loved Sally's cottage! It was just perfect for us and our 4 kiddos! Everything was clean and yard nicely manicured. Their pig is just the sweetest. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, so don't be fooled by some of the surrounding houses. We would love to stay again! Not to mention they are just the best hosts! Offering fresh eggs, muffins and dessert. My family greatly appreciated it.
