We spent a week working from here with our dog, and had a lovely time! Sabrina is such a thoughtful host, she went out of her way in making sure we had everything needed to be comfortable. She is very responsive and gracious. Black rock beach is a gem of a beach and super close and walkable. We loved walking our dog there. The backyard of the house itself was gorgeous and we enjoyed the hot tub too :) Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway along the Oregon coast!

Perfect place all around.

Our stay at the cottage was wonderful! Cindy was the best host and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and comfortable, right down to the cake she provided for our anniversary. The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. If we find ourselves in the area again, we’ll be sure to reach back out!

We loved staying at Linda’s cabin. It was close to redwood national and state parks and was very comfortable. The outdoor space was nice and we sat out there for our meals and also enjoyed the small hot tub. We would stay there again.

We loved our stay at Pauline's place. You could tell that Pauline strives to be proactive, intentional and transparent with her space, which helps ensure a smooth trip and a great stay! As a fellow host, I appreciate that she thought of everything to both create a comfortable space and answer any questions that may have come up during our visit, right off the bat! I brought my Dad up from Texas to visit the Redwoods for his 70th birthday. The Fortuna location was the perfect spot for visiting both the Humboldt State Parks in the South and The State & National Redwoods park in the North, along with visits to Trinidad, Ferndale & Eureka on the way. After long days of hiking, the hot tub and bath tub with a view were a dream! We slept so good (Dad loved the daybed and I had the "queen's room") and enjoyed the fresh eggs :)

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. The space is on a bluff overlooking the ocean, so the views are amazing. We spent many nights in the hot tub, which was a huge plus. This space had every possible item you could need, from nail polish remover to board games. This is one of the best Airbnbs I have ever stayed at, and would highly recommend this place to anyone.

nice 2 bedroom 2 bath functional space. tucked inside a quiet wooded lot. perfect for my family's 1 night stay during our road trip through the state parks. simple space, very clean, was very comfortable. 10 minutes to town. followed Google GPS to the listed address and it's the smaller single blue house on the lot.

Great place for us to bed down for the night on a family road trip. The shower is great with good water pressure and temperature and the bed was comfortable. It’s small but has a very open space and as a family of 3, we could have easily spent multiple days here with how they have it set up. It’s in a very residential area with a lot of homes around, but very quiet and we felt very safe. My 7 year old says 8 out of 5 stars!

Fantastic place to stay in the Heart of the Redwoods. So many great trails nearby, and the ocean is only a few miles away as well. Well-stocked kitchen came in very useful. Would definitely recommend staying here 👍 . Felt like we got great value for the price we paid.

Our stay at the cottage was amazing! The location was perfect for driving to Crater Lake and other nature spots, and we so enjoyed its close proximity to spring creek. Having access to kayaks to use on the creek was an amazing bonus. The cottage was also very clean and well supplied for all of our needs. Would recommend to anyone travelling to Southern Oregon!

It was a very cozy stay, nestled in a serene area right near the ocean. I really appreciated the attention to detail and the individual pieces of consideration, including the lovely music that played as we entered the cottage. It really set the tone for such a nice and peaceful stay.

Was a great stay! House was nice, clean, and as described. Close proximity to restaurants, and other shops and have great views of Shasta.

I’ve had this place on my wishlist for a few years now, and I finally got a chance to check it out. It did not disappoint! Every inch of Matt’s cottage is a work of art! There are so many cool things to discover around every corner! The tub on the back porch is an absolute dream! Matt’s cottage is across the street from a breathtaking beach and right around the corner from the best fish and chips I’ve ever had (at the Crazy Norwegian). Port Orford is a tiny, but beautiful town with incredibly friendly people, including Matt who is probably the chillest host on AirBnB! We would love to come back and stay longer!

Perfect space for our family. Close to the ocean, the Redwood parks and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

All aspects of our stay were terrific. My husband and I were joined by our 30-year old son for two nights. The house was spotless with many thoughtful touches (opener for fence, recycling bin, plenty of towels, basic seasonings, small real half and half condiments, nice seating and dining areas, outdoor picnic table, seating in front deck, comfortable bedding). The nearness of the redwood forest with walking trails was one reason I chose this spot, and it was a truly beautiful way to spend a morning or afternoon. Gypsy greeted us upon arrival and accommodated an earlier check in (we were coming from a long road trip). We'd stay here again when in the Arcata!

There are only positives. The house is clean, spacious, beautifully appointed with everything you could need. As others say, the on-demand coffee maker & the imported Swiss beans make for an easy, delicious coffee experience. The beds are comfortable. The showers have plenty of pressure & hot water. You can take a short walk to see chickens, llamas, donkeys, horses & a pond. It is a working farm. We saw hay baling. The backyard has plenty of seating for either sun or shade. Take that cup of coffee out to the Adirondack chairs & get some morning sun. We attended a family wedding in Jacksonville. A very cute town that is maybe a 5 min drive. This is the best of both worlds, close to a town but the quiet of the country. The house fit 4 adults & an 11 year old boy quite comfortably.

This is a great location if you want to be right near downtown Ashland! It is easy to walk to Lithia Park, restaurants, groceries, shops, etc. Very quaint, rustic and relaxing, right next to Ashland Creek and fun little art galleries. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy and artistic! The place is suitable for couples. Very tastefully set up. There may be mosquitoes though which may bother but that should be expected when you visit countryside.

Perfect Stay. Private and pleasant, the cottage was well appointed with excellent taste. The location was close to town though with little traffic or congestion. It is what we have sought in the Ferndale communnity. We shall return.

This place was very cozy and nice. It felt safe and it was a quiet neighborhood. Overall, couldn’t ask for much more. Amenities were amazing and the host was phenomenal. Highly recommend!

My husband and I were on our honeymoon road trip through California and this was the perfect place to stop! The location was far enough away from the city, but close enough that we could pop back in when we needed to. The house itself was like walking into your own home. Very well maintained and very clean. Our hosts were also super friendly and helpful! Very quick to reach out as soon as we booked and quick to get us information about the property. They also have binders of information about the area! You can peruse through the binders while chilling in front of the beautiful fireplace. I couldn't be happier with our choice to stay here. We would definitely come back here!
