Original fixtures from the time when the lighthouses with family lived in the lighthouse. The house is just the right size, newly renovated and furnished with original furniture classics from Scandinavia. In the house next door, baking is still done the old-fashioned way and on Friday there is a queue to secure the weekend's bread. Here you live close to the center with short distances. Pulpit Rock 10 minutes to parking. Read the reviews from past guests. The views are striking, the place is sheltered from traffic and noise. Sun until 22:20 on the longest days. Settle down for several days and go on great hikes and mountain peaks from the exit door. Five minutes hike away you can swim in a river with fresh mountain water. The Benedikte house on architect-designed Svindland farm

The Benedikte house is about 10 min drive from Egersund city center and about 5 min from E39. We have attempted to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the courtyard of the Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock that runs freely. The house is very modern and well-equipped.
