Family-friendly vacation rentals in Idaho Springs

Our stay was great. The place was perfect for my boyfriend and I. The bed was really comfy and cozy. I really appreciated the small details, like things we might need around the studio. For example toiletries, small snacks, maps, etc. There isn't a "kitchen" but the fridge, microwave, and water kettle were perfect for what we needed. We didn't get a chance to check out the hot tub, because we were too busy exploring the surrounding areas. The location was perfect for day trips to surrounding open spaces, Estes Park, Rocky Mountain Nat. Park, Boulder, and Idaho Springs. We even saw a Moose and her baby on our way home from dinner only about 10 mins from town. Nederland is a cute little town with shops and restaurants. Our hosts were so friendly, and made great recommendations. We also thoroughly enjoyed meeting their lovable dog, Amen. We loved saying hello to the chcickens and ducks on our way in and out of the studio.Definitely recommend this studio to anyone traveling to the area.

No words can express how cool this spot is - and Jim makes it 10x better. He goes out of the way - truly - to make your stay worth it. It’s my second time staying here and there’s a reason for that! The location, the accommodations, the fun/funky Colorado vibe - it’s all so so so good. You legit couldn’t ask for a better host!

Do not pass up this hidden gem! If you want peace and quiet, beautiful surroundings, and love fishing and water activities, book it now! Our hosts were amazing and the lakehouse was everything we wanted for our staycation. Every day (our stay was the end of May) we saw moose, blue heron, deer, humminbirds and a variety of other wild birds. The hot tub was perfect and the house has everything you need to cook your own meals, grill and just relax. We will most definitely be back!

Amazing stay! Jeff’s place was the perfect spot for our weekend ski trip. Only 10 min from Keystone, and less than 30 min to Breckinridge and Vail. Super cozy place with all the amenities you could need: fireplace, amazing view, public hot tube and sauna, board games and more! Would definitely stay here again. :)

We had an amazing stay at this cozy spot in Winter Park! The location was ideal just minutes from the downtown area, but still tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. The space was clean, well-stocked, and exactly as described. After long days of exploring and chilling in the hot tub the lovely view of the mountains off the back deck made it the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Tuckaway cabin was a perfect getaway for my family! Everything exceeded our expectations. Every amenity was accounted for, stocked and organized. Cabin was super clean, beds were comfortable, wifi was flawless, hot tub was awesome…I could go on! One thing I will add: as a grilling man, I was in my happy place when I discovered the gas grill was brand new with a full propane tank! Tina and her team were such gracious hosts. They were very proactive in their communication and went out of their way to ensure our every need was met. Highly recommend - easily the best experience we’ve had renting a cabin in Colorado.

Absolutely stunning place to stay. We were greeted every morning to the most beautiful sunrise on the lake. We enjoyed the hot tub every morning and we had it all to ourselves. The pictures and descriptions were spot on for the place and didn’t even do it justice. Jeannie was so responsive got back to me immediately when I had questions. We are hoping to stay here again because we absolutely loved it that much. The kitchen is completely stocked with everything you would need to prepare and cook your own food. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a home away from home.

Beautiful home between the mountains and the city with plenty opportunities to treck,shop eat and above all relax in this cosy and well equipped apartment attached to Meredith's home .The place was full of charm with comfortable bed ,well equipped kitchen area and bathroom with the added bonus hot tub in the patio.A great place to relax after hiking and exploring .We would highly recommend this property if you are heading to Boulder to experience the mountains and the lively city just north of Denver.Meridith and Alan were wo nderful hosts and went over and above to make our stay a most wonderful one.

Great condo and great location! The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the pool was a huge perk. I appreciated Roger’s great communication, always sending tidbits before I needed info—for checkin, for pool access, etc. I would definitely recommend and stay again!

This location was absolutely gorgeous! It was hard to tell where the actual entrance was because it was around the back, but besides that it was an absolutely amazing place to stay. Definitely considering coming back again soon!

Scott was very responsive anc his place was very clean! The kitchen was fully stocked, and the third floor deck was a great place to eat and look at the mountains! Cute little Airbnb, would book again if I was in the area.

We stayed almost 2 weeks, had everything we needed, variety of stores nearby, lots of parks, elk came through property and deer, easy drive into Denver, would definitely stay here again. Thanks to our hosts for taking good care of this cabin.

We had a fantastic time staying at glorious cabin. My wife and I and both of our dogs stayed there for nearly two weeks. Both her and her husband were always very responsive to my messages when I asked for something, and we felt like we were part of their family. Their location is very peaceful and I found it very easy to get my work done as a remote worker. The internet was strong , which allowed me to take my meetings and get my work done. I felt safe and I felt my belongings were secure. We took full advantage of the outside kitchen.That's where we made nearly all of our meals. They have 2 dogs that were very friendly to us.And they were a joy to see every morning. Every morning the ducks would walk the property and that was fun to watch. Beautiful views. It was close to a farm stand as well which we drove too nearly every day to get some snacks. It was also less than 15 minutes from grocery stores and other things that I needed.

Stephanie’s home was perfect. Although it was deeply tucked in the mountains she gave perfectly clear written instructions on how to find it which were very accurate. Although there was no snow we still took her recommendation and rented a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get to the house and it was definitely the right decision. The location is even better in person with views that are so worth it. Very peaceful and quiet area and a really nice home which was very comfortable and clean. We had a great stay here and will definitely consider her home again the next time we are in CO

I absolutely loved this cabin! Melany and Blake have the house set up perfectly, anything you need this house has it. The views were amazing and I will definitely be back here. Felt like home.

Best spot in town for skiing peak 7. Steps from BreckConnect Gondola that goes to Peak 8 and Main Street downtown to restaurants and shopping.

One of my all time favorite places to stay in the Mountains! We always have a great time and such a great host!

Incredibly quiet, dark for sleeping, wonderful mountainside neighborhood, within walking distance of some good restaurants and town. We took daily walks with our dog and we loved the availability of short or long hikes. Great communications and overall a perfect place for my husband and I with our dog. We hope to make it back as we love Frisco! Thank you so much! Great host!

The location was perfect with beautiful views from the bedrooms - very short drive to ski resorts! The condo was well stocked and very comfortable. We also took advantage of the pool and hot tub, after skiing!

Last minute booked the place and Kent was super fast and responsive. Gave well detailed advice and instructions. View was amazing and we had no problems our entire stay. Would definitely come back.

Laurie’s spot is absolutely perfect! The views are unbeatable, offering a stunning panorama of the lake and mountains. It’s conveniently located near RiverRun Village and Dillon, making it easy to explore. We had a great time skiing, walking around the lake, and even swimming. The condo was incredibly clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!
