Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Iceland

We rented two rooms in Lóas house as a family with two kids. Rooms and beds were very nice and the house was clean.

The room is great but honestly, the host is what makes this place worth it! Loved my too short night there. Thank you!

Very homy, just as described and shown in the pictures, easy in and out, clean comfy room, near the bathroom.

Felt like home away from home. Highly recommended Very nice property clean and tidy. Great communication. Close enough to central eod selfoss but in a nice and quiet area. it is about an hour away from Reykjavík and it is 1 hour 40 min to Vik helping to break up the golden circle.

Swany's guest house is an experience, not just an accommodation! From the second you arrive, you know you're in a special place that tells a life story and just hugs you the moment you walk through the door. It's truly a slice of Heaven on earth! From listening to the whales chuff in the fjord whether walking outside, sitting in the hot springs-fed hot tub, or just through your open window, to enjoying down time in the meditation room looking out over a field of wildflowers, to sipping your coffee overlooking the snow capped mountains in the distance... this place is truly magical and Swany herself is a total gem of a human being! She makes you feel like family and I absolutely loved hearing a few tales from her life's adventures! She even supplied some birthday candles and helped us celebrate our son's 14th birthday while there! Thank you Swany for your incredible hospitality and kindness!

We had a great stay at Kristina's place. Everything very tidy and when we had a small issue understanding the door mechanism, we got help immediately!! Would stay happily there any time again.

Truly one of the coolest places we’ve ever stayed at. We loved it. Mikael was great and told us some great stories when we got there. The hot tub was awesome too.

Wir waren im Mai für 2 Nächte da und waren sehr zufrieden. Alles war wie beschrieben, gut ausgestattet und der Check in war einfach. Die Unterkunft war gut zu finden und inmitten wunderschöner Natur. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. :)

We really liked place and can recommend it. The hosts are very nice. The landscape around the farm is incredible.

Our stay in Öxnadalur was one of the most impressive we’ve ever had. The house was charming and we felt immediately at home. The surrounding nature and view on the mountains is breathtaking! We spent hours sipping coffee at the fire place, while the wind and snow were howling outside or watching beautiful northern lights right in front of the door. Sif and Oli were always very helpful when we were asking for any help or recommendations. It is definitely worth a visit and a real adventure in winter times.

A wonderful stay. Enjoyed the easy access and well appointed rooms and kitchen. Just perfect for our group of four. Very easy access to the ferry to Grímsey Island. Would highly recommend this to anyone who is exploring the area.
