Guðfinna’s place was very nice and comfortable. She is an amazing host and the view from her porch was heavenly. She has a cat of 13yr old, Cleopatra who loves to cuddle. I totally recommend this without second thoughts.

Tina and Torfi are truly warm people who love to welcome others into their B and B and into their lives. The units are a part of the house and there is always a very welcoming, happy atmosphere and much humor and discussion. The bedrooms and shared bathrooms are very tidy and comfortable and clean, especially the bathrooms. For folks wanting to be off the beaten path and looking for relatively cheap lodging, you won't find a better jumping off point than Freyja! Tina and Torfi also are extremely helpful with local sightseeing tips and we went almost everywhere they sent us, much to our satisfaction. This includes some places not known about wisely by tourists. All in all a great experience!

If you are looking for a remote place to stay at, go fishing, or just relax, it’s perfect.

We were warmly welcomed by our host despite our late arrival, and we had good recommendations for visits. The accommodation is in a good location, close to the airport 10 min by car. The bedroom is clean and the bedding comfortable. The breakfast offered in the morning is a very nice extra. I recommend it!

Everything was just perfect. Very nice room and bathroom and we had also opportunity to use laundry what we really appreciated because all our stuff was completely wet (raining whole day). Inga and her husband were so nice and helpful and also gave us some tips what to visit. Breakfast was very good. Thank you so much!

We had a fantastic stay at Þóra and Ivan's home! They were so friendly and helpful and we felt so welcomed and at home. We really couldn't fault our experience, it was the highlight of of stay in Iceland. It's really a beautiful place (about 10 minutes outside Akureyri) with fantastic views and we even saw the northern lights right over head on the second night! The house has been thoughtfully designed by the hosts, it is warm, cozy and stylish. Breakfast was great with home made bread and waffles and a great selection of tea. Beds were really comfy :) Stay here if you can, what Þóra and Ivan offer is the pinnacle of Air B&B experiences!

Had a lovely stay with Þórarinn. Absolutely beautiful surroundings and a comfortable bed at the end of a long day exploring Iceland. Would definitely recommend.

Had a nice stay in the guesthouse. Everything is brand new, really comfortable shower and bed. Breakfast is ready the night before so you can take it the next day whenever you want.

Accommodation as described. Breakfast is included, varied and hearty. Pleasant and welcoming staff. Code to close the bedroom door very unsecured: the one in the bedroom has a number. It's very surprising.

Absolutely amazing!!! This was our one airbnb to break up a campervan trip around the whole ring road and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The food was all homemade and delicious, especially the bread and waffles. Our host was so lovely and showed us around the farm where we had such a great time meeting the sheep and horses! After passing by so many in Iceland, it was a real treat to be able to pet and see the horses up close. The spaces were perfect as well, nice big rooms with an attached bathroom. Fridge and freezer space, laundry, coffee, tea, and a warm welcome from the family dog, we can’t wait to come back! <3

Sonja accommodation is great value, Blönduós is a beautiful place and her accommodation is also very nice, the facilities are modern and clean and there is lot’s of space to relax and read, Sonja also very kindly let me have breakfast at 5.30am in the morning as I needed an early start on the morning of my stay, also provided are traditional Icelandic slippers that I thought were very cool.

The house was clean and tidy, even though reservation was made very late at that day, contact with the owners (Dagmar and her husband) was very quick and helpful. Good place for overnight stay.
