Great for outdoor hiking to amazing places and great dark spot in the winter for Northern Lights viewing. A 4x4 is recommended to access the house in the winter.

Our vacation cabin is secluded, yet not far from the small town of Kirkjubæjarklaustur. A small and cozy cabin, with one bedroom with a double bed and a sleeping loft. The cabin is small and the sleeping loft is not with a full height so adults might find it cramped, so it might be better suited for a family of 4. This is the perfect base for visiting the South Coast of Iceland, with short driving distance to f.ex Fjarðárgljúfur, Skaftafell National Park and the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.
