Vacation rentals with a patio in Iceland

It was in great location, place was very nice, and host was very helpful.

Such a lovely place! It was spotless, well-decorated and felt like a home away from home. The host added thoughtful touches that made the stay extra special. Would happily come back!

The apartment is large and very comfortable. The host calls it a studio, but it feels more like a 1-bedroom appartment, because there are three areas - a large kitchen, a bedroom (there is no door which would make it completely private, but most of it is behind a wall separating it from the kitchen), and a dan/office with a writing deck. The street is very quiet, and there is plenty of free street parking right in front of the building. The apartment is tastefully decorated and has all the necessary amenities. We didn't use the hot tub, but it is available and is easily accessible from the apartment. This apartment is a great choice if you need to stay in Keflavik overnight (e.g., flying out the next day or starting your tour around the island the next day), or could also serve as a good base to explore the areas around the Blue Lagoon and the Reykjanes Peninsula.

L’appartement est bien situé, dans un quartier neuf en plein développement, à proximité des magasins, des restaurants ainsi que de le musée des Sagas. Bien équipé, il offre un cadre sûr où l’on peut dormir paisiblement. Le service client est réactif avant, pendant et après le séjour. Je le recommande !

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in der Wohnung. Sie war sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet,was wir benötigt haben. Laufdistanz bis zur Hallgrimskirka sind 15 Minuten und wir konnten das Auto gut kostenlos an der Unterkunft parken. Wir würden hier definitiv wieder übernachten!

Jon was a great host! Really helpful and easy to communicate with. The apartment was very nice, comfortable and in a great location. We were just 2-3 blocks from great restaurants, bars and shopping.

We stayed 2 nights on Viktoria’s farm. It was a peaceful and relaxing location; comfortable and clean. We enjoyed bird watching and walking on the trails. We were able to make breakfasts and dinner easily with what’s available. Beds were very comfortable as well. Overall a lovely place to stay. Good location for day trips to Dragsnes and Holmavik. There is also a hotel close by that had excellent dinner.

We had a great visit, and we loved this Airbnb! It was conveniently located, and it had plenty of space for our family of five! We would most definitely stay here again!

Had a really nice stay here on our last night in Iceland. I was very glad to find this place that would accommodate my family of 8 in this rural setting. Wanted to stay close to the national park, and there were not many options other than this. The place was better than I was expecting/pics led on. I was worried we would be cramped, but that was not the case. Other than one of the bedrooms, plenty of space. On that bedroom, I knew going in it would be tight based on pics. In spite of being a bit cramped, not a big deal. Slept fine in that room, and everyone in general slept fine. Main floor was roomier than i thought. Plenty of room in kitchen and other rooms for all. Kids loved the place. Not too far from murals and ocean. Only issue i had was no shampoo in the place. No idea if I knew that before and forgot or should have known it, but it surprised me. Not a big deal. I did not inquire about it either as I was in a hurry. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We had a great time in Ari’s property. Everything is perfect and fully equipped, it is a warm and beautiful place. We walked around and also feed horses, it was fun. We will definitely come again if we visit Iceland in the future.

Such a pristine setting and view! This was such a quaint village with the kindest people. The weather was not as we expected and Thora brought us some lovely pastries and waffle ingredients plus a puzzle! This was far above and beyond! The view and setup of the house was beyond compare. It’s within 100ft of the local restaurant that has incredible food. Also within a few blocks of the fantastic geothermal bath house. Overall a wonderful stay. We will be back

A beautiful, peaceful setting, with stunning views. Kathrin and her husband let us know when the northern lights appeared one evening and helped us with the settings on our i-phone so we could take the best pictures. Very appreciative or their help. We highly recommend their quiet cottage.

We loved Sisi's place! Our group of 6 had plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked, the property was beautiful and peaceful! We loved watching the sheep and goats and gorgeous sunset! It was also very close to a few big waterfalls that we enjoyed late in the evening, as we took advantage of the long daylight hours and avoided the crowds. Definitely recommend Sisi's cute, cozy place!

Jon's place was breathtaking! This was the perfect spot to explore the surrounding areas. We loved all the nature surrounding our family of 5. We loved watching all the lambs scurry around, the river from almost every angle, the canyon and waterfall and even the neighbor dogs came by to say hi. I would totally recommend Jon's place to anyone wanting a home base to explore Vik to the south and diamond beach areas to the north.

This House was a really Great Choice. It is a Little Bit further away from the ringroute but that made it really quiet and scenic too. It still is easy to reach and you have everything you need close by. I highly recommend to take a detour to this City it is really worth it. Herdís was a really helpful and friendly Host. If im ever going to visit Iceland again I make sure to take a stop there again.

I wish we could have stayed here for a week. Or a month. Such a beautiful home in a beautiful location. Great design and architecture. Happy little signs of family life but also spacious and accommodating. Both secluded and close to Akureyri. Only regret is that I didn’t try out one of the many hammocks on the property. Loved taking a small watercolor, painted by the host’s mother, home as a reminder of our stay.

Vi var supernöjda med vår vistelse! Lägenheten var stor och snyggt inredd, alla bekvämligheter fanns. Värden svarade snabbt på frågor. Att få bada i utomhuspoolen var underbart! Utsikten mot Hekla och vackra hästar i förgrunden är svår att slå! Kommer vilja bo här igen om jag kommer tillbaks till Island.

The Airbnb was easily accessible and well equipped with washing machine, dryer and fully equipped kitchen. There was also a designated parking spot for your vehicle. Magnus was responsive and extremely helpful in answering any queries. Would recommend this place

Wir könnten nicht glücklicher sein. Es war für uns der letzte Stopp unserer Winterreise und die Gemütlichkeit der Unterkunft hätte uns fast nicht mehr nach Hause fliegen lassen. Die Wohnung ist noch schöner als auf den Fotos und das einfache Leben durch die unmengen an Gewürzen, Tees, Kaffee hat das entspannte Erlebnis abgerundet. Man sollte keine Schwierigkeiten mit (wenn auch kurzen) steilen Treppen haben. Für uns eine ganz klare 10/10! Wir kommen gerne wieder, sollten wir nochmal nach Island reisen. Vielen Lieben Dank für Alles und die tolle Kommunikation!

We had a great stay at Unnur's apartment. It was a perfect base for our adventures around Reykjavik. The location was very close to downtown (10min drive), walking distance to the Sky Lagoon (highly recommended) and having free parking was a lovely amenity. The apartment itself was lovely - bright, clean and well appointed - and the host, Unnur was excellent - very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a nice quiet location just outside of the city centre.

What an absolutely wonderful Airbnb experience. The apartment was beautiful and super-clean, and the view was stunning! We loved looking out the window at the ocean in the evenings, and we took a lovely walk along the seafront one morning. We took day trips to the Golden Circle and the Snaefellsnes peninsula, and we were an easy drive from Reykjavik. Best of all, Salvor Lilja and her husband were amazing hosts. We enjoyed a sunset soak in the hot tub, and they very kindly provided a selection of beverages and Icelandic treats. They also very thoughtfully left the apartment stocked with amenities like coffee, tea, milk, beer, wine and chocolates. We would highly recommend to anyone!
