Holbox es una pequeña isla y todas sus calles son de arena por lo que si llueve es probable que hayan charcos en las calles. La isla está rodeada de manglar por lo que es probable encuentres algo de fauna, recomendamos llevar repelente.

De lejos uno de los mejores airbnb que he rentado, nos encantó mucho a todos y el lugar es precioso, mucho mejor que en las fotos. Aparte el servicio es excelente, nos recibieron con bebidas y agua fría para tomar. Nos dejaron todo para estar cómodos. Gracias a la anfitriona que es una gran persona.

Drie dagen met mijn vriend verbleven. We kwamen eerder aan mochten onze spullen tot de tijd om in te checken, achterlaten in haar eigen huis. Erg aardig van de eigenares! Het appartement was netjes en schoon. Het hoognodige was in de keuken aanwezig. Er was een ventilator en airconditioning aanwezig, wat er prettig was met het warme weer. De achterzijde had een balkon waar je fijn kon zitten met zn tweeën. Een extra nacht bijboeken bij de eigenares zelf, was geen probleem en via de app zo geregeld. Erg fijn! De laatste dag vertrokken we later van het eiland en mochten we zo lang weer de spullen bij de eigenares laten, waardoor we daar geen zorgen over hoefden te maken. De airbnb ligt erg centraal, maar rustig. Vlakbij een leuk en betaalbaar restaurant 'Africa', waar we geregeld hebben gegeten. Al met al erg tevreden en een erg vriendelijke en flexibele eigenares.

Looks exactly like the pictures! Only thing is there is no where to put your luggage once in the room and there is no full length mirror, very minor things. Really excellent service from the front desk!!! Everyone is super nice and helpful, rooms are very clean and around a 5 minute walk from restaurants/coffee shops. 2 minute walk from the dog shelter where you can take a pup on a walk! Beach is around a 5 minute walk as well. Hotel is very quiet and relaxing.

Sin duda, un excelente lugar. Todo estaba muy limpio y las fotos coinciden. La ubicación es ideal: puedes llegar caminando a la playa, y justo abajo hay un restaurante donde, como huésped, obtienes un descuento. Además, hay varios restaurantes y bares muy cerca. La experiencia en general fue muy buena, y definitivamente recomendaría este lugar tanto para estancias cortas como largas. Como sugerencia, sería ideal que el baño tuviera una puerta, ya que eso brindaría mayor privacidad.

3 Bedrooms house /shared pool

La casa está muy bonita, limpia y cómoda, las amenidades son compartidas pero espaciosas, Mia fue muy amable desde el principio, muy accesible nos apoyó y orientó en todo momento. Fuimos en familia, los niños estaban seguros y divertidos. Está cerquita de punta cocos, por lo que pudimos disfrutar de la Bioluminiscencia, las playas y el atardecer espectacular. Sin duda regresaríamos.

La ubicación de Casa del Mar son únicas para disfrutar de algunos de los puntos de mayor interés en Holbox como Punta Cocos, avistamiento de aves donde el rey del barrio es el flamimgo y experimentar la bioluminiscencia coronada con la mejor vista a la vía láctea en luna nueva. La casa se integra perfectamente en su entorno, disfrutamos del desayuno con una vista desde el comedor que inicia sobre la altura de las copas de los árboles para observar la playa cercana hasta dar con la línea de horizonte al mar, entonces el roof garden es un observatorio con alberca incluida, por lo el dilema diario se convertía en salir a explorar la isla o quedarse a disfrutar de una mariscada zarandeada en el asador para ver caer la puesta de sol desde la terraza. Todos los encargados de la casa fueron súper amables y atentos, siempre dispuestos a ayudarnos. Dicen que los que visitan Holbox se quedan más tiempo de lo planeado o regresan, nosotros regresaremos a Casa del Mar.

Great place to stay! Great location of you are looking for peace and quite, and the best beaches of the island just a few blocks away. The room was great and the bed was super confortable. Joe, the host, is the man. Great recomendations and very atentive. We will be back!

El alojamiento coincide con la descripción. Es bastante cómodo, con balcones y vista al mar. Es una zona tranquila y segura, se puede tener acceso a la playa caminando. El único inconveniente es que sí está retirado del centro y se tiene que pagar taxi de ida y vuelta al alojamiento, pues las calles no permitieron el traslado en bicicleta porque estaban inundadas, algo que dicen es más común en la isla. Los anfitriones pendiente de lo que se requirió, con ellos mismos reservamos el transporte y fueron muy amables.

We have a great time in this AirBnB; very spacious and comfy :) The beach is at the doorstep and some nice places to eat too! (2 things I would had: we had to pay a $300 deposit and we could not take the towels to the beach, just so people know!) Highly recommend!
