Great location and beautiful building to stay in.

This was a wonderful place to stay and explore. The garden was absolutely wonderful and much appreciated by all guests of two and four legs. Wonderfully clean, bright and spacious rooms. We had a wonderful time and are very grateful for the stay. We will definitely be back!

Phoebe’s basement flat made for such a wonderful stay. There was plenty of space, everything was clean and well decorated! - it looked exactly like the photos. And as others have mentioned the bed was extremely comfortable!!! I would definitely stay here again!

Julie is an ideal host, very friendly and responsive. The static caravan is very well equipped with a kitchen, 2 toilets, one with shower, and a sizeable lounge /dining area. Would book again. David Maxwell

Absolutely lovely place to spend a night - from feeding the fish to a quick round of pool, and of course the brilliant facilities on the patio, which couldn't be simpler to use thanks to the helpful instructions. Everything is set up to provide optimum convenience and a warm welcome (like the plentiful fire/BBQ supplies and the eggs and marmalade from Jane's hens, which were both fantastic, so kind!) Jane herself is a wonderful host, and my partner and I highly recommend this listing. Thank you!

Just stayed for 2 nights, wish it had been more. Lovely house, pristine with all amenities that we needed. It is a short walk to local supermarket, and fab that you have a parking space, locked in, so that you don’t have to keep moving the car. The railway track is close by, but that didn’t disturb us. A lovely private patio too. Beds very comfortable and a really powerful shower. Rye is also walkable and Taz gave us masses of ideas for acting and visiting. A lovely town, all independent shops. Lots of artwork and gift items, spoilt for choice. Loved the shop from interior designs, the paper place, items bought. Really worth climbing the steps to the tower in the church, great views. Winchelsea beach towards Pett Level worth walking, Rye Harbour and the Nature Reserve great. Husband loved the Rye Waterworks Micropub, great atmosphere & scotch eggs. A lot of walking done in two nights stay, but worth every minute of it. Make sure you leave both sets of keys behind….unlike us. Enjoy

We had a wonderful stay, everything was perfect! The only downside was parking and the narrow street is generally jammed packed so had to park a few streets away. Aside from that we had a wonderful time (and very grateful for coffee machine). We were in Hastings for my mother’s funeral and this lovely home provided a safe and comforting environment to come home to. Thank you for a fantastic stay 💕

A great Airbnb in Hastings - close to the rest of town, large and with excellent ameneities. The bedrooms were large with comfortable beds, the shower I used was one of the best I've ever used, and the area was fairly quiet after about 10/11pm. An excellent choice.

A beautiful AirBnB, finished and furnished to a high standard and quality. Having the cooking essentials, tea, milk, and even breakfast stuff included was an appreciated touch. Would love to come back here perhaps for a cosy Winter stay next time. Gaynor had great communication, but left us to it to enjoy our stay.

What a wonderful place……everything as described….David & Donna provided a great welcome pack. The house had everything needed for a relaxing break. Beach was quiet and clean. Games room was a hit for the competitive people in our group! View from the sitting room was stunning ……Plenty of parking and was very easy to find.

We had an absolutely perfect stay at The Pump. The photos do not do it justice, the property is beautiful and full of light. We were only there for two nights but it felt like a home from home and we would've stayed much longer if we could. Very welcoming hosts, there was wine, bread, marmalade, etc. for us on arrival which was lovely. Lots of board games to keep you busy even in the rain. The wood burning hot tub is an obvious perk, and Brian was very responsive and proactive with keeping it at the perfect temperature for us. We would recommend to anyone hoping for a relaxing escape to the country. Thank you very much to Brian and Francesca for making it such a memorable stay.

This place is just beautiful! I couldn't fault it, the hosts have literally thought of everything. We were luckily enough to be here on the hottest day of the year so far and it was perfect. I can't wait to visit again

We had such a lovely stay in this very central and cosy flat. Really nicely decorated with all the essentials for cooking. A very generous welcome basket. Great shower and really comfy bed with a cute terrace just outside the bedroom.

Our first Airbnb, it was AMAZING. Sadly only able to stay for two nights. The accommodation was perfect in every way. We didn’t require any of the facilities other than two mugs, a kettle, a bed, and a bathroom as we were in the area to visit relatives for a function, however, there was everything supplied that could possibly be needed for a long holiday. The bedding, and everything else, was spotless. Not a speck of dust anywhere, beautiful white towels. Could not find a single fault at all, and I’m not an easy person to please! Such a peaceful area. Thank you Alison for being such a gracious hostess

Absolutely beautiful property to relax and unwind. The apartment had everything we needed to make dinner and fully enjoy our stay. Having the beach right on our doorstep was a massive bonus! The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and functional. Overall this was a very comfortable and happy stay! Thank you Warren

What a perfect getaway spot. We wished we had booked a longer stay! Alison has thought of everything to create a welcoming, stylish and comfortable experience inside and out! Highlights were strolling to the pretty pond area, private fire-pit area, blissfully comfy beds, views of fields and beautiful gardens. Added bonus was the on-site blacksmith’s traditional forge run by Alison’s son and husband!! Highly recommended. Thank you Alison!

We are quite particular about where we stay when travelling around, and I’ve got to say, this property is a superb example as to how “AirBnB” should be done! It’s to an exceptional standard , with much thought and attention to detail into the essentials and nice to haves a guest may require. The fit out is superb, the location is as equally superb. Immaculate throughout, something we look for when booking a property to stay at. All in all, a superb stay, great value for money and we will most definitely be back again. Carla and Pete were the perfect hosts. You knew they were on site should you need them but your space was perfectly private. The property was excellent. The kitchen was very well equipped and contained a lot of helpful store cupboard essentials. The bedroom had the most comfortable bed I have slept in and good storage for clothes etc. Nice bathroom and great shower, with a good array of complimentary toiletries. The lounge area was very cosy. Comfortable sofa and dining room table overlooking the patio with sea view. Wi-fi etc was very easy to set up and worked well. Outside the patio is great with plenty of seating and colourful planting. The sea is just at the bottom of the garden and easy access to the promenade a couple of minutes away. The welcome hamper was both excellent and very generous. Both Carla and her husband were super-friendly and helpful and Danny (their puppy) was adorable. I would 100% recommend this property and would love to return for another holiday.

A gorgeous apartment in a lovely neighborhood with the sea right there! There was no “free parking on premises” as indicated in the listing, but we never had trouble finding a nearby “on street” spot. The light filled living room-kitchen-dining room was beautiful morning and night, the patio was lovely and inviting. The neighborhoods, both nearby in St Leonards and slightly further away in Hastings and Bexhill were fun and exciting. Do eat at St Clements, some of the best food we’ve had recently! The provision of a good coffeemaker, and beach chairs was a great touch. We would gladly return if circumstances allowed.
