Staying at this beautiful Grade II listed Manor House was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our lovely host — Jo’s hospitality and warmth made our visit feel like staying with family. The Manor House itself is absolutely stunning — full of character, history, and timeless charm. Each room tells a story, and the period features have been lovingly preserved. Yet, despite the historic setting, all the comforts we needed were provided. The bed was cozy, the surroundings peaceful, and the gardens were a delight to stroll through. What made this stay truly special was our host. Her stories about the house’s history, the village, and her life were fascinating and added such depth to the whole experience. She was incredibly thoughtful, always checking to ensure we had everything we needed — without ever being intrusive. If you're looking for a truly authentic and heartwarming stay in the English countryside, this is it.

We had a wonderful overnight stay...The air B&B was immaculate...so lovely & peaceful and the added bonus of the pub next door! And to have a cosy living room to come back to for a relax before bedtime... many Thanks Roy & Coleen

Very comfortable and well equipt. A bit small but more than adequate. Off road parking a big bonus. We came to see Beachy Head and the Seven Sisters and wasnt disappointed, but thought Eastbourne a bit rundown, but went to some of the surrounding towns, such as Pevensey and Lewes, which were outstanding, so Eastbourne is a good choice. Thanks very much Roma for being such an outstanding host.

Mark and Melanie are wonderful hosts and very welcoming. The place is exactly as described in the listing and it is very cozy and peaceful. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and we had all of the amenities we needed for a peaceful stay. The EV charging was an added feature and very useful to us. The surrounding property is picturesque and charming. Over all we can highly recommend staying at this place to other guests! Thank you again.

Very characterful place to stay right in the best bit of Hastings Old Town. All amenities worked well, comfort in abundance, all in all a delightful stay.

A nice little place where we could spend a month between house moves. John was helpful, and met us at the location. The flat was clean, and everything was as described. The flat is in a relatively secluded place as expected, but there was a bit more traffic noise than expected, as it is right on the corner of a crossroads.

We had a very enjoyable last minute break in Rye. Yasmin was very accommodating and her place had everything we needed. It’s in great location and the recommendations in her house manual were spot on. Would highly recommend to anyone and we will be staying here again for sure.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at The Barn. Communication with Georgina prior to our arrival was excellent and the information sent through was accurate and very helpful. The Barn is a special place great setting, so peaceful, lovely to look out at all the sheep/rabbits and to view so many stars. The Barn was spotlessly clean, well equipped, super comfy beds and beautiful bed linen. A real home from home. Easy reach to Camber sands and Rye. Great selection of independent shops and restaurants. We hd a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend and will return. Thank you

We had a lovely four night stay with our kids. The gardens were very special and we especially enjoyed the outside BBQ and dining space. The house is in a wonderful setting - very peaceful and right next to the train station to Rye and Hastings (ideal if you don't love country roads).

Second time staying in these courtyard accommodations. Place was clean and welcoming, as expected. Particularly useful to have cot and highchair available. Communication with host was good. Location works well for us, easy to walk to shops and seafront and in to town.

What a beautiful property, welcoming, well kept and the stylishly furnished rooms were spacious and had everything you needed. We took coastal walks in both directions from the property as well as venturing into Rye, which is a charming place to visit. Our primary reason for being there was a family catch-up so we didn’t venture out anywhere else but the lovely eat in kitchen (with several places to eat outside too), allowed us to cook, eat, relax and enjoy ourselves. Tim was very friendly and proactive about keeping in touch with useful information. I would return and would also recommend the property to others.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay - location suitable for our dog as very peaceful rural setting. The kitchen was also well stocked and the lounge comfortable. Also ideally situated to visit local National Trust properties in this part of Kent - information regarding local pubs shops etc very helpful - we would consider returning .

The house is stunning, the layout is perfect and was spotless. Level 1 kitchen/lounge/outdoor balcony. Level 2 bedrooms. Level 3 attic room with chairs, binoculars and great views (each level has great views!) We were a group of 4 although if 8, the size and layout would have allowed us to have our own space. The bedrooms, 2 with en-suites, a large family bathroom and all with sea views. Watching sunrise over the ocean and the dawn morning bird chorus transported me to tropical holiday vibes. The house overlooks gardens, bluebells and iris were in bloom. Down the house steps and after about 50 metres you are on the sea wall/beach. Jo and Andrew have been great hosts, great communication prior to our trip and provided a welcome pack of really useful local information, thank you for the snacks and wine. Relaxing on the balcony, watching the ocean and world go by was the perfect way to start the trip. If I ever return to Hastings, first stop would be to try and rebook this AirBNB

Great house, very clean, airy and bright. Especially liked the bunk bed room! Also great having the games room and the outside space.

The house was perfect for us to get together with my daughter and grandchildren, who live close by. Extremely well stocked with everything you could need for a perfect stay. Thank you we will definitely recommend your house.

My sister and I enjoyed our stay at Ayodeji's place. It was cosy and clean, he communicated throughout and provided clear instructions regarding the nearest car park. You, and your husband, showed her kindness, attention and... a bonus lift I understand so she didn't require a taxi! Thank you so much. When I came to collect her she was raving about her stay! Now the airbnb stuff... The annex is perfectly turned out. Spotlessly clean. The appliances are easy to use and well explained. The bedroom is spacious and your gardens are very well cared for. The television is easy to use and the wifi instant. I couldn't recommend your place more. Thank you.

wife and I stayed for 3 nights. great place, well kitted out, walking distance to town and the station. traffic on the road but it quietens down in the evening. we had no trouble sleeping. recommended
