House vacation rentals in Golden Valley

This is our 2nd time at Harmala’s place. Comfortable, clean, and welcoming. Harmala responded quickly when one of the remote controls to the tv needed batteries. The pool was perfect as usual. There was a van and blue car that came by daily to work in the field and tend to the chickens but they did not interfere with our stay at all. I would highly recommend this place and look forward to our next trip here.

Great place. Eric had wonderful recommendations for walkable restaurants and other things to do in the area. The yard and garage area were a hit. Very friendly host.

My wife and I loved staying at this beautiful house!! The house was extremely nice, the pool was incredible, and patio was very relaxing. The house was also perfectly clean and had a great ambience and decor. We thought the hosts were great and they did an amazing job making sure we enjoyed every aspect of our trip. We would highly recommend staying there!!

It was cold one night and my kids wanted to have a swim after dark. Samantha's husband came over and turned the heat up on the pool to make sure we could have a swim and create some great memories. Samantha was extremely responsive and flexible with check-in time. Everything was clean and beautiful. They also had nice sound bars and subwoofers on both televisions to make movies on the big TVs that much better. My kids raved about how nice the house was and how much fun they were having. Thanks, Samantha!

We had a wonderful stay! The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. The host was responsive and made check-in easy. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home. Would definitely stay here again!

The pool was a huge hit for us! Stayed by the water for three days, nice deck area that had a covered seating area. The backyard felt very private, hardly saw or heard any neighbors. Very spacious in the house, large rooms and bathrooms. Would defiantly stay again!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our mini staycation, which provided ample space for our family and engaging activities for my teenagers. The three-season back porch with a fan was my preferred spot. We all appreciated the pool. We will definitely return

The home was perfect for our group. It’s in a convenient location. The driveway was big enough to fit the 5 pickup trucks we had. It was nicely decorated and clean. The games, pool, and park nearby kept us busy. Everything was labeled and organized in the kitchen. There was a first aid kit which came in handy for a bandaid when a kiddo got an owie. The deck is super spacious for a large group. Jared & Amy were great to work with. One of the kids forgot a doll and they offered to ship it to us. That was very kind of them and very much appreciated. We would stay here again.

Sunset Shores is an absolute gem. From the moment we stepped inside, we knew we had found something special. The home is beautifully updated with a clean, modern design that still manages to feel incredibly cozy and welcoming. Every detail has been so thoughtfully considered — it’s clear that Sarah, the hosts, take great pride in offering an exceptional guest experience. The location was absolutely beautiful. Nestled in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood but right on the Mississippi River, it offered the perfect balance of privacy and natural beauty. It was truly lovely to sit out on the deck or in the three-season porch and watch the river go by. The calming sound of the water and the serene surroundings made it easy to relax and unwind. I do not have enough space here to write everything I want about how wonderful this home was but I will just say Sarah the host was amazing to work with the houses and location are beautiful and I look very much forward to a future stay here.

Place was as described, location was perfect for us (exploring Paisley Park and downtown Minneapolis), and very clean.

Fabulous place with walking trails by the river right across the street. Very cozy bed and linens. Well stocked kitchen and welcome snacks- always a nice touch. Perfect for two as there is only one bathroom. In nice weather we would have enjoyed the beautiful deck and yard. Hosts are delightful and great communicators.

The house has some spacious rooms, a nice kitchen, and a comfortable living room. I loved the decorations and the rugs felt soft and clean! my family and I loved the basement, it had lots of room for my kids to run around safely.

Pam was a gracious and kind host. She was quickly responsive every time I had a question, and she was kind throughout our entire stay. Her home was spotless, had everything we needed, and was located in a beautiful neighborhood with the lake not more than a few minutes away from it. This is a great place to stay for anyone who needs it!

Marcel’s place was perfect for a family reunion! Everyone had their own bedroom and there were great gathering spaces inside and out. We have stayed at many Airbnbs, this is in our top 3 for our whole family( 8 adults)

The place was exactly as described and close enough to the city to enjoy what Minneapolis has to offer but far enough to enjoy peace at night. No issues with our stay and my mom mentioned multiple times that she would stay again if we were to come back. Plenty of towels and washcloths were provided for our whole group and the beds were comfortable. Overall a great stay.

Worked great for our family with 2 littles. Neighborhood seemed safe and was centrally-located to easily get to other areas of the Cities for our adventures. House was perfect - clean, comfortable and styled amazingly. Would be perfect for a long-term rental too! We appreciated all of the cozy details and clean ingredient/environmentally friendly products stocked throughout the space. Katie was very kind and helpful. Would highly recommend!

Nami’s place is close to plenty of grocery stores by foot or bus, the bus stop is right around the corner which is very convenient. Safe suburban neighborhood with beautiful scenery, it takes about 20-30min bus ride to uptown. It’s easy to get help since Paul works from home, their dog is super friendly! I also met her family members time from time when they stayed for dinner. It’s pretty spacious in the basement, and they have everything you need stored.The backyard is absolutely divine in the summer!

The house was cute and clean. Had everything you would want and more. Lots of kitchen supplies. Fenced backyard with outdoor furniture is great. The neighborhood is close to everything from downtown, to lakes, to airport and shopping. We have already booked a return stay.

The house was lovely and looked exactly like the pictures. I loved that it had a washing machine (for small loads). It has everything you could possibly need in the kitchen! The hosts were so nice and very responsive. I highly recommend this house if you need to stay in the area….its spotless and well stocked.

10/10 would recommend. The air bnb was exactly as listed. Place was really clean. While we didn't end up using any of it, having coffee and tea provided was a really nice touch. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again in the future. Kaity is a great host and is super responsive to any questions.

As described the place was very close to "Eat Street" with a multitude of choices for dining. Glam Doll Donuts and The Copper Hen were both great for breakfast options. There is a huge record store called Cheapo Records near by, as well, which was fun to explore after visiting Paisley Park. I did enjoy relaxing in the hot tub especially when there was a nip in the air. There were lots of amenities (MIA, Walker Art Center, shopping) within walking distance and a short ride to the ballpark and St. Paul. It was nice too that the sleeping area had its own level. The hosts were very responsive and made sure I had everything I needed.
