Monthly Rentals in Glen Lake

What a beautiful place to experience Northern Michigan. It was very clean and felt like walking into an Up North oasis. We are “honorary locals” at this point and can honestly say that this spot is perfect for those coming to Northern Michigan but wanting to spend more time outdoors. Sometimes places in Traverse City have still a little too much hustle and bustle. The Round Haven was never too far from our other Northern Michigan favorites like Old Mission, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Suttons, and Leland. The Round Haven was also conveniently on the Glen Lakes with an easy drop in for our kayaks. We hope to come back in the future!

We had a lovely, relaxing 5 days at this camp. It is simple but appears to be recently renovated. It’s not high end (the kitchen chairs are cheap plastic) but it’s clean, comfortable, and tasteful. It’s nestled on the lake with a gorgeous view. Sadly, the renovation did not include a dishwasher. Bayshore does a great job stocking the place - there are plenty of replacement supplies, including coffee. Two Bayshore annoyances: I requested a rubber spatula/flipper so the non stick pans didn’t get further damaged. Their response: I could purchase one myself. Also, you have to drag the trash can 200 yards up the driveway on Tuesday nights or “there may be an additional fee.” Still, I would stay there again.

One of the few places that feels worth the payout. I’ve been going to glen arbor on and off for 10 years. This was the first time being on the physical lake (little glen). Having the private access, and having kayaks to go was pretty cool. We created some great memories for my 11 year old son. It was a slice of paradise. I hope to come here again sometime in the future when it’s warmer.

We were looking for a place to stay and have beautiful views and with the park right across the street it was gorgeous. Unfortunately too cloudy for us to see dark skies and no aurora potential :/ but the sunset was absolutely beautiful on the dock. We found it extremely easy to see the dunes like we planned. We also went to traverse city and then putt putting at Crystal Falls Mini Golf & Ice Cream Shop. If you are willing to drive from the house 30 ish minutes it’s worth it from our opinion.
