Vacation rentals with a kayak in Glen Lake

The hosts were very responsive and communicative. The AC kind of went out and the hosts promptly got someone out to fix it. The setting was beautiful! We enjoyed a couple days on the boat (Northaire rentals), then did day trips to Sleeping Bear Dunes and Mackinac Island and then a down day with the kayaks and SUP. My husband enjoyed fishing off the Dockside Pier. We enjoyed ice cream at Moomers, local cider at Royal Farms and our best meal at Toonie’s for Friday fish fry. Us southerners should have been better prepared for colder water and later seasons. The longer days also threw us for a loop but still a great first trip to Michigan!

Me and the boys had bachelor weekend at Jason’s house! The pictures still don’t explain the full picture, the house is simply GORGEOUS. I will recommend Jason’s house to friends and family and will be back anytime I visit TC! Thank you Jason for letting us use your home.

Excellent lake house. Amazing views. Great amenities including a wonderful screened in porch, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, life jackets and plenty of toys. The house was immaculately clean on our arrival and exactly as it appears in the pictures. Very friendly neighbors as well!

We rented this for a winter getaway. The home was lovely and our family of 8 had a wonderful time. Playing ping-pong and other games, enjoying the fire place and having plenty of space to cook and enjoy meals together were some of our favorite inside activities. Being so close to trails meant we found lots of opportunities to be outside, too. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Great stay for the weekend. Peaceful and beautiful view of the lake. We seen bald eagles and caught fish off the dock. We would love a place like this to spend weekends away. Definitely would stay there again.

Pure heaven! One of the most peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable stays we’ve had! Pristine interior with outstanding views of lake, every amenity (including beach toys) we could have wanted. The perfect couples getaway to recharge our batteries. Would be great for young families too. Bass Lake is divine for kayaking among the lily pads and loons, watching the sunsets, or just chilling on the deck. My husband was pouting all the way home as we hated to leave. Check-in was super easy, everything was top notch start to finish. Can’t wait to rebook next year.

We came into town to stay for a few days to celebrate a birthday. the home was absolutely gorgeous, modern, and everything was carefully thought out. Anything you could need, they have thought of! The hosts were very communicative and the fact that we could bring the pups, really made this trip more fun. The only suggestion I have would be to possibly add a fence and a hot tub, then you have no reason to leave! 😉

We loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! The pictures don’t do the view from the main living room justice - gorgeous panoramic lakefront. The cabin was rustic but homey. We enjoyed curling up on the sofa with a good book, playing games at the dining table, and grilling out. Our two dogs had a wonderful time splashing around on the private beach. This location is very desirable in both its privacy and proximity to multiple other towns (Suttons Bay and Leland are very close, and Glen Arbor and Traverse City are easily drivable). So quiet and peaceful - would stay again!

We enjoyed our stay at John’s. It was just a described. The kids loved the paddle boards, kayaks and floating dock. We appreciated all the recommendations that were provided on the wall and in the books around the house. The kitchen had everything needed for us to eat most meals at the house and the grill was nice.

We truly enjoyed our stay. The property was stunning! We wished for better weather to enjoy the kayaks and paddle boats, but that was nothing that could’ve been controlled. We did enjoy a fire in the pit. The lake view was beautiful. Jake was very pleasant and made sure we were taken care of. Thank you!

**Review of Our Stay at Teresa's AirB&B** If I could rate this place a 10, I absolutely would! From the moment we booked Teresa's AirB&B, my expectations were exceeded. I anticipated a simple house, but what we found was a fully stocked home that made us feel truly welcomed—perhaps I even overpacked! The cleanliness of the property was impressive; it looked exactly as depicted in the photos. We enjoyed a variety of activities, including kayaking and cozy bonfires in the backyard, which added to our memorable experience. The attention to detail was remarkable, and the proximity to the lake, just a few minutes away, made our stay even more enjoyable. We even drove up to Leland Mi “fish town” Overall, My 35th birthday was awesome! we had an amazing time and are already planning our return. Thank you, Teresa, for providing such a wonderful getaway! 😊

Anita was an amazing host! She responded very quickly to any questions we had throughout our stay. The pictures do not do this place justice, it’s more beautiful in person. It was immaculately clean and had everything we needed. Coffee pot, toaster, cookware, they thought of everything. Even had extra sunscreen the bathroom. The beach area was also very clean and well stocked, we enjoyed going out on the kayaks. It was the perfect setting to exhale and escape the world for a week on our own private beach. We will definitely be booking with Anita again!

Such a great place, we really enjoyed it and it was a great spot to bring our little kids and dog! We hope to return next year!

My husband and I had a wonderful time relaxing at this lake house. It had everything needed for us to kick back, relax, and unplug. Our host was very responsive with every contact that we made! The only thing I would add to the house description is that there are a few pretty tall steps in the house, so someone with bad knees might want to consider that. Great place and well with the money!

This is our second time staying at Laurie’s Airbnb and we love it. It’s the perfect place to enjoy the winter wonderland up there. Laurie is very communicative and very helpful. The place is comfy and we love that we can bring our dogs!

The Memory Maker was all that we hoped for and so much more. We had initially intended to find an Airbnb on Torch Lake but once we saw this place we booked it right away and it was the perfect choice. We still trailered the boat a quick ride to Torch for an adventure but spent the majority of our trick on Elk Lake and loved it. This Airbnb thought of everything and we wanted for nothing! We took our four adult children and their significants and our grandbaby and we all had plenty of room to enjoy our stay! Hank and Alaina

We had a great weekend. The cabin is lovely. We hiked at the nearby nature area, fished in the lake & surrounding areas, and explored downtown. We made breakfasts and dinners at the cabin and the kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were all comfortable. We enjoyed the variety of boats available.

We enjoyed our stay at this cozy cabin in the woods! The hot tub was perfect to relax and enjoy the nature around. We seen several deer on the property. The house was accommodating and had all the basics. We appreciated the firewood as the days and nights were chilly and we love to cook on the fire. Communication with the owners was easy with quick responses.

The cabin was perfect. So many useful amenities. Perfect for our family snowmobiling trip.

This is our second time here, first in winter, now in summer. Loved it both times. Lots of stuff to do for all ages: fishing, swimming, kayaks and canoe available, gas fire pit, fire ring on the beach and multiple outdoor sitting areas. Saw beaver, bluegills, loons and hummingbirds. Plenty of towels and blankets and multiple fridges. Kitchen nicely stocked with supplies.

Really loved this place! The view of the river from the deck was great, also a great view from inside. Well stocked with everything I needed. Hope to return someday!

It was a great cabin with full of things provide to do to spend the days away from home. Enough to do for days we didnt have plans to enjoy some cards around the open fire or enjoy some time in the hot tub, or have a friendly game of corn hole

We loved Dave's place! The house was very comfortable and access to the lake was excellent. My family loved being able to fish and play in the lake when we weren't out sight seeing in Traverse City. We had the resort all to ourselves the week we were there, so it was our own private oasis!

Nice cabin in the woods. Hot tub works but could use a new control panel. Inside is what we expected and more. Comfy beds. two fire pits outside. if you have small kids like us be aware there is a steep drop around one side and partly behind the cabin thats pretty close to fire pit. If i decide to stay near baldwin or go hunting the state game area i will deffinitly be back here. not the cleanist place but for the price im not even gonna conplain. wasnt terrible but could have been dusted and swept up a little more. i just grabbed the broom in the bathroom and used the shark vaccum on arrival and when we left. its not nasty dirty so dont take me the wrong way. for the price conpared to similar cabins and what we got out of it i feel its worth it by a long shot.
