Cozy simple cabin in the mountains.

Nice but simple cabin in the mountains. Near hiking areas. Here you can enjoy holidays or weekends out on the terrace, hiking in the mountains, or indoors with fire in the oven and board games. The cabin has electricity, and running water, but no shower inside. The cabin is self-sufficient, i.e. you must bring linen, etc. You'll also need to wash it before you leave so it's ready for the next family. Firewood for a fireplace can be purchased as well. The cabin has an incineration toilet, easy and clean, easy maintenance.

The cabin was new in February 2017. It is modern, functional and has a panorama view, a perfect basecamp for a variety of hikes and trips in addition to relaxing around the cabin. The area offers great possibilities for fishing trout in the mountain lakes and salmon in the Bjerkreimselva, listed as one of the best salmon rivers in Norway! Try also the Kodlom lake just outside the door! In the winter season, Stavtjørn is well known for its excellent cross country and alpine skiing terrain.

Access to gas barbecue in spring and summer. TV living room in annex. It is a drive of about 25 minutes to Preikestolen parking. The nearest town is Jørpeland. It takes about 20 minutes by car. Here you will find various food shops and resturants. It is about 50 minutes by car to Stavanger.

Flat located directly on the lake

This place is located by a lake 30 km south of Stavanger. If you want to take a bath or fish in the lake, you are free to do that. There is also a possibility to use our two kayaks or our old beloved wooden row-boat. The area offers good hiking opportunities such as Preikestolen and Kjerag. In this lovely place you are getting your own kitchen, a big bathroom with a walk in shower and a bathtub, a nice bedroom and a good sized living room with a nice view over the garden and the lake.

The cabin is located approx. 100 meters from the parking space (5 min walk), it is located in a breeze for wind and has good sun conditions and a view to Kvitefossen. You can relax on the terrace to hear birdsong and the waterfall showering, or relax in a hammock in the garden. This is not the view of neighbours. There is a children's bolt area and a cozy barbecue area with a fireplace. Wood you can buy from host Linda .

Giljastøl's best viewpoint. Many varied mountain hikes. Fishing and swimming opportunities. Ski in ski out in winter with Gilja Alpin 250m from cabin. After the day's activities, it's good to sink into a hot tub with good massage and enjoy the sunset or starry sky. There is also a sauna in the cabin. Good sun conditions around cabin from morning to evening in the summer. Relax with friends and family in this amazing vacation home.

Very nice cabin close to Stavanger and Pulpit rock

Great place for quiet days at the cottage. Kayaking, swimming, fishing, and mountain walks. The cottage is newly renovated, and is located only a couple of meters from the water. Walking distance from parking is approx. 3 minutes. One hour from the Pulpit rock. Nice beaches nearby. Close to Sandnes/Stavanger with shopping and fine restaurants.
