Vacation rentals with lake access in Norway

Stein-Ove and Marita are the best possible hosts, as they do their ultimate best to make sure that their guests have a phenomenal experience, in their fabulous house, in the unique environment of Lofoten. What stands out the most, from my view, is that the guests get the real experience of real life in such remote area of the world. This was my and my wife's intention, totally fulfilled beyond expectations, and we will never forget what we saw and how we felt. The house is situated in a magnificent location, between splendid mountains and coastline, and still easily accessible via a road where there is very little traffic, which ensure total peace. We felt what it means to have a family life in Lofoten, basically the experience cannot be more authentic, truly. Needless to say, the house was spotlessly clean and had all facilities to feel at home, e.g. we could use the kitchen to have a peaceful dinner overlooking the ocean. In brief, if you want the real experience, do book this house!

Dear Tina, We loved „Solli“, your arctic paradise at the sea. So much space and light because of the glassfront towards the fjord. Spectacular view and best private Sauna we ever saw. Everything around the house was so easy, thanks also to the perfect information about everything there was to know you and René provided beforehand and your quick responses whenever we had a question. Even though the house is not „infant safe“ we managed pretty good travelling with a 17 month old boy, since there were no stairs inside going down and the upward ones we could block and since it was summer season no need to use the fireplace. Plenty of room to play in the living room. The kitchen was equipped perfetly. Even a bedroom with the greatest view. We stayed with 3 (and a half😉) generations and everyone loved it. We had a lovely stay at Beatte & Håvard's cabin. They made us feel right at home including special touches like having a few toys for our 6 year old. The location was magical and our only regret is that we only booked for 4 nights instead of longer. Everything is set up to be cozy and peaceful. They had great recommendations for local hikes and went above and beyond to answer our questions. Definitely recommend!

Jonathan’s rental house in Fjordgård was simply wonderful. Right on the water in a small town in Senja. Hiking trails to Hesten mountain and other locations are literally right outside the door! A floating sauna, which can be rented by the hour is a few doors down. The house is comfortably furnished with modern and extremely comfortable design. Four bedrooms upstairs were just right for our party of six. Would definitely stay again.

Wow! What an amazing place! It is like staying at a friends home - super comfortable, homey, and relaxing. The "sun room" was enchanting and we sat there for fours enjoying the different moods of the fjord. The location was beyond anything I can describe - it was so quiet! Lindy was very responsive and quick. There was nothing that could not have asked for!

We had a cozy two days, despite the bad weather. Very lovingly furnished cottage and hassle-free and easy communication with the host.

Our stay was wonderful. The bus system was close by to travel into town, and the view was magical. Everything we needed was provided and felt comfortable like home. If we travel to Bergen again, we will definitely stay again.

We had an absolutely awesome time at Espen’s place in Røldal. The cabin was super modern and clean and had everything we needed for an amazing couple of days enjoying the peace and quiet of Roldal. The view from the cabin is amazing from both inside and out, the beds were so comfortable and Espen was a brilliant host. He recommended great things to do in the area and was super responsive to any questions we had. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We would love to come back!

The apartment is really great and surrounded by water. We were there over Pentecost and it was wonderfully quiet. Rune's supermarket is right next door and unfortunately was closed over the holidays during our stay. Otherwise, that's super convenient. Rune is very friendly and we also rented his little boat to sail across the Lysefjord. A great experience!

Very authentic renovated Telemark barn. Located on the Totak. View of the lake and the still partly snow-covered mountains. Berit and Knut are very friendly people and like to have a chat. All basic amenities are available in Rauland.

Very comfortable apartment, well-equipped, with a great view. There's absolutely nothing missing. In addition, the owners are charming and very considerate. They received us wonderfully. Thank you for everything.

We enjoyed the stay in Drengstovo very much and could look at the fjord for hours from the balcony or the sitting area. Anne-Kristine and her husband were very friendly and helpful, but left you privacy. There are smaller shopping facilities 1.5-4 km away. Otherwise, you have to drive about 40 minutes to Odda, or take the ferry to Kinsarvik (for free, but it rarely runs). Within a radius of a good 1.5 hours, there are some excursion options.

It's a studio that has everything. It is very tastefully decorated, which makes the stay, if possible, more pleasant, and what can I say about the terrace with spectacular views. 100% recommended.👍🥂

Very private location on their property. Fantastic house for a large family…big decks, lots of living space and bedrooms. It was a shame we were only a couple, but we still enjoyed the experience.

Jorun has had many guests in her house on Sommaroy. Like all guests before us, I can only confirm from the heart what a great hostess Jorun is and how comfortable we felt in her house from beginning to end!!!!! Even when arriving, the weather was anything but smooth, she was there for us with help and advice, thank you very much for that;) We will definitely come back again, on the one hand to enjoy Jorun's hospitality again and on the other hand to get a second chance to see the aurora lights, which unfortunately was not the case this time. We came for the fox and stayed for everything else. The house and its surroundings are beautiful and Anita and her parents are great hosts who make you feel at home immediately.

Typical cottage, very well-equipped and comfortable in the heart of a beautiful landscape, quiet and relaxing.

Super location and exactly as described. We really enjoyed all the amenities, the surrounding area and the wildlife around the house such as various bird species. The house has beautiful and nice old accents and accessories which we really found to be an added value. The hot tub was amazing and super place. I spent 4 days at Tor Helge’s cabin and had a perfect stay. The place is calm, private, and the view is just amazing! The property goes down to the shore and my dog enjoyed walking up and down to the boat house and smelling the rabbits which I actually saw around. The house is really comfortable with all that you could need. Communication with Tor Helge was very friendly and pleasant and he made sure I had all I needed. He also left a list of places to visit, and I went to most of them, and they were just amazing local gems. I highly recommend staying here and I do hope to come back again in the future.

Very nice place. Absolutely perfect for families with children, with a lot to find for small and large persons. Lovely and sheltered space, quiet and quiet. Very nice play and helpful hosts. We'd love to come back!

Cristina and Rodrigo are two wonderful hosts. The house is spacious, cozy and incredibly equipped with every comfort: the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in. The location is a bit isolated, but the presence of the charging station for electric cars allows you to visit the Lofoten Islands in peace, knowing that you can recharge your car overnight. We spent a whole week here and had to leave reluctantly because we really felt at home.
