Everything about this apartment is 5 stars and if you are planning to stay with a young child I'd give it 10! The apartment checks all of the boxes: location is walkable to the town, check in/check out is simple, the view is stunning, the furnishings are comfortable, and the apartment includes any amenities you might need. We stayed with our toddler and Caroline went above and beyond in a way we have not seen at an Airbnb before. There was a travel crib, high chair, bibs, and a toy bin. It was such a pleasant surprise. We had everything we could need for him and our son truly enjoyed his stay! I would stay with or without children, it was such a wonderful stay! But as someone traveling with a child, we have never felt so welcomed and accommodated.

Perfect tiny (boat)house with a commanding view out over the fjord. Compact but very well appointed. Recommended!

We got what we came for and that was fishing and hygge :) The cabin is small and cozy. All around a very nice stay, would 100% come back to this place when we have the opportunity for it.

We had a great stay in Hilde's cabin. Beautiful nature and wildlife, nice mountain hikes and walks on the shore. Fishing and barbecuing were also included. We will be back😊

Hans and Emily's house is a real gem! Everything has been thought of, there is everything you need and more. The rooms are beautiful and the house has a special charm. A travel cot and high chair were provided for our daughter, there are games for children and adults - so even in bad weather there is no room for boredom. Charging the electric car also worked perfectly (for a more than fair fee). The communication with Hans during the stay was very friendly and helpful. All in all, a really great place to stay with so many options that we hope to try out on our next visit (canoeing, BBQ, swimming etc). Many thanks to Emily and Hans and all the best!

Sissel's cabin is nothing short of splendid! Tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort, it offers a beautiful view of the lake and the right atmosphere to relax in nature. Sissel provided us with all the necessary information and was always available. We hope to return soon and recommend staying in this magical place!

Very nice cottage where everything works. Beautiful scenery for the fjord and Kjerna, where you should go hiking. A small but good rowing boat and a dock with good fishing. Our son caught a good-sized cod, so the fishing waters were as expected! We will definitely visit again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was exactly as the pictures and description said it would be. The balconies are a huge bonus and it’s close to many eating places and activities. Most places are walkable from the condo. The host couldn’t have been more accommodating. One of the best hosts I’ve experienced through Airbnb.

We've never received a warmer welcome at an Airbnb home. There were personal greetings and surprises for everyone and a well-equipped house. The host was friendly and flexible with check-out. Everything was idyllic and cozy. Bjørn Harry is worthy of the Superhost title. We hope to return.

We had the most pleasant days in the cottage! Beautiful cottage, really nice view and area. We took advantage of both the outdoor pool and the rowboat, which was completely idyllic. John was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Can only be recommended, and we will be happy to return.

FOR a place!!!! I felt an immediate calm as soon as I entered the house. The house is large and absolutely beautiful!! It was good and warm, nice decor and lacked nothing. There is a piano on the second floor, and I loved it! I can't play, but I had a great time sitting by it and "playing" while I looked out over Vefsna. Absolutely magical!! I have already decided to return next spring/summer, and then I will stay more than just 2 days. I really recommend both the house and the hosting here!!!

Very friendly hosts - would highly recommend staying here! Description and pictures are very accurate - small and cozy! Cooking in the kitchen was tight but my wife and I managed to make some easy meals during our stay. Shower is outdoors but very private, great water pressure and hot so even on the colder days it was very pleasant. Not a ton to do in the specific area but very easy drive to Kristiansand and Mandal if you are looking for more shops and restaurants. Beautiful place very close to the beach!

We spent fantastic days at Kjetils house, it was just like we hoped it to be according to the pictures, very cozy house (even bigger living/kitchen area than we expected) in a stunning landscape. Of course spending the long dark nights in the outdoor pool was not only for our children an absolut highlight! (And eben seeing the northern lights one day!) Kjetil always answered immediately any question, just had some minor issues when we arrived in the dark. We would definitely like to come back one day!

Super nice house. You can get all you need here. Per and Lin are very kind and reply messages so fast. I would like to stay here whenever I am in Drammen :)

Otherwise is a perfect host who is helpful and very flexible. I was allowed to use the boat and even the Hings (boat as indicated for a fee). Beautiful location for walks and (for me especially) fishing (cod, pollak, Leng, squid, scarf and even a shark).

A mega nice and beautiful place to stay, for us the 2nd time. Again, we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and the fishing! Contact with host is very nice!

An absolutely amazing place to stay - the easiest 5-star review I’ve ever given! Breathtaking views from this beautiful and secluded cabin. The hot tub and fire pit are wonderful and the entire property is gorgeous, just like you can see in the photos. Two things to be aware of: 1) It’s a 3-4 min hike down to the cabin from the road where you park, but the hosts provided clear instructions for where to park and were super helpful in bringing our luggage down and back up during check-in and check-out. 2) There is another cabin right next to this one which the hosts also rent out. During the weekend that my wife and I were here, there was nobody staying in the other cabin so the area was a private oasis for us. Worth keeping in mind though that you’ll be sharing the space with others a bit though if anyone is staying in the other cabin. It’s a beautiful place and absolutely lives up to the photos in the listing. The hosts are helpful, friendly, and speak good English. 5/5!

We were allowed to spend 8 days in Kathrine's beautiful house. The location, tranquility and views are unique. The whole house is very clean and maintained. You immediately feel comfortable, which is why a rainy day is not a problem. The kitchen equipment leaves nothing to be desired, so you can easily take care of yourself. Particularly noteworthy here are the coffee machine and the Sodastream. The beds are very comfortable and the Stressless armchairs in the living room invite you to relax. The hot tub on the terrace with the great view is phenomenal. Kathrine responds to queries within a short time and also proactively passes on information. So she informed us about the Artic Run taking place, where we had the opportunity to get to know her, which made us very happy. We totally enjoyed the days at Kathrine and Glenn's house and hope we can come back in the winter.

This was one of the nicest places we've ever been to. We loved the view of the sea, could watch oystercatchers, seagulls, eagles and otters from the sofa. We have seen moose and reindeer in the immediate vicinity. It was great! The accommodation is very thoughtful with a lot of love for detail. We will be back at any time.

Everything about this stay was wonderful. From the beginning, Fredrik was communicative leading up to the stay. He offered advice and recommendations for things to do in the area. This home is immaculately designed and decorated. Very Scandinavian and minimalist design, which is my personal favorite. On top of that, the view is just gorgeous. It was hard to ever leave the home. We hope to come back again one day and stay again.

An amazing view and very comfortable house. We loved it there!

This was our first time on Lofoten and the tiny house from Kari was a great place for our holiday. Located near a beautiful beach we enjoyed the calm location with great views of the surrounding mountains. The house had anything we needed and the couch was very comfortable to sleep on. The sauna was a welcome addition with the cold weather. We appreciated the quick help from Kari for all our questions. Very happy to come back for more relaxing and resetting from the usual daily life!
