Hytten ligger kun en times biltur fra Stavanger. Det er sol fra morgen til kveld. Et veldig koselig sted med badekulp, badstu og badestamp, skitrekk, og oppkjørte skiløyper rett ved. Mange koseplasser ute og stedet tilbyr masse lekemuligheter for barn og voksne. Fisking, besøk til gruver, leking i liten bekk rett foran hytten. Det er markerte turløyper fra Turistforeningen og mange fine turer til topper og fredelige tjern. Slapp foran peisen ute eller inne, i badstu/ boblebadet om kvelden.
