Cabin vacation rentals in Galiano Island

We spent two nights at Shannon’s place and had a wonderful experience. The property looked exactly like the photos, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time—playing games, sitting around the fire, and relaxing in the hot tub. Shannon was very responsive. On the morning of our check-in, I reached out to let her know about a small change in our plans—we needed a crib and high chair. She replied right away and assured us it was no problem. The kitchen was exceptionally well-stocked—far beyond our expectations. There were plenty of spices, foil, Ziploc bags, etc…

We had a lovely stay in the tree house. It's truly unique and a cozy, comfortable, place to stay surrounded by natural beauty. We enjoyed visiting the local farmers market and exploring East Sooke Regoinal Park. I hope to go back!

This was the perfect end to our holiday in BC. A very peaceful and relaxing location. Great views of the ocean and surrounded by beautiful gardens which added to our privacy. The hot tub was perfect! The place was well presented, super clean and equipped with everything we needed. Loved the design, feel and aesthetic....it really added to the experience for our family of 4. Looking forward to another visit in the future! And the Kalimba was a well used bonus in the home ! We have since purchased one for ourselves ! Thanks for hosting. This place is amazing!

Absolutely wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this beautiful location -we were looking for solitude and we found it. Highly recommend to anyone looking for some R&R.

A fantastic cabin in a beautiful, peaceful setting, with great hosts. The cabin has a stunning modern interior with unique and thoughtful touches everywhere you look. The surrounding property and forest are welcoming and serene. The ocean view from both the cabin and hot tub is wonderful. The hosts were responsive, helpful, and effective communicators. Check in was simple and straightforward. I would highly recommend a stay at the cabin for a peaceful getaway.

We had a fabulous 4 day stay with perfect weather! We loved the access to the sea, the views from the balcony especially at sun set, the peaceful location and the hot tube. Rhys and Joanne were perfect hosts- very friendly and helpful. This was our first visit to the Sunshine Coast which we loved and feel so happy we found the cabin and its perfect location! Thank you

Shannon and Ryan were super friendly and responsive throughout our stay, and their place is incredible! Usually, a private, peaceful, and rustic cabin or cottage means compromising a bit on comfort or convenience - but not here! It’s private and surrounded by trees, with the sounds of nature and a fire crackling, all while also having a hot tub, hot outdoor shower, indoor bathroom, cozy bed with fresh sheets, and a full kitchen. I’ve stayed in a lot of cabins, and this one is truly a gem. We hope to visit again soon!

This was our second stay at Wanda's guest house. If you're looking for a quiet, cozy place to stay while exploring the Ladysmith / Nanaimo area, this is. Morning coffee on the deck watching the birds flitting among the many flowers is a great way to start the day. Wanda is a great host and her dog put a smile on my face every day. The kitchen is well equipped for those looking to cook their own meals. It's close enough to good food if you prefer to eat out. Wanda can give you some great tips. Everyone has their own wishlist in a BnB, but for us, this is perfect.

Scott and Kim are lovely hosts and the little house is absolutely charming and comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. At the right time of year in this idyllic setting you'll wake to birdsong and tuck in to the muted chorus of frogs. A wonderful base for exploring San Juan Island or perfectly situated for the annual Lakedale Triathlon. We hope to return.

It was such a lovely stay at Keitha’s cabin. It is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood close enough by the ocean. The cabin was charming with all the amenities you need for a get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cabin is on her gorgeous property with access to a fire pit and yard space. We had a lovely stay here and would love return! Keitha was very responsive and kind and has two beautiful dogs who sometimes greeted us with wagging tails by the fence. It was wonderful! I stayed at Lauri's place for a week while working remotely, and it was exactly what I needed. The deck offers a great view - perfect for morning coffee or unwinding in the evening. The area is quiet and peaceful, I could really focus during the day and relax afterwards. Even though it wasn't a vacation, I left feeling recharged. The cabin, though small, was well-equipped and comfortable, and the natural beauty around made it a memorable experience.

This is easily became of our favourite Airbnb stays. The view is unreal and being surrounded by nature is so peaceful. Ashley is a top-notch host and was very quick to answer questions and provide great recommendations. The cabin is stocked with everything you need for making a great meal. Oh and that hot tub with a view, wow. Our pup Willow absolutely loved it. We will definitely come back here in the future.

My third visit to the cottage in the barn, and I continue to fall deeper in love with it and with Orcas. I appreciate being just a bit away from town and how quiet and peaceful it is here. The little winery down the street is great fun, and the Lum farm has fresh goodies and you can visit with their animals! it's a gorgeous little home away from home and having the huge property to walk around with my pup is a big part of the draw for me. Well equipped kitchen with coffee supplies and spices, wraps, BYO oils and such for cooking. Love love and will be back as soon as I am able. Thanks, Susan!

We loved this gem of a cabin in the woods in East Sooke. The hosts thought of everything and the place was in fabulous condition, and was an experience in its own. We spent time in Sooke, whale watching, hiking and exploring. Unwinding in this cabin retreat made for the perfect holiday. The cabin was comfy, and every thing you need to cook and rest was included. Enjoying some time with the goats on site made our kids super happy as well. I would recommend this spot if you are traveling in Sooke! You won’t be disappointed.

We had a great stay! The neighbourhood was very peaceful. We really enjoyed grilling on the Weber BBQ and appreciated the multiple fans available in the cottage. The pillows were some of the best I've slept on! My toddler said it was her favourite place that we've stayed. Thanks!

We had a lovely girls trip to Galiano and Alex’s cabin was just perfect for the three of us. Was even more beautiful in person, perfectly secluded, and in a convenient location to everything we wanted to do. Would give more than 5 stars if we could!

Our 5 night stay at The Gite was a magical and peaceful retreat. The home offers a serene, bucolic escape that feels like stepping into a slower, more beautiful rhythm of life while conveniently located on the threshold of Ruckle Provincial Park. From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted by Nancy who was lovely and welcoming. She set the tone for our cozy and comfortable experience. The home itself is thoughtfully appointed and radiates charm. It’s the kind of place that makes you say, “I can move in here!” One of the highlights of our stay was enjoying delicious homemade scones and muffins from Robert and delivered twice during our visit. It was a thoughtful and memorable touch that made us truly cared for. Each afternoon we watched deer wander across the great lawn for a nibble; a daily visit that only deepened our sense of calm and connection to nature. Whether you’re hiking through the adjacent park or soaking in the tranquility from the comfort of The Gite, this is a gem.

We just sold a vacation property we ran for 10 years, we were anxious for a getaway where someone else did the cleaning ! The cabin was really lovely, lots of nice, thoughtful touches like handmade soap, good quality tea and coffee etc. We LOVED the record player and had such fun listening to many old faves, once we got the button sorted out for pitch hahahahah ! Made for a really good laugh. Do not disregard the warnings about the 4x4, the road is very steep and I couldn't imagine using a wagon to move my belongings from the top to the bottom. and back again. We had an SUV and were fine but I wouldn't try it in a small car. It is very peaceful here when the planes weren't overhead. It is located in a flight path, but it comes and goes. The bathroom is magical. So much thought has gone into it. Don't leave the blinds down and miss the view, no one will see you ! Really missed having a BBQ . If you have things you want to do , like the cidery, check for opening times.

Zephyr Cottage was the perfect getaway for a long weekend in Sooke—highly recommended! One of the highlights of our stay was relaxing in the sauna while local deer wandered by. It was such a memorable experience. We can’t wait to come back!

You can't get any more Canada. Unique wooden house in the forest. Everything fits. Many thanks to the hostess, we felt right at home. We'd love to come back and stay longer. It's worth it. There you can relax, unwind and recover. Comfortable, warm and cozy. We were super excited! Happy!!

This place is terrific and I would definitely return. We travelled as a family with 2 kids and had a wonderful time. The cabin is clean and comfortable. The kitchen is stocked with cooking implements for cooking meals (be sure to get groceries on the way in, but the drive to Sooke is beautiful if you need to drive there later). The shower is quite nice, featuring a rain shower. The sauna is great and the small trails in the back to the creek were fun. The location is near several beaches/hiking trails that are beautiful. There’s also a nice coffee shop a couple minutes drive from the cabin that was delicious and a pizza place nearby that had some of the best I’ve had. Hosts were friendly and helpful and responsive to messages. I highly recommend this cabin to get away from it all and relax and hope to return in the next couple of years.

Adam’s place was fantastic! Adam and Sean are quick to reply back to any questions we had. Tons to do on the property if you want to stay in. Everyone on the farm is super friendly (especially the pups). Will definitely come back to see how the farm/projects shapes up.

I cannot say enough about how great Kevin and our stay was. Kevin responded quickly and was so accommodating to our last minute stay. The cabin itself was so comfy, with a great layout. We spent most of our time sitting on the deck watching the deer graze and frolic. Inside had everything you needed and more. The location was great, so close to everything but you felt like you were miles away with the peaceful surroundings. A beautiful gem!
