We had a wonderful two-night stay at this cozy cottage! The highlight was definitely the hot tub — perfect for relaxing after a day outdoors. The BBQ setup was great and made evening meals easy and enjoyable. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and surrounded by beautiful nature views, making it a peaceful escape from the city. We especially loved sitting on the deck and taking in the quiet, scenic surroundings. Would definitely come back for another getaway!

This was my first stay at PineCone Loft and it was exactly what I needed from a holiday. You can tell that Amanda-Lee wants your experience to be special. Her instructions and polite nature make your stay very comfortable. She is quick to respond to any questions, and you feel like you are her number one priority. The home and property are beautiful. Lots of space to walk around and decompress. I highly recommend this Air BnB.

We thoroughly enjoyed our relaxing getaway here! It was beautiful, clean, cozy and had amazing spa amenities! The bed was extremely comfortable. It was close to town which was convenient but also was completely secluded. Would love to go again

Fabulous stay. Started off right away with informative and fun communications. Easy cabin to find. Easy parking. Drive right up to the gorgeous and spacious porch. Lovely home. Squeaky clean...actually beyond squeaky clean. Comfortable. Great kitchen. Hot tub on patio is always hot and ready. Strong wifi. Saw the most gorgeous red fox ever streak across the property. We were there in June and we saw about a dozen different songbirds. Super fun, comfortable and peaceful weekend. Thank you, LaBerge Cabin for an A-plus weekend.

We had a great stay at this cabin, the view is lovely and the outdoor area is very comfortable. The pictures were accurate and the host was very proactive. There is another unit on the property, as is detailed on the listing, but it was not an issue for us and it is not visible from the outside areas, only when walking in the front door.

absolutely beautiful location, me and my wife loved our luxurious stay at the saltwater retreat. we enjoyed the sauna and Japanese tub. we drank our coffee by the ocean and watched the boats go by. it felt very private, like we had our very own spa. host was great, very responsive and helpful, clear instructions. house was stocked with cooking oil and spices, shampoo and conditioner and more! very nice location. very close to town to pickup groceries and see the sights, host provided helpful recommendations to local eats and hikes. would love to return one day!!

Perfect spot in the middle of nowhere :)

Very beautiful and spacious accommodations inside and around the property. The views are beautiful and backyard area was nicely situated to offer privacy. There is a fire pit and plenty of firewood provided, which we appreciated. The outdoor tub looked nice but was not used because it was still a bit cold for us. The inside of the home is comfortable, cozy and very clean. Only thing was the sink in the bathroom is very tiny but the shower was wonderful. There is a great hike a few miles down next to china beach that we enjoyed. It takes you to mystic beach which was really pretty. Also the cold shoulder cafe had yummy breakfast sandwiches with home made focaccia bread which is a must try. Aletta is very kind and responsive. We would love to come back again!

This is the 5th year we have rented Stefano's cottage. I am hard-pressed to find anything negative to say. The cottage is spectacularly beautiful, inside and out. The architecture is decidedly modern, but clearly fits in the surroundings of trees and the lake. Inside it is very cozy with neutral colours and great for either relaxing with a book and a coffee (or a bottle of wine!), a games night or an outdoor BBQ after a swim, a paddle or a hike. It is superbly quiet and a perfect place to get away from it all, yet keep the creature comforts, grocer a short drive; walking trails nearby, lakes are everywhere and the autumn leaves are nothing short of spectacular. Stefano is very accommodating in terms of providing information or answering questions, if any. We love the place so much I am hesitating to give it such a good review for fear of lots of people discovering it - I want to keep it my own hidden gem. But Stefano deserves an excellent review. Thank you Stefano, as always.

The place was absolutely amazing, as voiced by the other reviews too. The inside was immaculate, very wood themed and vintage including the utensils, bed, books, everything. It was easy to access, and fun to stay in. Had bonfire on the property and met another couple staying right next to us. The amenities were exactly as stated- got a couple of eggs too, and got to see the hens one early morning. Its secluded but not cut off, vintage pretty and kinda out of the world. Reg was very friendly- gave awesome recommendations, and responded within minutes always. 10/10 would visit again. Ps my partner saw a spider web in a corner of the washroom and freaked so got a laugh out of that as well but no spiders and more importantly no ghosts in this cabin in the woods thankfully 💯💯💯

It was our second time staying here and it won’t be the last 😄 We absolutely love it. We did self check in, since we have been there before . We did a nice walk with our two dogs , had a bbq dinner and simply enjoyed the natural scenery . A map is given so you know where on the property available for walking around .It was an extremely hot weekend , the a/c unit in the sleeping area kept us cool and comfy. It is a great get away from the city in a beautiful part of our province .

My stay at the cabin was perfect. A nice little get away with a peaceful atmosphere. The little creek running through was one of my favourite spots. Sitting on the moss covered boulders while the water flowed through and listening to the sounds of nature is just what i needed. I will definitely be back for my next adventure

My stay at the Ontario cabin was LOVELY. I was travelling with my medium/large sized dog and we had the perfect amount of space for both of us, along with her dog bed, and still had enough room to roll out my yoga mat 😌 Perfect spot if you have adventures planned because it’s close to so much! And the lake is just across the road with an amazing sand beach! We arrived late and the weather was wet so the bugs were extra friendly which unfortunately prevented us from spending more time outside around the cabin and beach but that’s okay because the bed was AMAZING! They have a great set up for their shower and outhouses too. Good spot if you are making a long trip and need a cozy place to sleep. Thanks Rob and Dana!

We had an amazing 3 nights at Rudy’s cabin. The cabin is charming, clean, and has everything you might need. The cabin, lake, and surrounding area makes it easy to unplug, slow down, and become inspired. Trip highlights: Visits with Zenji the dog, watching hummingbirds at the feeder, listening to the birds, as well as the occasional loon and owl, an evening thunderstorm, cozy fires in the cabin, swimming and canoeing off the shared dock, nearby waterfalls, gondola/hiking at Sun Peaks, a drive to the spectacular Helmcken Falls near Clearwater. Tips: Bring your favourite board game, a book, something to draw/paint with as this place will inspire you to do the things you liked doing before having a smart phone! We were nervous about the toilet but it was totally fine. Take a screen shot of Dave’s directions to the cabin as there is no service for the last bit of the drive. A few mosquitos so bug spray is good to have. Stay at least three nights if you can.

We had a lovely 4-day getaway at this modern log cabin. It was fully equipped with all the amenities we needed and provided a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere. Just a heads-up—there aren’t any restaurants nearby, so be sure to bring all your food and essentials. All in all, a great experience and excellent value for money!

What an amazing weekend! The cabin was the perfect spot to switch off from life/work and really relax! The cabin was stocked with everything we needed to prepare all the delicious food we brought and we just loved bbq'ing on the deck looking over the water 😍 James was a great host and ready with any info we needed! We will 100% be back!

Amazing property and location! The home, nearby river and surroundings were beautiful. This was the perfect mountain getaway.

One of our favourite Airbnb stays ever. An incredible cottage perched on a cliff with arguably the best view on Manitoulin Island—completely surrounded by nature. Mornings were filled with the peaceful sounds of songbirds, and the setting was so serene and relaxing. The cottage itself was spacious, modern, and well-appointed with thoughtful touches throughout. We especially loved the beautiful firepit in the backyard—perfect for evening gatherings. Just a heads-up: firewood is available for $15 per small bundle, so we’d recommend bringing your own if you can. We made so many amazing memories here, and we’ll definitely be back. Blair is a fantastic host—responsive, kind, and welcoming. Highly recommend this place.

My husband I used to be “locals” who lived not far from this fabulous property! We have been staying here for the last 10 years and it’s always better than the time before! It’s a beautiful peaceful unique property where we can enjoy the abundance of nature and the local wildlife. The cabin is authentic, cozy and just the amount of comfort and convenience. We can simply relax and enjoy ourselves here! Margret is a perfect host. She values our privacy at the same time makes sure we have everything we need and more! Still our favourite AirBnb experience! Had an incredible stay at this countryside cabin! If you’re looking to escape the noise of the city and truly relax, this is the place. The cabin is tucked away in a private, scenic area surrounded by nature – no neighbors in sight, just the sound of birds and rustling There was even a private outdoor deck and fire pit, perfect for evenings under the stars. Highly recommend for couples, solo travelers, or anyone needing a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home. I’ll definitely be returning!
