Absolutely amazing! Clean, cozy, safe, and only 24 stair steps to the beach!! The deck and living room window offered stunning views of the ocean. The bed was comfortable. A fire in the fire place was a great addition on the rainy days. The grass yard was perfect for our dog and we loved the visit from the bunny now and then. The host was awesome. We can’t wait to go back again!

Our stay was too short, but the cottage house was just perfect. The caretaker was very friendly and accommodating. Drinks, snacks, breakfast in the morning was above and beyond. We can’t wait to come back and stay longer.

The beach house was perfectly located on Newport Beach and had everything our travel group could have wanted. Clean, good amenities with a great little garden where you can light an evening fire! April was easy to reach and communication was quick and easy. We would definitely come back!

Quiet neighborhood with lots of space to spread out but also space to be together and hang out.

This home was beautiful and well stocked. It was a block from the beach and the view from the second floor was amazing.

Julie was very helpful and accommodating throughout. This is an easy Yachats village stay with a short walk to the store, restaurants, and beach.

Justin was good at communicating with us and we really enjoyed our stay. It was easy to walk into town and the house was clean and comfortable.

Cute place. Had all the amenities. Loved the front deck for morning coffee. Enjoyed the hot tub in the evenngs. Perfect close walk to the beach! Hope to come back again.

Such a great location and stay experience. It was so peaceful. Had everything you could possibly want and need, from blankets to horseshoes. The house has a cool story, and a one of a kind location. We brought our dog and we're appreciative of the fully fenced yard and dog amenities, like treats and a leash. We will be back!

For a small beach house, this place packed everything it could to make for an incredible stay. I loved everything about it, including one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The best part about it was the hot tub on the back deck, overlooking the ocean. I couldn't think of a better way to watch the sunset. It also had a path next to the house that had direct beach access. Next time I stay in Waldport, this will be the first place I will look for availability.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The property was spotless, beautifully maintained, and offered a relaxing atmosphere. The hosts were incredibly responsive and accommodating throughout our visit. We would definitely love to return in the future.

Perfect spot for my husband and I. Very cute home. Loved that it’s on a private street, so you feel like you’re on a little hidden getaway at the top of the hill but still close to all fun things in Newport! You can walk to coffee and a mini mart right down the road! Hope to book again!

Sharon’s cottage is a true hidden gem. Nestled in a beautifully secluded spot, it’s the perfect retreat if you’re looking to escape the noise and reconnect with nature. The photos simply don’t do it justice; the cottage is more peaceful in person than they can possibly capture. One of the things I appreciated most was the absence of Wi-Fi and limited cell service—it gave me the chance to truly unplug and unwind. There is a TV with a small collection of DVDs, which was a lovely touch for a quiet evening in (I'd recommend bringing your own favorites if you have any). The cabin is also dog-friendly, which made it even more special. If you’re a fan of solitude & quiet mornings this place is a dream. All in all, this cottage is a perfect little sanctuary. Thank you, Sharon, for creating such a special space.

Such a great little house! Pulling in, it appears small but inside it opens up with tons of light and an open concept that's really inviting. The neighborhood was very cute and quiet. There's a little path that runs along the river which was a nice evening walk. You're just up the hill from the main town area (which is quite small), and can walk to several restaurants right there. There is a small market and Dollar General that have anything you could need for groceries. The beds were all comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows/blankets/extra towels. The kitchen was well equipped with pots, pans, dishes, ect. We felt right at home! There were only 2 of us during this visit, but agreed that it would be a great house for a family to call home base. We would definitely come back if in the area again!

The cottage was as described. The beds were comfortable and the instructions were easy to follow for the WiFi and TV. We had a major plumbing issue the second day we were there and Mark had it taken care of the following day. It was a very peaceful area and lots of areas to walk and an easy walk to the Ocean as well as many places nearby to access the beach. We all enjoyed the stay thoroughly especially since the weather was beautiful.

There are 56 stairs from the house to the boathouse and every single one of them is worth it. Lynda’s boat house is amazing, it’s fun for sunny or rainy days, if you’re not sure of the weather while visiting 10 mile then this place is perfect because you can still be in the lake and have that experience from the indoors too. So fun for kids. The water on 10mile is not great from the pipes, not just at Lynda’s, we stay 10 mile a lot and this is just something about it, had a sulfur smell and taste. Lynda had good clean water there for us. Beds are not great, I heard from my friend that the bed in the guest house was good though. The two in the main house were difficult, I’m 36, I can do it but I also feel it. There is not shampoo or any of those types of amenities, there was a big bag of sample condition though, so be prepared to back your own cosmetics. She has a good amount of towels which is a necessity and was appreciated. The view was great,

Definitely a great place to stay if you're going to be out and about a lot. There was no TV which I loved, my kids weren't tempted to stay back. The back yard was cute. The place was very comfortable, the couch bed felt a bit sketch for my tall cousin(a little bumpy). Overall we had a great stay!

LOVED this little cabin. It was such a sweet space, with beautiful landscaping, and a homey feel. the beach access was incredible. Would stay here again in a heart beat.
