beautiful room and clean

Sumit is a great host, very responsive and kind, his place is very comfortable. Location is quite close to the airport but besides that there’s not much to do around.

Kamil responded very quickly when I booked, checked to see if I needed a lift from anywhere. He gave me a larger room, very comfortable. Nice dining room/lounge overlooking garden. Near bus stop. Useful to be able to use fridge, kitchen. Access by entering a code if Kamil isn't in. Venue very handy for visiting friend in sheltered housing nearby.

I stayed at Kamil's home for one night, and it was just what I needed. I had a good night's sleep, very quiet, and both the kitchen and bathroom were clean. I will definitely come back on my next trip to Edinburgh!

Very nice room. Ideal for easy one night stay

Kamil, was a fantastic host. As I was his first long stay rental he outlined his rules. Respect to privacy but also sociable and volunteered to take me with him when he did grocery shopping or going for take out meals. His place felt like a second home, and asked me before going into the room I rented if he had to access items stored there. The keyless door lock and outdoor camera made me feel secure. With the kitchen I had my own cupboard space as well as space in the fridge and freezer for my food, as well as instructed me in the use of the cooker and washing machine ( different from Canada).

The inside of the property is identical to the photos on air bnb, Allegra communicated really well, everything was explained clearly from where the keys were kept, to WiFi codes and what to do when leaving the property. The apartment is on the ground floor, there wasn't any noise from the neighbours above, and the neighbours we did bump into were friendly and helpful. The kitchen cupboards offered Tea, Coffee, sugar etc .... Transport links were fantastic and we got the bus into Edinburgh City Centre from a bus stop literally 2 minutes round the corner, the bus journey was about 20 minutes. A taxi back when it rained cost about £10 which was a bargain. There were hundreds of takeaway options on Just Eat that deliver to the apartment which was handy on an evening, and there was a pharmacy and small shop literally round the corner to get milk, bread, wine etc ... Overall the apartment was well worth what we paid for it.

I spent nearly four months in Wendy's accommodation. I had a great time there! The apartment itself offers great views, and the room is very comfortable. It is easily accessible by bus and has a good connection to the city centre and main University Campus, as well as being close to a big supermarket and the beach. Being on the outskirts of the city and by the sea, it made it very easy to find peace, walking along the beach or visiting my personal favourite place, Newhailes Estate. For those coming to study here: the bus connection to the University of Edinburgh's King's Buildings is not great, especially on the way back, and if you'll have to be there a lot I'd recommend getting a bicycle, which is about twice as fast. Wendy is a very friendly host, who is usually not home during the day but if you run into her and she has time she will be open for a chat - for example sharing stories or music. She loves baking, and might leave something she made in the fridge for you!

Excellent place to stay! Amazing location, has everything you need. Great communication, easy check-in. Very affordable - I’ll definitely be staying when I visit Edinburgh again.

This was an amazing stay! All of the beds were extremely comfortable, including the pull-out couch! The couches were extremely comfortable as well. Everything was extremely clean and well-kept. The projector and cozy couches made for the perfect night in. The neighborhood was adorable as well! It was not only walkable to city center but also very quiet and cozy. The river walk next to the accommodation was lovely. I highly recommend this accommodation for anyone looking for a cozy, accessible home away from home in Edinburgh.
