Tethera Nook is the South East wing of Hylands with wonderful views. Set over three floors, surrounded by beautiful gardens, it has been renovated with great care, to the highest standard of design, using quality materials and finishes. It's a place to rest and unwind, to wander and sit in a garden full of wildlife, to gaze at the ever-changing views. It's 12 minutes walk from Kendal town center's many independent shops and restaurants and 5 minutes walk to our local pub the Riflemans Arms

There are many wonderful walks and bike rides available from the front door. Stays start Mondays or Fridays.

West View Beach House - Cumbrian Coast
West view is a luxury property located directly on Nethertown beach. It is in a tranquil area with amazing sea views. It has a dog friendly beach, is great for fishing, has lots of wildlife and has the most stunning sunsets. In winter, enjoy cosy evenings with the fire lit. An ideal base for exploring the Western Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. It is surrounded by scenic walks and activities. It is close to St Bees coast to coast walk too. Please note- We no longer have a hot tub.

The Old Potting Shed is a romantic hideaway for two set in the walled garden of the owners' house with its own private entrance. The retreat is totally secluded, but still just a minutes walk to Sedbergh's lovely pubs and cafes. It's the perfect base: head out walking in the hills straight from your door or use our electric bikes to explore the quiet lanes. When you get back, soak in the wood fired hot tub and enjoy a drink on the terrace while admiring the wonderful view of the fells.

The perfect romantic retreat, Swallows Rest, is a converted 18th century hay barn. Belonging to the 17th century Grade II listed High Greenrigg House, it offers all the modern conveniences whilst retaining the character of such an historic building. The ground floor contains an open plan living room, dining area and fully fitted kitchen. There is a utility room accessed via a low stone doorframe. Upstairs is a mezzanine floor with king size bed, balcony and luxurious shower room
