Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Cottage Grove

This beautiful home is located right off Grand Avenue which has so many shopping and dining options. The off-street parking is a major bonus for this fabulous location. The home is great for a large family gathering. However, one thing to be aware of, there are no main floor bedrooms. All bedrooms are on the second or third floor, so if stairs are challenging, that’s one thing to consider. Otherwise, this place is super well stocked, absolutely beautiful, and in an unbeatable location.

The place was perfect. Right in downtown Prescott. Walking distance to all the restaurants that are in town. All the restaurants she listed were great. The house was absolutely charming. All beds even the sofa bed was comfortable. Plenty of bedding for every room. Furniture is all up to date. It’s nice to have a washer and dryer available to do our clothes as needed. Another big plus was she reached out to me the day before and was kind enough to let us check in early which I didn’t even ask for. So thank you Wendy. After early flight it was nice to lay down for a moment.

Wonderful stay! The home was clean, spacious, and perfect for our multi-generational family trip. Excellent location for Mall of America visitors and Saint Paul attractions. The neighborhood felt very safe, even for babies and toddlers. Both hostesses responded in minutes and were very thoughtful. Highly recommend!"

Jeremy was a great host! He was very responsive, kind and compassionate. Nice quiet neighborhood and we felt right at home as soon as we walked through the doors. We were very pleased with our stay and will definitely be back in the future.

Absolutely loved my stay at Dayton House! A peaceful, spotless, dreamy little spot in a beautiful walkable neighbourhood. Kyra could not have been more kind and friendly. I felt so welcome and the space was perfect - so many amenities in a wonderfully finished space. It felt tucked away and private with plenty of room and beautiful skylights to wake up to. Will definitely be booking again next time I'm visiting Saint Paul!

Ivan’s place was absolutely beautiful! Perfect for a family gathering with lots of space! Great location-central to everything the Twin Cities has to offer!

We had such a wonderful time at Kimberly’s place. It was exactly as described and she was an excellent and proactive communicator! The property had so many fun amenities that we didn’t even have time to try them all. We kept dreaming of the fire pit and sitting at the table playing board games and we never had time. This house was perfect for our family to come together (from 4 different states) and spend the weekend living like a family. There was plenty of space and the house was so well stocked, we wanted for nothing. The beds were very comfortable and the house was spotless. We hope to come stay again sometime in the future.

Great little house to stay in for a few days! Basement bathroom could have been a little nicer. But everything else was perfect. Would stay here again if I make it back to Minnesota!

Highly recommend Brenda’s place. Brenda and Brian were both very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay in St Paul and would come back again.

Bob & Lisa’s home was very beautiful & we felt right at home! Bob came out & greeted us soon as we got there, showed us around, & we’re always willing to help if needed! They are such wonderful hosts! We’ll definitely be back in the future!(:

Everything was lovely! Only thing, and I could have missed this, I was not aware it was a duplex and we were slightly worried we would be too loud. When we arrived Debbie’s mother greeted us immediately to let us know that if we needed anything she was downstairs. The home was beautiful, and overall no complaints.

Rupinder is an excellent host. He has an eye for detail. It was nice to have coffee and cream, sparkling water, and plenty of other items in the well stocked apartment. Lots of comfortable pillows and the beds were excellent too. It was very quiet and we slept well. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay.

we had an unfortunate event happen but thankfully the neighbors and hosts were quick to help and help us solve our issue. great location, conveniently right between all the stadiums. deep bathtub with lots of hot water! comfortable bed with good pillows! coffee, pop, water and oatmeal provided!

A great place. Cozy but spacious. Super clean. We didn’t arrive until after 10 PM, but Susan was fine with that.

Andy was everything you could ask for in a host. He was very responsive and helpful but never intrusive. His place is lovely and very clean! The bed and linens in the main bedroom were extremely comfortable! The back yard had many unique features that, unfortunately, I ran out of time to take advantage of - next time for sure! Andy provides many thoughtful touches including a guidebook to the unit and surrounding area. So many interesting restaurants and things to do within walking distance and close to major highways when a car is needed. I highly recommend a stay here!

It was a nice relaxing space! Enjoyed the short visit. Really enjoyed sitting on the patio and listening to the sounds of summer.

Everything was great! Very clean, great location, and great host. We just wish our coffee maker would have worked!

The place looks exactly like what you see in the photos. It is welcoming and in a peaceful location. The house has everything you will need, and it is very clean. Brenda is nice and provided clear instructions. We spent little time at the house as we were there for a working trip, but it was great to have a comfortable place to get back to after long days of data collection.

Ashley’s and Charles’ place was wonderful! It’s like a European cottage in the woods of Wisconsin. “Cottage” because of the sweet, homey, personal touches (like the China that is the same pattern that my wife’s my grandparents had at their house!) and yet not little by any means—open concept and beautiful views of the Apple River. We were here celebrating our anniversary and it was so peaceful! The main suite in the loft is romantic with a comfortable king bed and a separate shower and soaking tub. There’s also a bedroom on the main floor with twin bunks and a double bed tucked in. It was comfortable with A/C and heat and wood stove, which we never got around to using. Ashley was quick to respond to a couple of questions we had, and everything was clean and the kitchen well-stocked for all our needs. We highly recommend this sweet getaway!

We had a lovely peaceful stay. Very well equipped cabin, very clean and great amenities. Really enjoyed relaxing in the Hot Tub under the stars. Would recommend!

The Backwater was an amazing location for our girls' getaway. We love the water and the outdoors, and the cabin provided the perfect combination of natural surroundings and creature comforts. Most of the weekend was spent on the screened-in porch, listening to the birds and frogs. There are multiple comfortable and beautifully decorated indoor and outdoor gathering spaces; we needed more time to enjoy them all! The location is quiet and peaceful, and we even enjoyed watching a fawn walk through the yard. The house is beautifully decorated with unique and interesting items that serve as conversation starters. We even found a circus book containing pictures of our family's old circus posters from years ago! The scavenger hunt was great fun, but we didn't manage to find everything on the list. Sarah is an amazing host. She responded to questions quickly and provided everything that we needed. The kitchen is well-stocked. It's also a short drive to town for any forgotten items.

I just wanted to say this place was very homey, close enough to the city and super easy to get to. This home had many games and activities to do at the location, for kids and adults. The place was clean and super easy to access. If you’re into the lake life this place is awesome, big dock, clear lake, and lots of fish for viewing or catching. Kevin is a super awesome host. We loved staying at Chris’s place. We came in to town to see family and enjoy the snow. Sadly the weather didn’t cooperate and we only saw a small amount of snow the evening we arrived. But what can ya do?! Chris was incredibly responsive and attentive, even checking in with us the next morning as we had let him know we’d be arriving late on our check in day. The house was adorable and comfortable, we look forward to renting in the future when we come up to see family.

A very nice place to stay for a weekend in Stillwater. The log cabin house is homey with wonderful views of Bass Lake. Robert meet us when we got there and went through the house and answered all of our questions. Would definitely stay there again.
