Light, bright and airy attached guest house with queen bed, full kitchen (no dishwasher), tub/shower and small private patio. You’ll enter the living room with full glass slider that over looks patio. Step up to the kitchen with full fridge/stove/microwave/dining table. Bathroom has deep tub/shower washer/dryer. From living room you step down to enter the serene bedroom with full bed, vaulted ceilings and dimming-recessed lights. Each of the main rooms has ceiling fans. 10% TOT tax in price

The home is a block from Bidwell Park with swimming holes, hiking and playgrounds at our doorstep. It is a short drive/bike ride down Vallombrosa Avenue to the University and downtown Chico and is filled with books, musical instruments, and places to relax for families or couples/friends traveling together. Absolutely NO SMOKING inside or out. Please contact host if interested in booking the backyard studio for an additional nightly cost.

This charming studio is cozy, clean, and beautiful. We are located on the edge of college town, about a mile from downtown, and close to iconic Chico locations (Bidwell Park, Bidwell Mansion, various music and theater venues, local dining and coffee shops, and more). Excellent hiking, biking, bird watching; outstanding dining and shopping; world class university; music and theater; all nearby.

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. Our cozy guest house is right in the middle of Chico’s historic avenues. One mile from Chico State University and downtown. Also In walking distance to Enloe Medical Center. If you enjoy strolling through Local Markets, you will be within a mile of Chico’s year around Farmers Market.

Cottage By The Creek on Bidwell Ave

The cottage is a private cottage located behind my house. It can accommodate 2-3 people (there is a $25/night charge for a third person). There is a queen size bed in the bedroom, a couch in the living room, plus a blow-up mattress. We are located 1-mile from town and a 10 min. walk to Chico State.
