Had a great stay here, would definitely recommend. Perfect for a couple or small family. Mostly private surroundings. It was nice and quiet during the weekdays and weekend, exactly what we were looking for!

What a lovely stay! This historic home is full of charm and thoughtful touches—from the carefully curated decor to the cozy, welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. The attention to detail is clear in every room, and it’s obvious the hosts take great pride in the space. The natural lighting throughout the house was absolutely beautiful—soft, warm, and made every corner feel bright and inviting. Mornings with coffee by the window were a daily highlight. One of our favorite features was the backyard—it felt like our own private retreat. The landscaping was beautiful, and the jacuzzi? Absolutely perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Quiet, peaceful, and totally relaxing. If you’re looking for a place with character, comfort, and a little slice of tranquility, this is it. Highly recommend!

My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We walked to the beach to boogie board, went to the boardwalk and enjoyed the local farmer’s market. The house was amazing and more than we expected. We enjoyed the backyard with all of its amenities including the hot tub and outdoor shower especially after coming back from a day at the beach. Shari was very proactive in her communications and we are looking forward to coming back again for a longer visit.

Cara’s place is a gem and we’re glad we found it. The perfect getaway from the busy Bay Area. Certainly, the creek just beneath really is the unique part of the whole experience. Of course we loved the hot tub and all other amenities too!

We absolutely loved the Ivy House. The cottage was a perfect place to relax after a busy day, but the grounds were beautiful enough that we didn't feel the need to go anywhere. We had a lovely time and would love to visit again!

We had a wonderful and comfortable stay at Griffin's in a location so close to Yosemite yet private and serene without any tourist vibe. It was the best place to unwind together each evening and start the day (with coffee on the deck) each morning. Griffin's house is spacious, inviting, and fully equipped. we cooked meals for four each night. The kitchen has everything you need. the bedrooms are huge with plenty of storage, comfortable beds and linens, and plenty of towels. we were grateful to have a full size w-d for laundry and were pleasantly surprised by the. hot tub (a treat!) and ping pong table (evening fun!). Don't miss out on this perfect opportunity to stay in the mountains, close to a grocery store, with a real feeling of home Griffin had everything covered so all we had to do was unpack and unwind!

Loved the property. Very peaceful. The best part was walking around in the morning, listening to bird song (identified 30 species) and enjoying a cup of coffee.

A great cabin if you are looking for a little get away from near by cities or traveling internationally to head to Yosemite. Booked this lovely cabin for a birthday weekend with the girls. Very spacious. Used the full kitchen to be able to bake a cake and have a wholesome dinner made. TWO BATHROOMS!! Just a little heads up, neighbors are very close by and not as secluded (closed off) as we thought but that’s okay! We ended up making friends with a neighbor close by anyway & overall great experience.

This cottage is a little gem in a desirable part of the city. The upstairs sleeping loft is spacious and well laid out with plenty of closet and drawer space. We loved the thoughtful touches like high-quality coffee, a bottle of wine, extra sheets and towels, and attractive decor and books. Host Johnny was very responsive to our questions about the heating unit and fixed it right away. Not a problem for the physically agile, but guests should be aware that the outdoor side entrance is maybe 24 inches wide, and that the steep loft stairs are necessary to navigate to use the bathroom. Overall, a wonderful stay with a kind and thoughtful host!

My wife and I stayed here on our honeymoon! It was our first stop in California and it was absolutely worth it! The accommodations were beautiful, the kitchen made it easy for us to eat meals together at home, and furniture was clean and very comfortable! We would definitely recommend staying here!

Lovely place, quiet, very clean and cozy and with a comfy bed and great view of the hillside. Everything was just as described and Patricia was very helpful and lovely. We also appreciated being able to bring our dog too. The place is close to Carmel Valley Village and not far from it there’s a wonderful walking area next to Carmel river .

I think I literally gasped when I got out of the car. Walking across the bridge over the creek, I felt like I was entering an enchanted cottage. The setting is so beautiful, the cottage was sparkling clean and just the right size for me, and everything worked perfectly. Sitting outside on the patios with my dogs, listening to the flowing stream, and just relaxing was heavenly. However, it's probably not for everyone. The owner rightly warns against small children (that lovely flowing creek). It worked well with my dogs. I brought a couple long leads and they were happy staying beside me outside. If you have dogs who tend to dash off, be careful, because the property is not fenced. It's also a bit of a chore to unload and load the car, carrying everything across the bridge. For me, it was totally worth it.

Such a peaceful, quaint, cozy cottage surrounded by beautiful Redwoods, and a short drive to the ocean. Can't wait to return to Sofanya's property in the future!

The home was an absolute great addition to our visit to Sequoia. It is nestled beautifully next to a hill side with a running creek across the street. There is a nice patio to sit outside and enjoy nature. We were fortunate enough to spot a deer on the property.

The little red house was a perfectly peaceful getaway after running around enjoying the sights and visiting Yosemite. Great proximity to different entrances to Yosemite The home was perfectly comfortable for a small group.

We had a great two-night stay at this cozy spot! The location was easy to find and super convenient. The space itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive and accommodating—made check-in smooth and hassle-free. We would definitely stay here again on another visit!

We stayed at Vickey’s nice & cozy house to explore Yosemite NP. We found it very near to the NP Gate. Around 50 min to the gate. It’s the best alternative over staying inside the Park. Vickey’s house meets all our requirements and would definitely recommend to others.

Enjoyed the stay. The outdoor patio was amazing at night with the lights and peaceful atmosphere. House was clean and host was very responsive.

Really awesome spot! Claire was extremely accommodating, responsive, helpful, and warm/welcoming without being overbearing. The unit is attached to their main home, but I felt like I had all the privacy I needed for sure. Sometimes I would hear them, but I never actually saw anyone else. Some accessibility notes: parking is right in front of the front door to the studio on a gravel driveway. Three steps to get to the front door of the studio, which itself is quite small and everything is packed pretty close together, so it would be difficult a to wheel a chair through there, but it could definitely be done aside from the 3 steps. Shower (beautiful) had a big ledge in it that could effectively be used as a bench, and it also had a detachable handheld showerhead. There’s a beautiful pool, cute animals, and overall gorgeous and peaceful outdoor setting. If you’re sensitive to noise, there’s a train that goes by regularly and occasional dog barks/coyote cries, but they provide earplugs

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location, nestled in a forest. We spent four restful days exploring the natural beauty of the 17-mile drive, walking in the forests, relaxing on the beaches, visiting historical locations such as the Carmel Mission and the lighthouse in Pacific Grove, and enjoying fine dining nearby. The full kitchen was nice to have for breakfasts, lunch preparation, and for evenings when we chose to eat in. Well provided with amenities and descriptions of how to operate the appliances and electronics. The hosts made check-in and check-out very easy and convenient.
