Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Central California

Great space and loved the access to the gym. The only thing that may be an issue for taller people, is the shower head. I’m 5’1 so it was perfect but if you are taller the shower is very small and the shower head is very low. Over great decor and amenities.

Great place to stay. Very convenient to everywhere in SF. Lots of board game and PS4 + switch available. Altho the light has changed from the picture, but the lighting was pretty extensive. Something to notice are 1. The heat was a bit loud. 2. It’s a kinda old and fragile building. You can feeling house is shaking whenever a car pass by the street. The host was super nice and responsive!

We had an excellent stay! Unit was spacious and updated. We love the pool at Juniper Springs and this was definitely the nicest unit we’ve stayed at. We’ll be back next year!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Roseann's place. Perfect instructions as to how to enter. The home was clean and comfortable. We were very thankful for the coffee and the coffee pot :) Great view of the golf course. A lovely place for a quiet get away!

Great location and very comfortable space. The kitchen was nicely stocked with utensils to make cooking easy. There's a dedicated parking spot right in front of the unit, if you have a tall or long vehicle like a truck it might not fit in the spot and there are limited uncovered spaces to park. The AC is in the living room and doesn't get back to the bedroom very well which isn't a problem unless it's a really hot day. There was one day that was 90°F and the bedroom didn't cool off. The living room and couch are comfortable and a nice spot to unwind.

Book this home for my boyfriend and I while we were visiting family and it was great! The hosts were very friendly and were very helpful as well. Would definitely book a stay here again next time we visit SJ!

This was an amazing stay in seaside. The apartment was clean and full of character. It was very welcoming, had a very at home feeling, and to make it even better it was 420 friendly. We will definitely be staying here again in the future. Thank you to our host for the hospitality, quick replies, and the pleasure of renting the apartment for the weekend!

Our family’s stay was a wonderful experience. The condo was clean and stocked with plenty of blankets and linens, and beds were very comfy! Great walkable restaurants and a family-friendly pool and close access to the trails for plenty of fun made for a great stay all around!

Staying at this Airbnb was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warmth and thoughtfulness—fresh local flowers, many beautiful books related to the neighborhood in reading material. The space was immaculately clean, beautifully designed, with everything I could need—toiletries to fast Wi-Fi .The host went above and beyond, checking in to ensure everything was perfect. It felt less like a rental and more like a five-star boutique hotel with the heart of a home. I truly didn’t want to leave!” This is a real heartfelt space in the middle of my home town that provided the soulful connection to home.

The home was very clean and was just the right size for 2 people. I loved having coffee and popcorn provided. Even though the balcony view is of the parking lot, the lot is full of beautiful pine trees. You can also see part of the lake from the balcony & the stars are beautifu out there at night. The host was quick to respond. We found it really helpful that cleaning supplies were available. The washers and dryers down the hall worked great and we appreciated having laundry pods available. The pools and spas were great. Everywhere you look is beautiful. It was nice that beach supplies and bikes were available - such a nice touch. The place was nice and quiet while also being close to the stores and restaurants. You can rent scooters to get places right outside the gates. We had such a wonderful trip and stay.

Second time staying at Natalie’s condo. Loved our stay. Lots of new upgrades. Can’t beat the location to Eagle lodge!

We had a wonderful time in a beautiful location. Check in was a breeze and the condo couldn’t be better located. We were very comfortable with the beds and the small touches made this stay memorable. Thankful to have options for coffee and little snacks. Hope to return soon, this place stood out.

Jarrod and Maria‘s apartment was amazing. Both beds were super comfortable. It was clean and quiet and really well stocked. The host was available immediately for anything that we needed - 10 out of 10. I would definitely come back and stay here again it was perfect. We always got a parking spot. We felt safe and secure. The verandah was great to sit on and have coffee. We used at more as a base to come home to and it was so welcoming and cosy. Thanks so much. X

Very nice and clean. Game room was lots to do for adults and children. Hot tub was a bonus very relaxing . House has a lot of accommodations for little ones which was another big bonus. I’d say a 5 star and highly recommend for a large family very spacious and lots to do especially out door nature as a family was really enjoyable. Host was very friendly and responded very quickly. Thanks for the great stay! Very lovely home.

Staying at The Bask House was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, Jess made us feel incredibly welcome. She was warm, responsive, and provided thoughtful touches throughout the home that made our stay seamless and relaxing. The house itself is stunning, beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, and filled with natural light. Every detail was clearly designed with care and comfort in mind. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were plush and cozy, and the outdoor spaces were peaceful and inviting. Whether we were sipping coffee on the porch in the morning or enjoying a glass of wine under the stars at night, every moment at The Bask House felt special. It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel at home, but also completely spoiled. The location was ideal for what we wanted to do, close enough to everything we needed, yet quiet and serene. Jess provided fantastic recommendations and truly went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience.

Alaina's cabin is paradise. Gorgeous setting looking over Pine Mountain Lake. Beautiful space inside. Our family of 7 enjoyed all the rooms and amenities. Kayaking and paddle boarding. Playing board games on the deck. Meals at the large dining table. It was perfection and I highly recommend! Alaina answered all questions quickly and with kindness. 10/10

The perfect place to stay for a few nights when visiting the area. Wendy was great and flexible, the place was clean and homey with great nearby shops.

We had a wonderful stay at Michael’s property and he was the perfect host! The house is so comfortable and has every amenity you need. We really appreciated the EV charger, Apple TV, snacks (fresh eggs in the fridge, granola bars, cookies, wine and more), charging stations in the bedroom, and well stocked kitchen (Chemex with filters!). The location can’t be beat as it’s a short walk to downtown and across the street from the Railroad District restaurants and cafes. Michael was extremely easy to communicate with and answered all our questions promptly. This Airbnb is truly a gem in SLO and we would love to stay again!

I can not say enough about how rejuvinating it was to stay at Matt's stunning home in Mill Valley. Our ONLY regret was that we did not stay for long enough. Matt is extremely kind, open and responsive. Waking up in the trees, taking a dip in the tub with morning coffee, and watching the deer walk by was our favorite past time. We took afternoon walks along the tree lined trail right in the back yard which was an incredible perk. Once you are there, you never truly never want to leave. The beds are extremely comfortable, water pressure is great and the home is stocked with all the amenities you might need. We stopped at Whole Foods on our way in to stock up for the first few meals --- we were so glad we did that and highly recommend. The house is located up the winding roads and then 100 stairs to climb up, but that is what makes it the spectaular experience it is. We can't wait to get back. Thank you, Matt!

Beautiful home. It was spacious, warm and inviting. Perfect for our trip to Santa Cruz/Capitola. Would happily stay here again!
