House vacation rentals in Burry Port

I cannot overstate how amazing this place is. I was looking for an escape into the woods and it was exactly what I wanted. The setting of the cottage is stunning, right on the river and surrounded by trees. It feels remote, even though it's only a short walk into the village. The welcome was really friendly, you can tell that the owners are very active in their community and have put together loads of local info. I particularly liked the map of the community forrest which made me feel confident enough to explore walks by myself. The cottage itself is beautifully kept, with everything that you need, and then some. I didn't want to leave.

Emma was a fantastic host! Her house was amazing and we felt right at home! She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and we even had some little extras like access to the garden and a late check out. We want to come back as soon as we can! A perfect weekend away with our best friends and kids. 🥰😍

We had a fantastic stay, the house was lovely and had everything we could need. Walking distance into Tenby was very handy (if you don’t mind a hill). Host was great with detailed instructions. We would love to stay again.

What a lovely little secret place! Absolutely beautiful 40 acres to roam & wander with the dogs. Play area for kids with a mega trampoline, and a well heated swimming pool, which can be booked for up to 2 hours of private use, at no extra charge. I stayed in Robin. A lovely little cottage, perfect for solo travellers or couples, and dogs, of course! Large, private SECURE lawn at the back, with beautiful views. Dogs & kids can be free-range and interact, if appropriate. The cottage is lovely, very homely and comfortable, what you'd expect with kids & dogs running riot! Very clean, all mod cons - dishwasher/tv/internet/iron/hairdryer. Everything you could want. Beautiful lake fir fishing or just strolling around. Well done Alex, Jess, Rob & Chris. X

Such a lovely place for our multigenerational family to enjoy the long weekend together. The highlights were definitely the pool and the large lounge where we spent lots of time together but didn't feel ontop of each other! Richard's excellent communication added to the overall positive experience. We highly recommend this cottage!

A fantastic few days away. The house is beautiful and in a gem of a location. Definitely would visit again!

From the moment we walked in, we were wowed by Rob's place. Such a beautiful place with more than enough space to accommodate 12 of us and our doggo. Three generations; me, hubby, my 3 sons, my son's partner and their 6 children all thoroughly enjoyed our stay, making the most of the views and the wonderfully heated pool which is so much bigger than it seems once you're actually in it. The children loved being here and behaved so well, and they gained a much needed confidence in the water of the pool, with some of them learning to swim! Rob was a lovely host, very responsive. We all agreed that we would absolutely love to return.

We stayed at Croft Farm as an extended family and we had an early Christmas dinner. Kitchen was well equipped to handle all this and plenty of room at the dinner table. Lots of room in all bedrooms and living room. We didn't get to feed the animals but that would have been great to do with our young daughter. We will definitely be returning.

Such a beautiful spacious one bed cottage, with gorgeous gardens surrounding and Helen was friendly and helpful. The cottage was spotlessly clean and bigger than we expected. Walking through the gate in the wall was like walking into the secret garden. A perfect base and everything needed was there and a shop close by. We hope to stay again one day.

I had a lovely week away; it was so very peaceful and calming. Kim was a great host and was not intrusive at all. I enjoyed walks on the beach with my dog. All I could hear around the cottage were sheep, buzzards and pheasants - absolute bliss! The cottage has everything you need for a wonderful week away from it all. Thank you!

Very quaint cottage, 30 seconds from Kidwelly Castle and (in my view) the best pub in Kidwelly - The Moathouse. Easy to find, parking outside, all amenities you’d need and even a cosy breakfast nook out the back. Peaceful place with plenty of character given it’s such an old building.

A great find! Set in a picturesque location. The property was well equipped, spotless and very comfortable. Anyone wanting to visit Wales should definitely consider this. We will definitely be back.

Lovely cwtch - thank you - clean and inviting . And, of course, the most amazing bed and bed linen - so comfy . Loved the walk from the back onto the marsh road and along the salt marshes to the two pubs in the next village Llanrhidian - just a shame it was a scramble over a fench to get on the footpath - no gate. Had to carry Flo the Viszla over ! Unless, course, we got it wrong ?!!

We had a fantastic stay for a family get together. The house is lovely and in a wonderful spot and not far from cardigan, Mwnt and lots of lovely beaches and amenities. Katerina was lovely and very helpful and house was immaculate. We loved the Sauna and sitting on the deck watching the birds. Super tranquil and lovely break thanks so much!

The location is fantastic and views were great over the estuary. Sitting out in the evenings was exquisite - the sunset was directly across from the terrace! The property is spacious and well furnished with all that you would need for a comfortable stay. The host was very proactive and accessible. Happy to recommend this property.

Excellent stay in a very pleasant and comfortable house. Extremely clean and well-furnished. Julika made sure we had all instructions to get to her place and enjoy our stay. Very convenient to store bikes too. We definitely recommend Julika's place!

Johnathan was a very responsive host. The property was ideal for our larger family. The property is situated a stones throw away from the most beautiful beach. The rooms are clean, light and airy. All bathrooms were equipped with soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Johnathon even gave us a late check out on the Sunday morning because of the weather which was very much appreciated

Perfect location to get the family together for a long Easter weekend. Location is well placed for local beaches. Good sized table for board games and the outside pizza oven was fun to try. When the weather allowed we played boules and table tennis on the good sized lawn and we had a great time. Mark was helpful and made us feel at home. The Internet is a bit iffy and watching streaming TV had a fair amount of buffering and glitches but about do-able and fair enough for the very rural location. Would visit again. Thanks Mark. (The neighbouring cat is very friendly too)

The lodge was absolutely beautiful. Furnished and equipped with top quality furniture and appliances. The sofa and beds were really comfy and all bedrooms having an en-suite was brilliant. We were welcomed by everyone there including when we ate in the pub, which is a must when staying. The food was delicious, the atmosphere warm and welcoming and the bars and gardens so lovely to sit in. All in all, we had a wonderful stay. The peaceful surroundings and the warm welcome made it just perfect. Thank you.

What a fantastic property! Located very centrally and so well equipped. The beds were very comfortable and the whole place was immaculately clean. Cecilia was a brilliant host, friendly and welcoming. Some extra touches such as lovely toiletries and food items made our stay extra special! I especially appreciated the generous amount of coffee pods and the milk frother! Diolch Cecilia. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Vicky & Logan's place because our original Airbnb accommodation cancelled the previous week. We were fortunate to find it at such short notice. ~We were a little skeptical about it being "dog-friendly" as we are not dog people but we were pleasantly surprised. The cleaner was just leaving when as arrived at 3pm and the whole place looked fantastic. The furniture was comfortable although a little worn in places. Lovely fresh bedding and beautifully fluffy towels. The kitchen/family area worked really well for us with our son and two grandchildren. The second lounge was useful too for the kids. The Hot tub was a major benefit, especially as the weather turned murkey. The proximity to the coastal path is brilliant. Lots of lovely walks and beaches close by too. Its such a beautiful area. There is a local shop and a little (not cheap) cafe which was useful for lunch the rainy first day. The hosts were superfast to respond to all of our needs - Thank you so much

Stunning home and surroundings. Everything you need and more within the house, Catherine has thought of every detail. The house is so spacious making it perfect for families and larger groups. Rooms are stunning and en-suites just add to it. We would certainly recommend this house :) Even more stunning in person than it is on photos!
