Beautiful apartment in a stunning location. Gavin is very friendly and provided some great suggesions for areas to explore in the local area. The Instructions for finding the property were very clear. Everything was very clean and functioning. Also really liked the undercover car park. The property is also walking distance to shops and restaurants. The Bouys in Nelson Bay is an amazing restaurant/cafe and very close to the property, absolutely incredible food. Overall, it was a great stay! 😄

We felt right at home at Cindy’s place. Very clean and tidy, and overall a really lovely place to stay. Cindy was responsive, and very easy to talk to. Highly recommend!

Lovely clean apartment would highly recommend

My visit was to catchup with my 2 besties from high school who we hadn’t been together for 36 years. It was so nice to have a place where we could stock up stay in and prepare meals and relax. As you could imagine we had lots to talk about so staying in was the best option for us. Lori’s hospitality and her beautiful apartment was just what we needed. Great kitchen with an outdoor bbq on a big verandah. Super comfy bed and as new bathrooms. Perfect! We will be back! Loved it! Thanks again Lori!

Our stay at this beautiful waterside home was nothing short of magical. The location is absolutely stunning — waking up to the gentle sounds of the water and enjoying coffee on the deck with that view was a dream. One of the highlights of our trip was seeing dolphins swimming right past the house! It was such a peaceful and unforgettable moment. The house itself was spotless, well-equipped, and clearly cared for with love. The hosts were incredibly kind and responsive, making check-in a breeze and offering great local tips. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a serene getaway by the water!

We had a fantastic stay at Chris' place. Central, well kept, nice view of the river and stocked with all the things that make it feel like a home more than a rental. Would definitely stay again!

just a couple of noisy neighbours with loud inconsidersate music and crying child which spoilt it juts a tad.

Insa was very responsive whenever we had any questions and attended to our needs immediately. Her place was spotless and cosy and had everything you would need for a comfortable stay, including small details like electric blanket to keep you warm in bed.

Perfect place for a family get together - had everything we needed- and enjoyed a walk to the lake and a drive to the nearby beaches.

A tranquil getaway! A beautiful home on a small property only 10 minutes out of Wingham. The house itself was gorgeous, there was plenty of room for the 6 of us with different spaces to relax and unwind. The kitchen and bbq were perfect, as were the inside and outdoor fires! We’d love to return if the occasion arises! Hosts were also very friendly, very responsive and helpful!

We had an amazing, relaxing family holiday here. Such a gorgeous home that had a lot of character. The front and back of the property was beautifully landscaped. Pool was well maintained and felt very private. We loved the different living spaces. Host was great at communicating with us. We would come again, thank you so much!

Absolutely loved our stay at this beach shack! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the cozy charm and unbeatable location. The house was clean, well-equipped, and had such a relaxed, inviting vibe. We spent our days lounging on the deck, soaking up the lakeside breeze, and walking to the lake just a stone's throw away. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and provided thoughtful touches, like beach towels, a well-equipped kitchen, and even a great collection of books for those lazy afternoons. It felt like a home away from home, and we couldn't have asked for a better getaway. If you're looking for a peaceful, beautiful spot to recharge and enjoy the beaches, this is the place! What a beautiful home and location. Liz and Tom were helpful from booking through to checkout. The house is so well equipped and peaceful…. We didn’t end up leaving… except to walk to the beautiful and very quiet beach! The pool is perfect and there was lots of room to sit, relax and read a book! We will definitely be back! We had a wonderful stay at Adam's place. Loved the large deck - great for kids and adults alike. Everything was as per the description and photos on the website. It is a lovely open plan space. Everything you might need is within walking distance supermarket, bakery, Cafe, Golf Club. Playgrounds and of course the beach and river. Hawks Nest is a beautiful place we will be back.

Wow, this garden apartment is fabulous. Arrival was easy & straight forward. On entering, I was pleasantly surprised. The apartment is so spacious, bright & airy and the proportions are very generous. A rare find indeed. The kitchen is lovely with everything you could possibly need. The bedroom is roomy and the bed devine, so comfortable. The bathroom is large & bright with a spacious shower & a separate bath.. There is a well equipped gym and a lovely swimming pool, all on the same level as the apartment.. both well used by us.. We loved it so much that we will make a night stop, room only, on our return.
