Monthly Rentals in Alturas

I stayed in town for a work-related trip, and Juan and Kathy's place was perfect! My bag was lost at the Reno airport, and they were very communicative and responsive when I told them I wouldn't be checking in until later. The house was also spotless and stocked with any amenity you could ever need. They really are very thoughtful and do everything they can to make sure you have a pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again!

This place is like a little slice of heaven for someone who prefers the countryside. This area also has so much history that surrounds the ranch, it’s almost like you go back in time. The host is an amazing person to work with, he will bend over backwards to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The area overall is like a country get away, no traffic to hear, mountains on both sides, a small stream/river that runs through the property, comfortable furniture, all necessary amenities to make your stay enjoyable. If I could move to this area I would. This is the best area to get an Airbnb in if you’re in Alturas. If you don’t, you’re missing out.

Amazing host super helpful great communication. The house is spotless clean and has everything you can ask for. Will definitely book again in the near future. This place is a gem!

We were exhausted from driving all day and this place was a gem of a refuge. On their ranch with sweeping vistas, it was quiet and peaceful. The cement counters in the kitchen and bath were masterful and the backsplash on the kitchen was a work of art. Literally. Great use and reuse of materials throughout the space. The quality of the build and attention to detail are evident and carry through the entire space, including the decor. Kacy greeted us with a friendly smile and encouraged us to be at home there. I went out at night to check out the stars, which were amazing. Expansive. We left in the morning refreshed and thankful for our stay.
