Restful and within an hour and a half of beautiful Mt Shasta, one hour from McCloud river falls, one hour from Burney Falls, one hour 15 minutes from Lava Beds, on the way to Reno from Oregon, a great place to stay if your visiting family in the area, coming to a wedding, reunion, need a couples get-a-way or mini vacation, duck-geese-deer-antelope hunting, fishing and great stargazing area, just a fun stop on your travels through!

Neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow, nor hail shall keep visiters from the Ivy Post Office! It is located in Jess Valley, up the canyon from Likely, CA. The ranch is near Clear Lake and Mill Creek Falls on the north end of the valley. The Ivy Post Office served the sawmills of the valley from 1910-1922 until the road was built and mail could be delivered faster. Now it serves our ranch as cozy guest quarters. At 5000ft elevation the climate is quite more pleasant than surrounding areas!

We have horses, cows, chickens, and cow dogs. Stay in our remodeled bunkhouse, has room for 4. 1 queen bed, and a full size futon. Full kitchen, private bathroom, with outside bbq area.

The Five Seventy Studio is centrally-located in Cedarville. The original house was built in 1890. Ive been renovating for the last two years. The main house is still under construction. The studio has a stylish look incorporating some reclaimed lumber from 1890 as the floors, the window casing's are built out of a Black locus tree from the back yard, and the sink is concrete concept design. This studio is fun, modern with a reclaimed industrial look. Thanks for checking it out.

The Cressler House was beautiful, central, and a great value! We were just passing through and enjoyed our stay, especially the giant bathtub, piano in the living room, and comfortable bed. We enjoyed meeting other guests, but had plenty of privacy as well.

A smoke detector is mounted on a wooden post, showing a simple, white circular design. The detector's indicator lights and labels are clearly visible, providing safety assurance within the space.

Hays Room - Cressler House

Cressler House is a beautifully restored historic home with so much character and charm. I especially enjoyed the parlor - with its art, piano, and comfortable seating - a room from the days when people conversed with each other, no TVs in sight. My bedroom was spacious and thoughtfully appointed, blending historic elegance with modern comfort. The host, Anna, was warm and friendly in all of our interactions. Cedarville is a peaceful, relaxing place full of small-town charm. Highly recommend!

Stephan was always available to answer any question we had, the house was recently renovated and was very comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay again.

Bidwell Room - Cressler House

It is a nice vintage home. I loved my stay and my room, however the door didn’t shut completely due to the age of the building. It didn’t bother me, but I have some relatives that I know would prefer to know something like that in advance. It is a shared space with other guests, and there are many other rented rooms in the house. So, you may have several strangers staying in the same building and sharing the same kitchen, seating area and dining space.
