Tiny house vacation rentals in Yorkshire

We loved our stay in this cute barn. It is clean, cosy and very comfortable. The location is very private and surrounded by woodland. We enjoyed walks from the door around Ripponden as well as from Hebdon Bridge and the beautiful surrounding area. We met Jill briefly while she was out walking her dog and she checked that we were happy with everything. I would highly recommend it.

Su is a fantastic warm, friendly and very accommodating host. The cabin is beautiful and very well equipped. The location is perfect for exploring nearby villages and is quiet and cosy. We had a wonderful night here

This was an impulsive (and lucky) last minute break for us with our 2 young children and has been the best holiday we have had in a long time! There is plenty to do locally and not a long drive to the beach (we opted for Whitby). The kids play park in the forest is the best park we’ve visited and could easily have spent a whole day exploring. The surroundings were beautiful and the hosts were so welcoming. Breakfast was a lovely treat and the kids enjoyed feeding the sheep and spying on Cheddar (the cat!). The only downside is that lots of other people have clearly found out what a dream this place is, as we will have to wait a little while for a return trip due to it being booked up! An absolute bargain for a retreat away from city life and we were all wished we could have stayed for longer 🙂.

We had a lovely long weekend stay. Everything was as we expected and how it looked in the pictures. The views were amazing, so was the hot tub and the goat farm was a nice touch. Charlie was a fantastic host—friendly, responsive, and always quick to answer any questions we had. We’d definitely love to stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing countryside escape.

I had an absolutely blissful stay at Johns place. It was wonderful to be surrounded by so many lovely animals, and the views from inside the hut are incredible. A very special spot.

We had an amazing time in the Shepard's hut. The room was very well maintained and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed using the hammocks and making a fire in the evening and Dot was very communicative and made our stay very pleasurable.

A fabulous find. It was incredibly clean and had absolutely everything you could think off. Beautifully presented and super cute, but big enough not to feel tiny. The bedroom has space at the end of the bed so if you are over 6foot you still can fit in. Loved it so much going back in December to experience a cosy weekend.

This Shepherd’s Hut is gem on the Pennine Way. The hut is very sweet and cosy and perfect for a night or two. View from the window is over the sheep fields and we spend the evening sitting outside, watching swifts, swallow allows and house martins circling above us. The host could not have been more friendly and helpful and we felt at home straight from the start. We couldn’t recommend this place any more especially if you are hiking the Pennine Way and want somewhere special to stay.

A delightful cottage - simple and small, all the linens and furnishings are of a lovely, comfortable quality. Everything you need can be found there. Rachael sent very good instructions for the location of their lane. She also left brownies as a welcome treat which was much appreciated. Both Rachael and Gerry are friendly and informative about their beautiful region. We’d love to stay again.

From the moment we arrived we were blown away by this wonderful location. We were welcomed warmly by Sarah who showed us around and was on hand if we needed any help. The location is absolutely stunning, with everything you could need for a peaceful, romantic and private getaway. All of the little extras that were provided such as sweet treats and their own homemade coffee really added to the quality of the experience. Sitting in the hot tub surrounded by beautiful garden plants and flowers, as well all the birds, bees and butterflies really made this a wonderfully tranquil experience. The shepherds hut is beautifully decorated and we felt right at home from the outset. I wish I could give more than 5 stars. We will definitely be returning again to enjoy Lonton and all the wonderful surrounding areas!

A lovely little retreat in the quiet countryside. We saw all sorts of wildlife which we enjoyed watching. The cherry tub is really cosy and the bed is comfortable. Jordan was so friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home.

Louise was a wonderful host a lovely place to stay would be more than happy to return.

Had a fantastic trip to the peak district and made all the more sweet with the eyam hut! Hosts were incredibly friendly and gracious as well great at providing recommendations in the area. A great picnic basket was invited the room when we arrived, including some fantastic homemade jam 👌 bonfires in the evening and early morning really hit the spot! Couldn’t recommend more. Thanks again Rachel for a great birthday trip 🙏

We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it. Anybody from a town should visit a place like this once a year to understand how beautiful nature is. The place was absolutely gorgeous and beautifully maintained. I spent equal time looking at nature, and admiring the woodbuilt boathouse.

We had a lovely 4 night stay at William & Chris' place.The instructions to find the place were clear & easy to follow & William came by once we'd settled in to say hi & gave some good advice about local walks & things to do in poor weather.The accommodation is beautifully situated, clean & plenty of amenities.The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of equipment & cooking utensils.There was a set of towels each & a washing machine to use if needed.There weren't any toiletries but we'd brought our own anyway.Very friendly chickens that appeared out of no where as soon as you opened the door!The only main issue we had was with the heat-due to the position of the large windows it trapped all the heat inside & we couldn't open the doors to let any air through due to the chickens & flies coming in,so it was a bit uncomfortable.There is a long narrow road & track up to the house, the last bit of which had quite a few large pot holes so care's needed when driving. Thank you for a fab break!

Stunning cabin on a working farm with fab view and walking.

Just back from 2 nights stay in one of these gorgeous shepherds hut, they really do have everything you need! Very clean and kept really warm even though the temperate outside dropped at night we didn’t feel it in the hut ! My daughter and I slept so well, comfiest bed we’ve slept in while away too! Loved laying in bed looking out over the fields , watching the cows and having a lovely visit from some chickens !!! Emma our host was very helpful and sent us lots of info on not only the hut but places we could eat etc ! Would 100% return here! We fell in love with this little bit of the country side ❤️ my daughter can’t wait to return

I honestly do not know where to start with this review. we stayed in owl on Jay's property. exactly as described and can not fault any inch of the place. Jay was welcoming and messaged before hand to ask when we would be arriving so he could meet us and explain some bits ,the directions are clear and easy to follow if you follow from Jay's instructions. there was some biscuits, sweets and some milk in the fridge when we got there which was very welcome as we'd not been to the supermarket yet for our provisions. we had a bbq and lit the fire outside. bought some logs from Jay for £10 and was very responsive in getting back to us regarding collecting the pack. the area where you are is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and scenic. we as a couple are already looking at when we can book to come again. thankyou again for the most relaxing and enjoyable stay.

We loved every minute of our stay in the Shepherds Hut. Very private with beautiful views, with the Highland Coos, Swiss Valais Sheep + Goats just a couple of fences away. Facilities are more than adequate, everything you need is just a couple of feet away. Log Burner + Hot Tub were both amazing and relaxing. Cat + Andy as hosts are perfect. Couldn't ask for anything more. So friendly + responsive via text or phone, and attended to our every need. An absolute must stay for anyone needing a quiet getaway, and especially for Highland Coo lovers. 5 star *****

This was a truly magical place to stay. Writing this review, I wish I was back there right now. It is in such a beautiful location that is hard to fully appreciate until you get there. Richard was a very friendly and approachable host; I feel no requests would have been too much trouble for him. It really is the perfect place to switch off, do some hiking (or look at the views) in the most amazing countryside and relax in comfort when you're all done (the bed was so comfy). I can't remember staying anywhere better and I cannot wait to return.
