Everything was perfect and luxurious. We just didn't quite understand how the light in the bedroom works until the end. But that was more due to different systems in Norway and Germany.

The house was nice , warm and cozy. Feel like home. The location was great. Just 3 mins to supermarket and 3 mins to Sweden. The view was breathtaking. Amazing

There were four of us in the apartment and we felt very comfortable. Ilkka welcomed us personally. The house is located close to the road and is easily accessible by car even in winter. The sauna is great, the beds comfortable and the sofa new. Spices and coffee were provided. Ilkka organized cross-country skis and snowshoes for us at a good price and marked a trail for us that started behind the house. We also saw the Northern Lights twice. Everything was super straightforward. Thank you very much.

Great stay at Henri's with family and our 4 children. We were very well received. The house was very clean, comfortable with lots of amenities and in a good location. We had a fun time at Pello's place in Henri. We strongly recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful week at Esa's house. If you are looking for a beautiful place and peace for relaxation, this is the right place for you!

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

We had a very nice time at this place! Wonderfully quiet location in beautiful surroundings, ideal to switch off and relax. For activities you often have to drive a while, but you are in the middle of nature and can just go outside at night and see the Northern Lights (if any are to be seen) - that was a very great experience! The sauna was also very pleasant (the hot tub was unfortunately frozen and out of order at the time). There is everything you need in the house and it is very cozy there. We were there with our two-year-old son, and he also felt very comfortable and had - like us - a lot of fun in the snow!

Amazing experience. The location is great for seeing auroras (we saw them!) and only half an hour from Rovaniemi. The lake is very beautiful. The cottage is very well equipped and cozy. The only issue we had was the door locks which are not intuitive. The host's communication was very good. I highly recommend this accommodation!

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Mist! The house was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was perfect, surrounded by nature but still close enough to local attractions. The hosts were friendly and made sure we felt at home. Good value in the apartment. Very peaceful apartment and easy to get to. We got really good and comprehensive instructions before the stay. A big plus for Friday sauna shift! Easy to get to by car, there were parking spaces.

We had a lovely holiday in Sanna’s beautiful home. It was perfect for the whole family - even better than we had expected from the photos. The location was fantastic - only a few minutes drive to the town but so peaceful and right across the road from the lake. We enjoyed so many walks on the lake, ice fishing with the equipment Sanna provided, the hot tub and sauna and the youngest member of the family expended lots of energy on the bouncy castle in the basement. Sanna was so helpful with recommendations in advance. It has been a wonderful family holiday, aided by good weather, bright blue skies and great sights of the northern lights. This was a super place to stay with my 3 kids (11/9/13). The place was super clean and relaxing. Satu was always available for questions and really responsive. The view is amazing and we saw the northern lights when we went for a walk on the (very quiet) road. Would defiantly return!

The cabin was great and Saara was very accommodating and responsive. The location was beautiful, and we were able to see the northern lights while standing on the frozen lake! The sauna was warm and cozy, and Rovaniemi was a short drive away. Thank you for hosting us, Saara!

I highly recommend it, it's a perfect holiday destination, without any disturbance, quiet and beautiful. There is a small river behind the house, although it was still frozen when I came, but I can definitely imagine that it will present a beautiful picture in summer.

The cabin exactly matched the description. Messaging with Jari went quickly and effortlessly. The lot was wonderfully preheated and she would have brought more trees to us if needed. The cottage was clean and we found everything we needed.

Our family really enjoyed the stay in the house. It looked and felt much bigger than on the photos. Very spacious and light. Our kids enjoyed playing the garden at the back of the house, which felt very private and quiet, and in the winter full of snow. House has everything one needs for a stay, enough plates, cutlery, cooking equipment in the kitchen; enough bedding and towels. It felt warm and quiet. We were very thankful that there was some food in the fridge from the host, like butter, milk and yogurt for the kids. It is two storey house: kids bedrooms are upstairs, master bedroom next to the living room. Very approachable and friendly host, who also offered to come to grit the driveway as the road was slippery due to the high temperatures and melting snow. Highly recommend this house!

The cottage matched the description and was in a quiet location. It was easy to find and the cottage road was in good condition. The beach at a suitable point in the Simojoki river, when the flow was calm. After swimming, it was nice to go to the sauna's gentle steam 🙂
