A brand new wooden holiday house isituated in small village 60km from Rovaniemi and 40km from the Swedish border. There is a big lake close to the cottage, pineforest and cross country skiing & hiking possibilities. The house is well equipped and modern. This is a good holiday house for families with children. There are two bedrooms, a balcony for sleeping, living room with one bed, sofas, dining table and kitchen, bathroom and sauna. You will see reindeer sometimes close to the house.

I love my chalet, because the place is so beautiful and calm. Chalet have now new fireplace and new bathroom/sauna. Nature is all a around you. You can relax in chalet by hiking or in finish sauna or just spend time with your friends. Chalet is located about 70 km from Rovaniemi, near beautiful lake Vietonen. Chalet is is very good place travel for 4 persons family, couples and alone. The chalet is located at the top of a hill, there you can see far to lake.

My stay at this Airbnb was nothing short of incredible! Outdoor activities were endless, from drilling the lake for ice fishing to exhilarating Nordic skiing. Amazing Stay in Finnish Lapland The Airbnb is in a wonderfully remote location, perfect for a private and peaceful experience. Activities like snowmobiling with Pekka (the host) and a husky tour with David (Matara Creek Oy) were unforgettable and felt intimate, far from crowded tourist spots. We were also lucky enough to see the northern lights. Since the area is so remote, all you need to do is cross the road, and you’re surrounded by darkness: perfect for aurora viewing. There’s even a bird tower nearby that offers an excellent spot to watch the lights. Truly unforgettable! The house is spacious, very clean, and well-equipped with thoughtful extras like spices, towels, and even cold-weather gear. Pekka and Satu were fantastic hosts—respectful of our privacy but happy to help when needed. Don’t miss the sauna or the campfire experience after a snowmobile tour! Highly recommended for anyone wanting an authentic Lapland getaway.

Very nice place. We were only there for one day, but still a nice experience.

We had a very nice time at this place! Wonderfully quiet location in beautiful surroundings, ideal to switch off and relax. For activities you often have to drive a while, but you are in the middle of nature and can just go outside at night and see the Northern Lights (if any are to be seen) - that was a very great experience! The sauna was also very pleasant (the hot tub was unfortunately frozen and out of order at the time). There is everything you need in the house and it is very cozy there. We were there with our two-year-old son, and he also felt very comfortable and had - like us - a lot of fun in the snow!

Heli’s place was more beautiful than the photos. Very private and peaceful even with neighbors in the area. House had all the amenities and more, we really enjoyed our three day stay!
