Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Wirksworth

A lovely apartment right in the centre of Castleton, close to pubs and right next to a great coffee shop. We loved the decor of the apartment and it was very restful and cool, in the current hot weather. There is not outside space, so you have to find a local pub garden to sit in at the end of the day, for a sundowner!

This was an absolutely gorgeous place to stay, very clean. Felt very homely and nice to relax. Fab little outside area to relax in. Lovely comfortable beds, nice little touches left by Nick, we really appreciated the bread and condiments. Nick was very helpful and we would love to stay again if the chance ever arises. Thank you!

this is our second year staying in Michael's apartment, it was just as good as it was the first year. On check in day we had a problem that the building lifts weren't working, I asked Michael about this problem to which he immediately contacted the building maintenance and they had it fixed the very next day, Michael is an extremely friendly and helpful host and I can highly recommend to anyone wishing to stay in his apartment. 10/10 we'll be back again next year!

1 Dalebrook View is a thoughtfully furnished and very spacious apartment which immediately feels like home. Very comfortable beds and well designed living spaces with everything you could want for an enjoyable stay. Kate could not be more helpful and gives clear details and instructions for everything you need during your stay. Good dog walks can be taken from the front door and there is a small enclosed green area 2 minutes walk away called The Grove next to the Fish and Chip shop. It is an ideal place to briefly take a dog to at the beginning and each end of the day. We visited The Moon Inn in Stoney Middleton and nearby Calver Arms plus local cafes. All offering good food and drink options, although we found the Eyam cafés to be very expensive, busy, slow on service or closed. Our booking for three nights from Sunday meant we missed out on a few things not being open including the local Toll Bar fish and chips open Wednesday to Saturday. We will just have to return another time!

We were visiting Buxton for 2 shows at the Opera House & the apartment is perfectly placed for this, being just a few minutes walk away, also the Pavilion Gardens and loads of places to eat & drink. Apartment is beautifully furnished and very well-equipped with pretty, sunny little cottage-style garden to front. The main bedroom is lovely, really comfortable bed. Our friend stayed in the basement bedroom and did comment that it was cold BUT he was very warm and comfortable once in bed. Wish we had stayed longer, if only to take advantage of the huge selection of dvds and books 😊. Thankyou, Heather, Kim and Lorna for a really great (too short) stay.

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our stay at Marylise’s place. The home was spotless, exactly as described, and located in a wonderfully peaceful and private area—while still being easily accessible to the city. Marylise was incredibly accommodating, kindly allowing us a late check-out due to remote work commitments, which we really appreciated. This was genuinely one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed at, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommended!

Our stay was great. The hot tub was lovely and the garden was beautiful. Penny also very kindly made us a cake which was delicious. Penny lives at the other side of the house and was there if we needed anything (even sun tan lotion). We booked this place for a chilled hen do and it was perfect. Would stay again. I booked this stay for my mum and partner who were over the moon with their time spent here. They came back and told me they thought it was such a beautiful accommodation, with stunning surroundings. Perfect for find a little respite, peace and quiet. They were delighted with how much was provided at the accommodation, Sarah had thought of everything. We had a slight issue with the bathroom prior to check-in but Khateeb responded excellently resolving the issue with pace and transparency. Great location, lovely flat

Quite area. Right near supermarket and Costa. Beautiful walk around the local lake. Not far from peak District, within a 40 min drive. Nottingham half hour drive. Plenty of local pubs and fish and chips shop. Beautiful flat. Clean and tidy. Added bonus, washing machine. So took everything home clean. Lovely little garden with hanging space for washing. Plenty of cups plates etc. Just brilliant.

We were really delighted by how spacious, and comfortable the apartment was. Max is a wonderful thoughtful host! There was a bottle of wine, and a pint of milk in the fridge for us when we arrived. This is a spectacular accommodation in an utterly beautiful setting. I recommend Max’s place. You will not be disappointed!
