We loved our peaceful stay at Kari’s Airbnb. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the raptors, soaking in the hot tub, and making snores over the fire pit. Can’t wait to come back!

Great place for a quiet retreat with the whole family

Serene, scenic, and so comfortable! We loved our stay at Trout Creek Cabin, and hope to stay again sometime. On this trip, we managed to dodge some rain for a bike trip in Lanesboro one day, and a hike up to the lookout another day. Otherwise, we indulged in the view, took naps, read books, played games, had long meaningful chats, and realized in the hot tub. We couldn't dictate the weather, but we could not have asked for a better stay. Thank you!

Our stay was peaceful and beautiful. We had a wonderful time. Super cute cabin. Beautiful view. We went on an adventure every day from hiking to searching for Wisconsin cheese. Loved the Airbnb. We will be back.

Very peaceful and beautiful property. The walking path with its unique figurines made exploring the area feel a bit more special. The cabin was clean and comfortable. We saw lots of birds and butterflies, and the creek was really scenic. Would love to come back.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb. The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The check-in process was smooth, and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout my stay. The location was perfect—close to local attractions, restaurants, and public transport, but still quiet enough to relax and unwind. The bed was comfortable, and I appreciated the little touches like fresh towels, toiletries, and coffee/tea supplies. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. I’d happily return!

Excellent cozy cabin in the woods! Very private setting feels like your a part of nature, lots of birds and deer around the cabin. Very nice touches around the cabin - high quality beds, sheets, linens, and even blankets. Comfortable couches and chairs inside and outside. Highly recommend!!

Looking for a relaxing weekend with the family with a ton of potential for memories that last a lifetime? Look no further than this hidden gem in De Soto. I've frequently traveled south craving "southern hospitality", little did I know, just a couple hours north had "Midwestern hospitality"! Justin was very responsive initially when asking about his property, very knowledgeable about surrounding activities as well as great watering holes if you catch my drift. The cabin is decorated perfectly and it immediately makes you take a deep breath and smile knowing that you are home. There is plenty of room for you and your family to stretch out, play games, go fishing off of your own private dock, walk to the Rivers Edge and grab a bite to eat (less than a 5 minute walk), etc. If you've got a boat, bring it!! Don't miss out on the local wineries at your stay either! rate 10/5! Can't wait to return!

Lovely secluded area for a weekend getaway. Wood stove was great during the cold rainey days. Lovely area for my dog to run around freely. Beautiful flowing creek. High possibility of returning in the fall.

We absolutely loved This place. The Cabin was perfectly rustic while well appointed with everything we needed. The surroundings are beautiful wooded ridges and hilly farm fields. My daughter loved the small pond to practice her paddling with me. My wife loved the loft bedroom that allowed her to escape my snoring. And we all loved the ever present birds, (Eagles, hummingbirds, orioles and goldfinches to name a few standouts) We will be sfaying here for sure when we visit our family in the area again. It was PERFECT!

We needed to move vacation houses due to some crazy weather and flooding in the general area. Barrett's place was exactly what we needed. It had plenty of space to walk the dog near the river, the beds were super comfy, the internet was great, and the host was super responsive to my questions!

Great little place on a hill overlooking the Mississippi River! We chose it because it was closer to the wedding venue than staying in Winona; but very close to town and easy to pick things up or go eat, etc… We usually we stay in Winona but this suited our needs perfectly for this particular trip.

We really enjoyed our stay! Very clean and relaxing and it was exactly as the listing described. Denel was very accommodating and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lake house getaway!

Absolutely fabulous Airbnb! We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything is gorgeous, beds are super comfy, whole property is stunning and peaceful. Kitchen is well stocked with tools/plates/pans/etc. We really enjoyed having a campfire while our kids played on the beach and went around the pond in some inflatable rafts we brought with us. The game room was also a big hit especially when it rained a bit during our stay! We would definitely return again and recommend this great place!

My sons and I stayed at Martha’s Place for the first time this year for our annual trout fishing trip to the Elba area. This place had everything we needed for our stay. Especially nice to have three bedrooms and nice big comfortable beds. The kitchen appliances are state of the art. The fishing was exceptional this year in numbers and size. We would love to stay at Martha’s Place again next year.
