“This is a perfect place to stay if you want to be in the heart of Glastonbury as it's literally a two minute walk to the high street. Geri is a welcoming and friendly host with a super friendly dog too! The room is as advertised and you have your own tea / coffee making facilities as well as a small fridge. All in all a lovely place to stay!”

“This is a beautiful peaceful little haven with a stream running through the outside seated area. . It offers a perfect healing retreat with total privacy yet is so close to all the attractions. The hosts are outstanding and I felt they genuinely cared about me as a guest. They provide a super comfortable bed, lovely continental breakfast and sky tv. They are a genuinely warm and kind couple and I felt very welcome, I slept peacefully and this property was also sparkling clean and cosy too. I didn’t want to leave and I highly recommend it to anyone.”
The Coachman's Flat is part of a third wing of West House, where we believe the servants quarters were. The room is a bright airy private room with windows both sides giving plenty of light. The house is on the edge of the village of Chilton Polden with beautiful views of the Mendips and the Levels and numerous interesting places to visit within easy reach. There is a further Air BnB room opposite this flat called The Footman's Flat and a tenanted flat beneath, all within this third wing.
“This a great spot for a bit of peace and quiet, and from which to explore the area. Marg is so lovely and helpful and the little on site cafe is fantastic for brekkie or lunch. We even had a lamb to chat to on New Year’s Day. Gorgeous.”
