Beautifully decorated and well-appointed studio in a lovely neighbourhood in Santa Monica. It’s a little haven - very peaceful after a day’s travelling. The studio is squeaky clean & extremely well-equipped - Darlene has thought of everything - top-notch vegan-friendly toiletries too. The bed is super-comfy with quality bedding. The kitchen is very well-stocked. I only wished we could have stayed longer than two nights. The outside area is delightful and very private. However the outstanding feature of this Air BnB is Darlene herself. What a fantastic warm welcome - it makes such a difference! Freshly baked chocolate chip banana bread and British PG Tips!! Very thoughtful and made us feel right at home. A fantastic host!! The beach and Main Street are a mile away - everything in description is accurate - and there are some lovely cafes and shops within a 10-minute walk. Thyme cafe was perfect for breakfast!! It was really easy to get to the accommodation and it’s located in a really peaceful & convenient spot. What stood out was that Karim is an extremely stellar host. He really went above and beyond to make sure we had a good stay. Thank you so much Karim! BTW, we struggled a bit opening backyard door so we experimented and the trick is to lift the door a little and jiggle!

Martha was an excellent host, gave us some great brunch recommendations and allowed us a late check out. Her place was good, the bed was very very comfortable and we appreciated the separate living space!

This feels crazy to write, but I’m *actually* going to miss Scott as much as the apartment. We stayed for a week with our 18-month old daughter, and from the moment we arrived, we felt like we were home. The apartment is beautiful, with stunning wood floors and perfectly restored original details (the hardware on the doors and closets, original crystal doorknobs), accented by gorgeous art — some of which has been in Scott’s family since childhood. The bedrooms were incredibly comfortable (we especially appreciated the blackout curtains), and everything was neat, clean, and thoughtfully curated. Scott and Randi are warm, friendly, generous people — and we will truly cannot wait to book our next trip at their exquisite home. This is, absolutely, the best airb&b I’ve ever experienced. THANK YOU for eveything!

Charles place was great! It felt comfortable right away and I loved the bed have never slept so well before! Charles was kind and was willing to help us when I had to keep luggage at his place longer than expected. Place was comfy and homie which I love, and the view from window is wonderful! Overall great stay and would recommend!

We had such a wonderful stay at Diana & Romy’s place on Saint Susan Place in LA! From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly warm and kind. Diana went above and beyond by offering us a ride to an early morning appointment, something we truly appreciated. Both she and Romy were gracious hosts, always ready with thoughtful recommendations for places to visit around the city, which made our trip even more memorable. Their hospitality made us feel right at home, and we’re so grateful for their generosity and care. Highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a welcoming and comfortable experience in LA!

Nancy was a perfect host and her place is fantastic. It’s exactly as described in a great location in Santa Monica. I couldn’t have been happier and I’ll definitely recommend her place to family and friends who are staying in the area!

Everything was perfect. I was especially impressed with the view, the comfort, and the privacy. Being able to have my coffee in peace, or even to unwind in front on the tv, after a day of activities, meant the world to me. I would definitely come back just to enjoy that beautiful, quiet space. Worth every penny.❤️

Amazing Place. Would Stay Again

Very nice and responsive host who took the time to walk us through the apartment. Anands place is delightful with all the amenities you could need. Also the location is very central.

Absolutely loved our stay at Lucretia Ave! The space was cozy, cute, and perfectly tucked away in Echo Park—super easy to get to from Burbank airport, which made our arrival a breeze. The location is *chef’s kiss*—walking distance to great coffee and quick breakfast spots, and the street parking was a total dream (rare for LA!). The home itself is super quiet and peaceful, which I really appreciated. I’m usually pretty quiet myself, but I did have a tiny moment of self-consciousness wondering if I was being too loud—just goes to show how serene the space is! That said, everything felt just right and I’d 100% stay here again. Such a sweet spot. Can’t wait to come back! 💛

Diana’s stay was just as pictured and in such proximity to this neighborhood’s LA spots. It is nestled in the hills so it has a great view both day and night with a private patio area that is a bonus as well. There are those stairs — LOL. It’s subjective. For me it worked out okay, and Diana even offered help with my luggage if needed! You will hear the family upstairs some (mostly in the day), but that’s to be expected with a lower unit. All in all, a good stay for whenever life takes me to this part of LA again. :)

There are 2 flavors of Airbnb: the 5-star hotel vs OG "stay in the host's living room" vibe. This one is the latter, full of character and quirk. I had magical moments off the beaten trail: 1. outdoor showering with a lovely breeze and unobstructed view of the valley. 2. hilltop canopy bed. majestic 270 degree views of the surrounding hills and canyons. 3. randomly seeing the fattest cute little pig ever, just sauntering down the road. However, this place might NOT be the best for someone who wants the 5-star ecolodge. If you cannot stand a spider in the corner of your (clean and well stocked) outhouse, then choose a different airbnb. If you do not like dogs with big personality who will come assertively say hi, then choose a different airbnb. As long as you get all the wifi passwords for various routers, you will be fine to connect. I had productive times myself and nailed some important work calls! "When the critics disagree, the artist is in accord with herself."

Great location. Really close to the Santa Monica Pier. Walkable neighborhood. The bathroom was more like a spa, can definitely spoil yourself. Deb was responsive and proactive with suggestions, even though she was out of town. Checked in on me, just because. The only regret I have is I didn't get to meet her doggo.

I loved staying here! Beautiful location and surroundings. I rented a car and was able to navigate up to the apartment easily. So much to do in the area and it was a great home base for me. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was perfect for my needs. And I loved watching the horses from my balcony!

The place was exactly as advertised. Perfect size for me and my daughter. Fanny was extremely communicative. She was also very flexible and allowed me to check in when we arrived a few minutes later. I would definitely stay there again.

This place has truly enchane my partner and I’s anniversary. She has truly enjoyed cooking our food with their amenities during our stay. The showers felt refreshing during this hot summer, and the bed kept up cozied and comfortable during our nights. We are definitely in the talks of coming back! Thank you Myrna and Bruce!

Khaleel's place was the perfect location for my stay in Culver City. So close to Tanner's Coffee and Pho Sho in a quiet, walkable neighborhood, with easy access to locations farther away. I had no need of a car. Unit A is very private and peaceful, and the patio is an added treat with flowers everywhere. My new go-to spot for visits to Culver City. Thanks, Khaleel.

Leeah and Mic's place is very warm and friendly, and has lots of personality and charm. Some AirBnBs are pretty sterile, but they had snacks, drinks, interesting books and games, and all the furniture and fittings were high quality. Mic met us as we arrived and showed us around, he's very friendly. They have a large, detailed book they put together listing places to eat and things to do, and we definitely took advantage of that. They pinged us with check-in and check-out information right when we needed it. I only wish I had stayed long enough to finish the giant Taschen book on Los Angeles; I'll have to return to their place sometime!

This was a great stay in an incredible area of Venice! So close to the beach, shopping, coffee shops. The place was very clean, safe and quiet. The bed was super comfy. Parking was easy on the street. Highly recommend!
