Before we had checked out, we had reserved for next year. A superb property, in a beautiful, quiet location, but is just 10 minutes walk away from bars and restaurants. 1 minute walk from a beach, next door to an historic ancient church and absolutely idyllic. Highly recommended.

Quiet country cottage.

JoannaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Wonderful cottage in a peaceful location. Great base for exploring Devon with the kids. Very dog friendly too and the fenced off woods were a fantastic bonus. Cottage was a typical farm cottage (which is what we like) and was very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The kids loved watching the horses each day. Thank you Johanne for a lovely stay

Creek's View - near Salcombe

JudithRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A delightful secluded residence facing out over farmland. Although there is a farm and there are homes in converted farm buildings close by, you would hardly know they were there; the property has a separate entrance to the main farm that it shares with one other dwelling, which again you would hardly know was there. The property is as described and well equipped. Although the garden is very small, this is not really a problem with so much open countryside on the doorstep. Rich George was very helpful, responding quickly to our queries before arrival and welcoming us warmly with helpful advice when we got there but otherwise leaving us to enjoy our holiday. The climbing roses surrounding the decked area were divine. We can recommend North Sands beach as a paradise for dogs if they like the water; our visit was in early June and, on all but one occasion, we managed to park in one of the four road side parking spaces at the top of the beach (free for 2 hours) rather than pay to use

Headland Hideaway Shepherd's Hut in Lyme Regis

JennaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
Mike's place was an absolute dream for our pre-baby, relaxing getaway with our Whippet! It completely exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, right on the SW coast path yet feeling wonderfully secluded, while still being just a quick 5-minute drive to Lyme Regis. Although the listing mentioned the garden wasn't fully secure, we found it to be very secure for our Whippet which was an added bonus. There are also several gates to pass through on the way from the parking area, adding to the security. Our dog lovedddd running about with a frisbee and then sunbathing ha! We honestly loved the property so much (especially the pool!) that we barely left, only venturing out for morning coffee and breakfast. Mike's recommendations were spot on – Poco Pizza was fantastic for takeaway, and communication was excellent throughout. We'll be hard-pressed to find another Airbnb that compares and look forward to coming back with our baby. Thank you!

Westcountry house, hot tub, & outdoor heated pool

ZaraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We spent the half term break at Little Burston with our two young children, we had a wonderful time. The accommodation was everything we hoped from the previous brilliant reviews and more. A clean, bright and large space. Well equipped with everything you could want (games, DVD’s, kitchen utensils). A tranquil and peaceful setting not far away from Dulverton and within striking distance of lots of activities. The hot tub kept the adults happy and the kids loved the garden, trampoline and games of football. Carol was a great host, instructions left at the property were clear and easy. Walking recommendations all great. Goats and chickens out of the kitchen window was a highlight for the kids. Up there with the best Airbnb’s we’ve been to in the UK. We would not hesitate to return, if visiting North Devon again and couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

Toby's Place, Honicombe

CarolineRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Toby’s place is a lovely holiday lodge on the Honicombe holiday park. It’s in pristine condition and the hosts, Kevin and Tina, were lovely going above and beyond to make it a great stay. It’s well located for exploring Dartmoor and Cornish coast. Our favourite beach was Tregantle and we also enjoyed the Merrivale stones. Honicombe park is great for kids with use of an indoor and outdoor pool that come free with the cottage, a pub offering good value meals and loads of play areas.

Country House & Own 34ft Private Heated Pool

ChloéRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My friends and I stayed at Louise’s place for a long weekend, and it was a wonderful time. The house fit 11 adults no problem. Lovely and quiet, the pool was so much fun, and we made good use of the fire pit to have s’mores. Harry gave us a tour of the dairy farm & beehives, & let us see the calves which was lovely. Louise was a fab host, very good communicator and always at hand if needed. Great stay overall!

The Coach House at High Park, Indoor Pool

ChristopherRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We loved staying at the Coach house it was just as in the pictures, and clean/comfortable with many mod cons. The Cream tea provided was delicious and the milk from the Milkiosk was fun/special. Our spaniel loved the field to run round in, although he was a bit naughty on occasion straying with the excitement. The pool is heaven, especialy as it is timetabled per unit meaning we had it all to ourselves for our turns (what a great idea). Just a great location with some lovely beaches and walks along the coastline. We loved it so much we have already booked again for next year.

Coombe Farm Goodleigh-The Stables

RebeccaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We loved our trip to Goodleigh. The farm was beautiful, the stables were beautiful - the hot tub was a real treat. The kids loved the rope swing and we played many of the games. The place was just beautiful, the decor, location and comfy beds were perfect for our week away. We visited some lovely beaches (30 min drive tops), Combe Martin and Lynton/ Lynmouth were favourites of ours. We visited a recommended pub - The Black Venus Inn was amazing, food was great. A perfect week and would 100% recommend.

You cannot find a more beautiful and peaceful location for a few days rest within nature. Their homestead is so quiet apart from bird song. The cottage is very calm and comfortable with a beautiful log fire in the cooler evenings. The private garden and terrace you have has wonderful views and is ideal for eating alfresco plus a very roomy private car park. Bed is super comfortable with lovely high quality linen. I would not hesitate to stay again and the cheeky gorgeous Truffle Cockerpoo owners dog is very friendly and welcoming.

A secluded annex set in peaceful Devon location.

SinaRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We've thorougly enjoyed our stay! Hilary ans Graham are the perfect hosts and know how to make their guests feel Welcome and at home. The flat was spacious and clean, the kitchen exceptionally well equipped (we've stayed at a lot of Airbnbs during the past couple of years and the kitchen at Hilary's really stood out, which made cooking for our family of four easy and fun!). Cereals, fruit, bread, milk,..were there on our arrival and were very much appreciated. The girls loved the little garden and playing outside. Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, Hilary took the girls to the stables to visit the horse- they were absolutely delighted!! Hilary and Graham are very friendly and sociable without being intrusive. We'd love to stay at their place again!

***** The Old Chapel - Rural with private Hot Tub

SuzanneRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I wish I could explain what an incredible stay myself and my boyfriend had. It was his birthday and thank god we went here for it. He made it so special and also left some yummy scones and milk for us when we got there :). It was the most beautiful area and home - and the hot tub was amazing! We had an issue with it unfortunately (as all things electric do) and he fixed it immediately. Such a kind and friendly host and a really great guy. We were in the perfect location - about 19 minute drive into Tavistock with loads to do. Absolutely recommend this stay (and definitely go to Lydford Gorge!) - can’t wait to visit again! - Incredible attention to detail (so clean) - Beautiful interior and exterior, everything was so well done - Excellent communication - Best location for privacy and peacefulness - Really attentive host Thank you so much Steve, yourself and your AirBnB were incredible. Recommending to everyone I know!!!
