Monthly Rentals in Wakonda Beach

This was a wonderful stay after a long day of driving on the coast. Mary was kind and informative, answering all my questions over the phone while giving my partner and I space and privacy to decompress in the unit. There were plenty of kitchen appliances, I could have stayed there a week and made my own food every day. The s’mores kit was a very sweet, welcoming touch.

Had an amazing stay at Driftwood Joy. Stunning location, cozy, and so much fun. located direclty on the berach and minutes from the community of Yahats with great food and many intersting places to explore in nearby Waldport and Newport. The host was very attentive and easu tp cp,,imocate wotj/ We would definitely visity agin.

We enjoyed our time there. A 5 year anniversary turned into a proposal and engagement. Can’t wait to visit again.

Picture of the living room does not represent this property very well. Besides the 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, there were 2 living rooms, one downstairs and one upstairs with a more spectacular full ocean view. Open kitchen, dining room, living room downstairs was wonderful for the cook to enjoy the family who were all around. Only two setbacks: Microfiber sheets—miserable to sleep in and non-stick pots and pans in the kitchen. I thought everyone had heard that non-stick pots and pans are very dangerous for your health possibly causing cancer (plastic coating), and doctors recommended throwing them out years ago. Sadly, this kitchen was stocked 99% with those making it very difficult for me to cook. My daughter reserved the property across the street which was stocked with mostly stainless steel pots and pans so I borrowed those. This home had 2 large glass baking dishes and one smaller one, and one large cast-iron skillet—all much appreciated. Spacious, light, and airy!
