House vacation rentals in Verona

Stayed here for a sisters weekend- and it was great for 6 sisters between the ages of 60-75. Two bedrooms on main floor and 2 downstairs worked great for us. Things were a little dated- but hey- so are we. We had a couple of issues that needed attn and James was most attentive and took care of them immediately. I would recommend. Great value for 6 women with varying needs! Especially loved the hot tub in the natural surroundings!!!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was stocked with everything we needed. The kids had so much fun with all the toys and games and us adults loved the deck and firepit. It was the perfect place for our family. We saw a bunch of wild turkeys, a few deer and lots of other wild life. Everything was clean, the beds were comfortable and the thoughtful extras were much appreciated. Brittany and Tim were great hosts!

Our family—including me, my wife, our daughter, and our puppy—had a wonderful time. Ginger was very kind and provided detailed information, including how to use the amenities like the swimming pools. The property was clean, cozy, and conveniently located near downtown, where we had a great time exploring. We’d definitely recommend this place to any family and would love to return on our next trip to Galena.

Brian and Jonny were very responsive and communicative from beginning to end. It was a last minute trip and we were lucky to find a pet friendly place during the start of the summer season. The house was clean, cozy and close to walking trails. Although we did not take advantage of the outdoor grill or hot tub (they have a wood burning fireplace for the winter), we enjoyed the screened in porch and open concept layout of the house, as pictured in the profile. The house is situated between two other houses blocked somewhat by the trees. I would describe as semi-private where we could see their back patio/hot tub/fire pit and vice versa. But whatever your personal comfort level, you can’t beat the proximity to trails, Owners Club, and easy access to Hwy 20 to Galena! We enjoyed our stay and exploring!

We had such a great time! We took the whole family (10 people) and there was plenty of room. The basement was great for keeping the kids entertained. They were wore out from playing video games, air hockey, basketball, and hot rubbing. The area has beautiful views, and feels very private even though there are houses close buy - which we prefer just in case we would need help. We all wished we could have stayed longer! We highly recommend and will definitely be back!

We had a great stay at the cabin for my brother’s bachelor party weekend. We played 2 golf courses, ate at one of the resort restaurants, and went downtown for dinner one night. It’s a 2 minute drive to the courses and 10 minutes to downtown. Great location that sat on one of the par 4s.

We had a wonderful stay! Doreen was always in communication making sure we had everything we needed. Our family of 5 was looking to getaway for a few days and this was a great place for it! The home was clean and cozy with lots of thoughtful touches throughout to make us feel welcome. We got to enjoy the amenities at the club house, and were just close enough to town to enjoy the restaurants and shops. My kids want to come back already!

This is one of the most aesthetically gorgeous, peaceful and unique Airbnb experiences I've enjoyed. What an absolutely lovely sanctuary of light, simplicity, and calm refuge just 30 minutes drive through rolling farmland, woods and wetlands from downtown Madison and the UW campus. The indoor fireplace and hot tub are such fabulous highlights! I loved every aspect of the orchard house including Josh's proactive tips and quick responses to a couple of minor questions I had. This was a really lovely place to spend a long weekend. I will be back and have already told all my friends about it. Bravo!

Couldn't have asked for more. Fantastic property and a responsive, friendly host. He even reached out to offer early check-in. We'll be back! From the wife: One of the best stays we’ve had! The host was super responsive—when our kids lost a ball, Kevin showed up with 2 new ones AND chalk. The cabin was spotless, with cozy couches, blackout curtains, comfy beds, & blankets everywhere. We loved the smart fridge for music, strong Wi-Fi, & the heated toilet seat (game changer!). Shower had great pressure, towels were plush & smelled amazing & the AC kept us cool. Porch felt like a villa in Costa Rica, especially in the rain. Early check-in, a generous welcome gift & even dog bags for our pups. Massage chair, grill, and space to spread out—we will DEFINITELY be back again, next time without our crazy children!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay at Diane's place. She has clearly put a lot of thought and effort into creating a terrific guest experience. The house was very nicely laid out, with a well-equipped kitchen, ample seating, plenty of linens, and comfortable beds. It was also very private, located at the end of a cul de sac. We very much enjoyed the views of the lake, to include from the deck and outdoor seating. Very convenient to Verona (and Epic), with good restaurants and other services located within a short drive. Very much recommended!

For me this place has been great. The host went above and beyond. While it isn’t surrounded by activities, everything is within a mile so mostly walkable. But since it’s winter I mostly drive. Parking insights great. The home is charming and I’ll be staying longer because I enjoyed it so much.

I was at this place with my family for a week and we had a great time staying there. Host Brian is very responsive. Great place to spend your weekends.

Absolutely wonderful place to stay!! The personal touches were outstanding! Ashley has thought of everything you would need while staying at her place!! The goats were friendly and so fun! Tigger, the welcome kitty took his job seriously!! Such an amazing place!!!

We were extremely happy with our stay at Paul and Erika’s Airbnb. They had truly thought of everything with little toiletries supplied for those who may have forgotten them, multiple board games available, wood for bonfires, and a helpful welcome guide. The Christmas Tree Farm was beautiful and at night we were pleasantly surprised by hundreds of fireflies out in the fields. Such a cool experience! The close proximity to the Dells and Devil’s Lake made it the perfect location. The hosts were also very responsive and proactive on the Airbnb app. Highly recommend!

very cool mid-century decor and filled with everything you might possibly need during your stay. the host was very responsive to messages. I was attending a wedding at Wildwood Cottage and this was an excellent lodging option for me. definitely would recommend to anyone staying in the area who appreciates a vintage vibe.

The house was a perfect fit for my friends and I. The kitchen was spacious enough for us since we cooked while we were here. It had all the dishes and cookware we needed. Place was clean upon arrival. It was a private and great place for the weekend. Thank you for a great stay!

Jacob was very helpful and responsive. The place is in a great location, close to a ton of fun places in town. Only downside was it was hard to keep the house cool during the day in the summer heat wave. Super unique and cozy home!

Jonathan’s place was great and he was very accommodating. The pool/hot tub combo was amazing to have on the property. Would definitely stay here again.

Dren’s place was lovely and conveniently located to a lot of restaurants and activities. Our kids loved being able to walk to McKee Farm Park! I would definitely recommend it to others!

If you’re doing research on where to stay in the Madison area, this is the spot. Great combo of a cool, unique place, quaint and beautiful surroundings, and a very communicative and responsive host. Jordyn went above and beyond - they even walked our dogs when we were out for a bit. Would do it again, no doubt.
