Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ventnor

Lovely spot right on the beach. Easy holiday with the kids as they can head over to the beach whenever. House was as described, easy to get in and didn’t need to bother Scott for anything 🙂

The place was absolutely great, very spacious and a really nice fireplace. It was very clean and the surrounding was absolutely amazing. Very good communication with the host as well.

A beautiful house which really makes the most of the ocean views. We really enjoyed the design of this house with great natural light and versatile spaces. Despite having a very cold snap with the weather, the house was quick to warm and remained warm when the heating was off. Great location with easy car access to Philip Island and surrounds, but otherwise very peaceful. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for just over a week and did not want to leave! It’s the perfect accom for a young family. You can tell the home has been renovated with a lot of thought put into it. We loved the style and the setup of the backyard, was lovely to relax outside. The barbecue was handy and we did a lot of cooking - the kitchen also has everything you need and is well equipped. We spent a lot of time out the back or sitting out on the front deck. It is walking distance to the beach, 2 min drive to the patrolled beach. It’s a great base for visiting the island. We were truly sad to leave, we had such a fabulous time. Angus was easy to reach and responded quickly to any messages. Highly recommend this home, we would love to return. Thank you

Probably one of the best places we have ever stayed in. perfect to chill and unwind. Amazing secure area for the 2 small dogs and heaps for them to explore. inside was fantastic and had everything we needed. Couches and beds are comfy. Bathroom clean. Highly recommend for couples or just a couple. Thanks Howard. So good!

What a fabulous holiday house - short walk to the beach, beautiful views, plenty of space for extended family and everything we could possibly need. Great communication (especially in helping return my niece’s shoes!) and very easy check in/out.

Amazing views of the bay and close enough to cafes and shops but keeps a sense of privacy and relaxed homely feel. Easy drive to all the Mornington Peninsula has to offer..The ambience was beautiful, and Samantha’s communication throughout made everything smooth and enjoyable. We’d absolutely stay again if we’re ever back in the area!

My husband and I agree that Karen and Peter’s beautiful holiday home provided the best getaway we’ve ever experienced. The location and views were breathtaking, and the locals we met were warm and friendly, especially at the dog-friendly beach just a stone’s throw away. This home was an absolute gem peaceful, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed with high-quality touches throughout. From the luxurious bed and crisp linens to the plush couch and spotless bathroom, every detail made the stay feel indulgent and comfortable. One thing that really stood out was the water pressure strong enough to actually wash your hair, which is surprisingly rare in most Airbnbs. And unlike many places, there were no leaks or awkward plumbing quirks in the shower just clean, functional design. The host was warm, responsive, and genuinely accommodating, making the experience feel seamless from start to finish. This place is a perfect escape for couples looking to unwind in comfort and style. I’ll absolutely be coming back 5 stars, hands down.

Max was responsive, friendly and a fantastic host. The Boat House is quaint get eclectic at the same time with charming character. Quiet location, easily drivable to Cowes and some fantastic local walks nearby too! Would certainly stay again

Had a lovely stay at the premise, the view over the bay was fantastic, and the proximity to the beach made the purpose of our visit conveniently accessible. Wasn't anticipating downstairs neighbors, but was more concerned that we were bothering them than them bothering us.

Silvana was a great communicator, it was across the road from the beach and such a lovely easy place to stay! We loved it! 👏💖

Great stay unbelievable house I would definitely go back there

It was a last minute getaway and was just perfect. Exactly what we wanted and expected. Cold enough evenings to make the most of a fabulous fireplace. Lovely open space. Perfectly equipped kitchen and walkable distance to shops and beach. It was also a perfect secure home to bring our dog.

The accomodation was fantastic. Had everything we needed, plus extras, like tennis rackets, games, etc. Communication was extremely quick and things were fixed immediately. in a nice, quiet location of the resort. Would definitely go back there if travelling to Philip island.

I had an amazing stay at Annie's place. The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, offering great local tips and quick responses to any questions. The space was clean, cozy, and exactly as described—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Philip Island.

Polperro’s villas are so beautiful with incredible views of the vineyards. Loved the wine selection, they all were fantastic. The villa had all the amenities, wine selection, chocolates, mini bar, breakfast options. Inside was supper clean, spacious, too warm to use the fireplace but would have been nice. Sit on the deck with a glass of wine and admire the view. It was so peaceful.
