I stayed here with family for a North Shore getaway. This place was gorgeous, spacious, private, and quiet! There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and ample shared spaces for cooking, watching movies, and relaxing together. We loved the proximity to Grand Marais and all the great North Shore hiking spots. The pizza oven was a blast to try out and I used the provided telescope to look at the beautiful full moon. If you’re looking for a private spot with family or friends to enjoy views of Lake Superior, look no further! We can’t wait to come back.

The house was exactly as described and Jerri is a warm, flexible hostess, responsive to needs and questions. The kitchen is well stocked and the house very comfortable, the beds cozy and the location perfect for chasing waterfalls, collecting Yooper Lites, finding great coffee and walking distance from lovely trails. Recommendations were spot on for our needs and interests and instructions clear, reasonable and easy to follow. We loved the firepit in the back yard to end days of hiking and kayaking. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough. The host, the space and the location all made for one of my favorite stays ever! (Don’t rush to book though, I need to book again first! 😂)

Beautiful eco-friendly stay. Peace and quiet, just what we needed for the weekend away! Everything was very clean and the check out process was clearly listed in the entryway. The atmosphere was tucked away in the woods, we went in the spring so lots of crickets and frogs humming at night - my kids loved to look in the little pond with flashlights. If you love the outdoors you will love Jenny’s place. PS Fayette state park was so breath taking and a short drive from the location. We made our way to marquette for lunch during the stay as well. Plenty to plan for.

We wanted a quiet mini family get away for the long Memorial Day weekend and this place did not disappoint! We all felt right at home and appreciated the cleanliness and location. The beach was beautiful and serene, kitchen was well stocked with every kind of kitchen tool you could imagine. All linens were very clean and good quality!

A beautiful home with incredible sunlight and a stunning view of the lake. Everything is well-curated and very thought out in the home. Our only complaint was that on the first night we arrived, it was pretty hot and we wanted to cool down the home. There’s only one window A/C unit located in the living room and the person who was sleeping on the sofa bed would have been extremely cold if we used it to try and cool down the whole house. So, it put us in a bit of a bind with how to keep that person comfortable while also attempting to cool the whole home. Thankfully, it cooled down for the rest of our stay. If we had come during the height of summer though, i am not sure what we would have done.

Beautiful location with views of Little Bay de Noc. Fenced in backyard is great for dogs and the property is "green" friendly, even had pipes, papers and a grinder. For those that don't care for that smell (like my wife), no worries! She couldn't detect even a faint whiff. Huge driveway if you have your boat or ATVs and a fire pit out back. Definitely recommend if you're visiting the Escanaba area.

This place was great! Walking distance to downtown and all the restaurants and shops. Beautiful home with great decor. Wendy was super friendly! Even recommended some things for us to check out while we were there.

It was a beautiful setting. Attached to the winery but on the back side so we had privacy too.

My wife and I had an amazing stay. This location is in a prime location walking distance from shops and food. The place was exactly as described and we would 100% stay again. The hosts were also very responsive and welcoming. 10/10

My family and I traveled to the area to attend a wedding. Jenny’s place was perfect for us. It offered all the amenities needed for an enjoyable stay. We would have taken advantage of more of them if our stay had been longer. We appreciated how welcoming and comfortable the property is. Jenny was great in providing helpful information and instructions, and she always was quick to respond. We would definitely stay there again on a return trip to the area.

We loved our weekend getaway at Mark and Wendy’s cabin! The views were beautiful! Also, Mark and Wendy had great communication with us throughout the entire experience.

We cannot say enough good things about our stay at Angela’s! The location was perfect. The view itself is absolutely stunning and we loved being right on the bay. The home is extremely clean and comfortable. We are so excited to come back again soon!

Heather's place was easily accessible. The listing had everything I needed for a lovely weekend at Walloon Lake. It was also very walkable to the waterfront and other things in the town, such as restaurants and the General Store. Great place to stay!

We fell in love with this little oasis from the moment we saw it! Such a peaceful, thoughtful space in a beautiful, private location. The hosts thought of everything and we appreciated all the little details and amenities like the sauna. Very well equipped for such a small space and very well kept. The bed was really comfortable and the light from all the windows was incredible! Worth the trek - we will be back.

My husband and I had a very relaxing little getaway! He always likes to stay somewhere tucked away in the woods, but I like to be close to town for activities so this was the best of both worlds! It was very cozy and peaceful, exactly what we needed to unwind. We would definitely book this place again!

This is such a treasure! We pulled up and it instantly felt safe and inviting. The full strawberry moon raised over the lake as we looked out the huge picture windows. We couldn’t have loved this place more.

The location and view were perfect. The reviews were helpful to manage expectations of this cabin. You can tell a lot of fun and memories have been made here.

We had such a wonderful time at Big Cedar ! The only thing i forgot to pack was stuff for my husband’s coffee and was so pleasantly surprised to have a Keurig & the means for coffee! Definitely bring 40% deer mosquito spray ! Can’t wait to come back ☺️

Wonderful place to stay with my family and dogs for the weekend. Large kitchen, comfortable beds, a fenced in yard plus a wood burning sauna. The views were beautiful from the deck too right by the lake. Great spot to relax and would definitely love to visit again.

Fabulous stay!! Beautiful, private location with LOTS of outside space to use for playing or just hanging out. Fully stocked cabin - comfortable and well set up for cooking yourself! Host is very gracious, responsive and helpful, but not intrusive! We will definitely be back and will bring others with us to share the fun!

It was a beautiful little place with lots of property for my kids to run around and play. Was able to find lots of rocks (along with a couple yooperlites)
