What a great stay! I love an A frame and this house was perfect. It was well stocked - even had plenty of wood for the fire pit. The s'mores welcome kit was perfect. I will say that if you have a hard time with stairs then this house probably isn't for you because the bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs but Carrie has several other homes to choose from. It really is peaceful. There are neighbors but they are quiet and we only saw one set of neighbors the three days we were there. The dirt roads to the house weren't bad either. I will stay here again and highly recommend it to friends and family. Actually am seriously considering taking my 3 college age daughters for a girls' weekend.

This setting allowed me to qualify my stay in this airbnb and honestly for my family and I, 5 points doesn’t qualify how great was our experience, we considered it is a 10. Cara’s Airbnb is a beautiful place, cozy, clean, spacious. It is a mixture of luxury/rural cabin that provides the perfect environment for the most enjoyable stay. We will love to return to Wisconsin next year and definitely we will return to Cara’s place.

Anna was a great host! Very responsive and reached out to see if we needed anything. Her cottage is super clean, cozy, and the tranquility of the location can’t be beat. We shall return!

Really loved our time at this cabin overall! The location is gorgeous - the views from the back patio, the hot tub, the fire pit, and the indoor spaces are absolutely stunning. You can see so much of the lake, and of the beautiful surrounding land. The cabin is also lovely. It had lots of little touches to make it feel more comfortable, cozy, and ready to settle right in! There are a few things I wish were more clear in the listing. For example, there are two bedrooms - one has a queen bed, and one has a trundle with two twins. The other queen is a pull-out couch right in the living room. Since the cabin is mostly just one large space, that room is open to all of the space. Also, the hot tub is on a low watt plug, so it took about 5 hours for it to warm up to the point of being comfortable in chilly weather. I wish it had warmed up more quickly, or been usable right when we arrived. Overall it was a really lovely trip and I would definitely recommend it to others!

Stayed in Topinbee to attend Mackinac Island Lilac Festival. This was an amazing spot to relax from the busy festival activites! Having a quiet evening in the hot tub with the beautiful view of Lake Mullet was quickly a favorite activity! Cannot recommend this rental enough for an extremely relaxed and pleasant lakeside space. Hosts were very responsive, gave great recommendations, and were incredibly helpful when we worried we misplaced one of our personal items. Hopefully we'll be able to make the trip again next year for the next fest!

We stayed here for a ski race for my daughter at Searchmont and the accommodations and host Jessica were excellent. Great, clean, modern home on Lake Superior. Quiet and relaxing. Would highly recommend.

We had a great holiday weekend at the cabin for the Bayshore Marathon. It is very clean and has everything we needed and more. It had a seccluded woodsy feel in spite of being very near the main parts of town and walkable. Close to the beach, the start trail but private with a wooded back yard and creek running through the property. 3 mile is noisy and busy as is 31 but it didn’t bother us. We brought ear plugs just in case.

This home is a peaceful, quiet, retreat. The views were the biggest plus for us. Dan has really nice outdoor furniture, hammock and firepit.....And when moving indoors, comfortable, clean sofas to sit and watch the water too. For a "dog friendly home", the owners have really done a great job of keeping the indoor spaces very clean and bright. We felt very comfortable amd relaxed here. What a great southern Door spot!

Beautiful, secluded area. We saw deer, turkeys, a porcupine, and other birds. We also watched the sunrise several times. Arlen was gone but his parents, who live next door, were very responsive, including selling us fresh bread and helping us look at our car when we had an issue. While you're on the island, check out the fort and the artifact museum. Bring bug spray for the mosquitoes. Depending on your water preference, you might want to buy bottled water to drink. Also, the beach is more rocky than sandy. Overall though, we definitely enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay! Plenty of space for 3 couples and a 3 year old. The house was set up nice and had lots of great amenities including everything we needed to keep our kiddo busy. The views are amazing from the house and the location was great. A nice middle point from activities in Sault St Marie and Whitefish Point/Tahquamenon.

The location was totally ideal for everything we wanted to do. About 30 minutes to pretty much every major city surrounding this Airbnb (Cheboygan, Mackinaw City, Petoskey). Very peaceful location. All around great Airbnb.

This was our second stay at the Blue Kettle Cottage and we are already planning a third! Deirdre is super friendly and communicative, always responding to any questions we may have. The home is very clean, cozy, and has all the amenities including a full kitchen. Less than a 10 minute drive to Empire and the Dunes, and within a half hour to Traverse City, Suttons Bay and Leland. Our favorite part is sitting on the patio just enjoying the peacefulness and nature. Can't wait to return!

It was a wonderful place to stay with the touch of history that the UP has since it was a mining house at one time. Everything was very clean and taken care of. Would recommend to anyone heading to the keweenaw and look for a good location with all sorts of history, waterfalls, and rock hunting around.

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Winding River Cottages and we absolutely love it. Located just outside of town, it is a private space on the water that is teeming with wildlife and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. It’s perfect for fishing, relaxing by the campfire and exploring surroundings from the kayak. It is clear that the owners take pride in their cottages, as they have made significant updates since we last stayed - new pergolas, charming outdoor lighting and a beach! We hope this space is available the next time we return!

This is a very spacious one bedroom place to stay. I really liked the size of the deck. Very comfortable furniture and bed. Every thing was very clean. I was there for a quick weekend trip to ride mtn bikes and being right in Copper Harbor allows you to park and not have to get in your vehicle again with the trails, shops, and restaurants all within a few blocks. Same and Shelby were attentive hosts. I hope to stay here again soon.

Great little cabin! Perfect for our overnight stay on our way up to the UP. Responsive host, loved that they had Kcups and shower stuff available. Secluded, great little bar and restaurant down the road. Thank you!

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and it was just as wonderful as the first. We love the private and peaceful location. The home has everything you need for cooking meals. And Pam is very responsive to any requests or concerns we had. We hope to stay again next time we are in the area!

This place is REMOTE, peaceful and quiet. The house was extremely clean and well organized. Its nice to see a full kitchen of everything needed, including spices! Loved the view of the lake.

this cabin is very nice and clean. it is set back in off the road and peaceful. Dave is very responsive is you have question or problems. We unfortunately had to cut our stay short and head home 2 days early. Dave was very understanding. he is a very nice person to deal with. wish we didn't have to leave. Great lil cabin.

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. Lori had everything we needed. She communicated throughout our visit as there were fire restrictions in place. As soon as they were lifted she let us know. I can’t wait to return!

Diane was very responsive to all of our questions. The view and vibe were fantastic, we really loved our rustic stay in the UP, complete with peak foliage and tons of wildlife. Kitchen is fully stocked, sauna gets hot, couch is comfy. A couple of things which are noteworthy, the cottage is not really in the populated part of L’Anse so going to the store/town is 20 min each way. There is a bunch of firewood outside to use which is very convenient. The waterfront fire ring seemed to be in the neighbors yard so we were unsure and didn’t use it, didn’t see any outdoor chairs to use around it either, was probably and oversight on our part and I’m sure if asked, this would have been answered right away :). The extra cottage is not attached and a little bit of a walk from main house, not ideal if traveling with kids fyi, but clearly stated in description. Everything is comfy and relaxing and we would come back here. Thank you.
