Small Presteskjær Lighthouse

Lighthouse from 1895 with a dwelling and apartment in the tower itself. The building is established on a shear at the end of Rekefjord. Original fixtures from the time when the lighthouses with family lived in the lighthouse. The lighthouse has a kitchen, bathroom and toilet, living room, stalls, atrium with panoramic views, 3 bedrooms and small kitchen that has been converted into extra bedrooms. There is also a boat garage adjacent to the lighthouse, this one is furnished for outdoor coziness and simple dining.

There is a 230V, 1000W, converter where you can plug in phone chargers, PCs, vacuum cleaner etc. The cabin is without running water, and drinking water is provided in 25L canisters. Heat comes from the fireplace. Biological toilet. Foot pump driven shower. Propane driven fridge and stove. This is living sustainability.

Benedikte house on architect-designed Svindland farm

The Benedikte house is about 10 min drive from Egersund city center and about 5 min from E39. We have attempted to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the courtyard of the Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock that runs freely. The house is very modern and well-equipped.
